With regard to the one star review by Ally Johnston I asked about it. The reason their prearrangements couldn't be found was because THEY WEREN'T MADE WITH THIS FUNERAL HOME! Unfortunate that people get upset and post inaccurate reviews and then don't remove them. Comox Valley Funeral Home is fantastic. They go above and beyond for their clients and for their community.

Not impressed .... searching high and low for what my mother prepaid for her funeral, after my dad died...plot next to him etc., and they say "Gee we have no records". Be very careful with this lot Update....funeral home here in Victoria tried to contact them, to see who did plaque for one of my parents and they wouldn't even call them back...go elsewhere I say again

My mother had a pre-paid plan with a funeral home in Ontario, which we transferred it Comox Valley Funeral Home. They were so helpful and kind with us. I recommend them without reservation. I am so sorry to see that they received one misleading low rating just through an error, because of a family's misunderstanding about their mother's plan.

If you are looking to be ignored, talked over, up sold, and treated without a modicum of empathy or human decency, during an inherently sensitive and sacred time in your life, this is the place for you. I found myself genuinely disturbed and perplexed by the treatment my partner and I received on behalf of the owner, Kent. My partner and I are younger (late 20s/early 30s) which is maybe the reason we found ourselves routinely interrupted, ignored and condescended to. During a painful and challenging chapter in our lives, where a modest amount of compassion goes a long ways, we did not find it here.
