The staff of Coutts Funeral Home were very kind and most helpful as our family dealt with our father's death. They were always there for us through each step that needed to be taken and always had suggestions for us when we weren't certain how to deal with something. This is the 3rd time we have used Coutts Funeral Home relating to family members that have passed and we will certainly be using them in the future. They will be recommended by us to others who need a place to take care of a passed family member.

Attended today for a visitation and funeral. The staff seemed disorganized and unprepared, snapping at us (family) "you need to leave this room". It was the room where the refreshments would be after the service. The person who greeted us hadn't given us any direction, we were just looking for the rest of our family. The place itself is lovely, but the snarky staff and worse, the preparation of our loved one was very, very disappointing. Normally staff at funeral homes are so welcoming, helpful, and kind. I hope for the sake of other families this was just an off day. Based on this experience I cannot in good conscience recommend Coutts Funeral Home in Cambridge. They made an excrutiating day just a little more unpleasant. You and your loved ones deserve a better experience than we were given today.

Unfortunately I would NOT recommend Coutts Funeral home to ANYONE who may be looking for an average funeral or average funeral costs. Our family found them to be EXTREMELY over priced - we paid around $12,000 for a CREMATION service. Of course we had added a few extra’s such as necklaces & extra flowers however $12,000 for a cremation is way too much. My family also found Coutts to be extremely overbearing when it came to getting paid their money. They were insisting on getting paid before they had even transported my late grandfather to their funeral home. The funeral director (the manager) was very unfriendly, and a bit stand-off ish. We paid close to $1,500 in flower coats & asked to have my late grandfathers name put on a ribbon (as commonly seen) & whoever did their arrangements wrote his name in permanent marker on the ribbon. Extremely tacky! Especially for a $300.00 flower arrangement. We brought the flowers home afterwords as there was no burial & we were told the flowers would last roughly two weeks (the ones in the vase) - they lasted 48 hours before turning completely brown. The funeral home is gorgeous on the inside however & it’s very peaceful. The atmosphere was very calming & the aesthetic was very well done for the viewing - this is why I have provided the funeral home with two stars. If you have 10‘s of thousands of dollars to dish out on a funeral & you’re not too picky - Coutts is your place. However, wasn’t quite for us & we won’t be as I mentioned recommending.

I was there for a funeral in 2020 just before the pandemic hit. I have to say they did do an amazing job on my boyfriend who had overdosed. They were very caring and compassionate. From what I was told they helped every step of the way. If you can afford this place it's so far the best funeral home I've been too. I'd recommend to those I know.

Fantastic funeral home. They even allow you to bring in your pets to say goodbye to your loved one. Pets need closure too. I have used Coutts three times now and each time has been very professional. The staff are absolutely amazingly! A huge shout out to Janelle and Jenny.

Our funeral director Ashley made a very difficult time a lot less of an unpleasant experience. We required the services of the funeral home during the pandemic self isolation. Ashley went over everything required walking us through an online and phone call meeting. Ashley took her time to explain all details and was always available to answer questions and be of support. Also Jenn walked us through a package that we picked up of all government documents required to be sent in. Jenn had everything filled out talked us though it and all we had to do was sign . Jenn had the envelopes stamped and ready for mailing. With enough stress on the family these two Coutts employees made our difficult time less stressful. If or when we require a funeral homes services again we would definitely choose Coutts. Thank you for your compassion and expertise.

We are so thankful for the assistance and support from Jenny and Ashley at Coutts. Both took the time to answer any questions and were always available to help. Although planning a funeral is very difficult after you've lost a loved one, we were at ease knowing that we were taken care of by these two women. Ashley and Jenny were kind, calm, compassionate and friendly. As for the facility, it has been newly renovated and looks beautiful and very welcoming. It has large open spaces and does not feel like your typical funeral home. I highly recommend Coutts as both the facility and staff are outstanding!
