Celebrations of Life are difficult to process, both mentally and physically. It's easier to deal with when you have someone to help with this process. I was very fortunate to have a pre-planning celebration put in place, only 2 month before, but I was very thankful we did because I was not in the right state of mind to make these decisions while going through the emotional loss of my husband. James, at DiCicco & Sons, is someone in whom you can put your Trust. James and the team personally care not only about you, but the wellbeing of your family, both pre and post celebration of life services. I have and will choose DiCicco & Sons again. My family has used DiCicco & Sons Funeral Home on several occasions. They are not only sympathetic and comforting but they make the entire process from start to finish very easy on a grieving family. My loved ones were treated and handled with respect. They do an outstanding job at making the deceased look as natural and as peaceful as possible. Anthony DiCicco even met with our family on a Saturday afternoon leaving his nieces wedding for a couple of hours so we could make arrangements for my mom’s service. I couldn’t imagine using another funeral home at such a difficult time.

Frankly, I'd always thought everything that had anything to do with funerals was a complete scam. These guys know you're emotionally bereft and are ready to pounce. I couldn't have been more misinformed. From the moment we 1st met - and sat down with - Anthony (the 3rd generation in the business) we couldn't have felt more comfortable & confident in our decision. Not only is each member of the staff relaxed, friendly & thoroughly knowledgeable, they made each of us feel as though our mother's funeral was the only thing they had to do. From their heartfelt compassion & intimate knowledge of the business to their consummate professionalism, these guys are 1st class all the way. I swear these people are invisible because everything was where it was supposed to be - when it was supposed to be there - the way it was supposed to be - but you never saw a soul until you needed them! To me, the sign of a successful operation is when a series of events are performed so smoothly & so flawlessly that it looks easy. But I know it wasn't. And the meal at the conclusion of the ceremony (prepared from scratch by Anthony's wife!!) made us all wonder why they don't open a restaurant right next door! I simply cannot say enough good things about the way Anthony & his staff handled...EVERYTHING. Death is never pleasant. But if there was a way to ease the burden & facilitate healing, Dicicco had it covered. Thanks guys!

I recommend their services should you ever need cremation or funeral help. Knowing the ashes were going to go through a scanner at the airport he put them in a container that was able to be scanned and not the original one I had given him. I would not have known to do that. His guidance and caring nature made a very sad time bearable.
