God bless the staff at Corbett Funeral Home. My mother & father passed away tragically from a car accident on December 21 2019. Michael and the entire staff at Corbett have been so caring & supportive during this difficult time. They were understanding of our religious ceremonies as Hindus and even accepted my request of passing by my parents home with the two hearse. I will never forget their kind hearts. My grandpa's service was there in 2011 my grandma's in 2012. It takes strong loving heart to be in that service and I thank them all again for helping me through the hardest time of my life. Highly recommend this funeral home.

Our family thanks Corbett Funeral home for their excellent service. Dealing with the passing of our father was extremely difficult. Kevin dealt with everything so nicely from the arrangements to the beautiful service we had. Kevin was honest, caring and compassionate. When we needed help he listened and gave excellent choices/advice. Kevin made a very difficult time a little easier for our family.

Found the staff to be friendly and welcoming - Bev was awesome in lightening the mood, such a friendly face. My father passed away suddenly a few weeks ago. We went to Corbett because they had an amazing reputation and they lived up to it. We dealt directly with both Kevin and Terry, and they made this horrible experience very easy and manageable. They were there for everything we possibly needed, and were compassionate and caring to our situation. They didn’t try to sell us on anything and simply listened to what we wanted for our loved one. They took down the decorations and packed up so we didn’t have to have a late night after the service. They were so much more than accommodating. As tragic as this was, I am so glad my father was in their care and would highly recommend Corbett funeral home if you have lost a loved one.

I have been here many times and so far I have not been the main attraction, if you know what I mean. I have had more friends pass away and have had to come here to visit them then I can remember in the last five years. The home is easily located. The staff are friendly and knowledgable and always seemed to meet the needs of the family. Their service seems to me to be right up there with the best of the homes and your not over charged for things. Nice and clean with all the needs for the family. My mother in law who passed in June 2014 was buried from here and the staff were with us right up to we put mom into her final resting place. They were very helpful. Scott chose the right career and was there for us. I will be choosing this home myself when my time comes. Update. My wife passed away Sat September the 22nd 2018 and again, I chose Corbett's. This is the only Canadian owned funeral home in this area. Dean was very good to everyone in my family. Someone had made a candle with my wife's picture on it and it was where you sign the Condolence book when you walk in. I believe Dean had done this. I had asked for some extra's and the lady there at night told me they were $20.00 per candle. I asked for 4 and Dean said no charge. I had asked for a few more since then and again, I was not charged. This was very nice of him. We had the service for my wife, then took her to the cemetery to her final resting place. The staff were good and it all went well. Today, I planned my funeral out as well to get it over with. A good thing to do when you have no family, or a small family.

I had the horrible need of Corbett Funeral Home. Lois and Dean could not have been more helpful. We choose to use the recommend catering although i had read a bad review. I asked Dean about it and he was upfront about the details. Since he had been so transparent about everything else. I desided to go ahead and use the recommend caterer. I am so glad we did. The food was fresh. Tasted great and more than enough was provided. Many of our guests commented on how good the food was. Although this was a hard time for myself and my family, Dean and everyone else truly helped. Thank you.

Visiting Corbett’s is never something anyone likes doing, luckily there staff make it as much of a pleasant experience as they can. It is always a safe, clean welcoming place to visit and say goodbye to your loved ones. The Corbett staff are extremely respectful to the sensitivity of your visit. They have done a incredible job of keeping everyone safe with the new covid regulations and ensure your time there’s is as normal as it could be. Huge shoutout to Kevin for being so helpful and accommodating throughout the whole process with my family! He always made sure we were comfortable and if we needed anything to contact him! Had a tragically sudden death in the family and went through Corbett as we had been to a funeral there 6 months ago and it was our first time having to make arrangements. Initially found them very helpful but the quality delivered was lacking. Poorly designed memorial cards (cheap paper, words mashed together/hard to read), lack of direction/advice during service, and not following through on original requests - an ash keepsake and fingerprint jewellery were missed in the final billing. Given that the remains were cremated, the fingerprint memorial opportunity is now gone. While it might be on us during our extreme grief to not have noticed the screw up in the final bill, we explicitly requested said items and it feels careless that professionals did not follow through. Perhaps because we chose a "cheaper" route that the care was lacking. Would not recommend.

The service that Kevin gave my family went above and beyond anything we ever could have expected. After the sudden death of my brother, my family and I had to begin making funeral preparation during an unthinkable time. Kevin made this difficult process easier to handle. He is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful and was ok hand to answer any and all questions or concerns that we had. With COVID restrictions making his difficult job even harder, you almost wouldn’t notice because of the incredible grace and kindness in which he does his job. Everything about the visitation was beautiful. It was everything we could have hoped for and was a beautiful send off for my brother. It takes a special person to do this job and I wouldn’t have wanted anything else. The entire funeral home was exceptional. I’m thankful to Kevin and the staff for helping myself and my family during the hardest time in our lives and we will never forget everything you did for us.

We were very pleased with the funeral home initially, but deeply regret having taken their advice to use their caterer, we were told that they were very generous. We ordered for 75 people but on the day of the funeral exactly 4 trays of sandwiches, 1 tray each of veggies, fruit, pickle and dessert tray. We only had about 35 people and food was pretty much picked over we were so embarrassed and disappointed and now a year has gone by and the first thing people remembered about my father in law's funeral was the horrible sight of barely any food, the unprofessional attire worn by the catering person and to top that off my sister in law and mother in law met with the owner and on the worst day of our lives he wanted us to have compassion for what the caterer had going on in her life. Ultimately they ruined the last thing we were able to do in hounor of my father-in-law. I can sympathize with other people having dificulties in their life but not when we are saying goodbye to our loved one. The caterer should not have done this job if she was unable to do it properly. The funeral homes owner made it clear that he was on the side of the caterer so I will pass on how we were treated to all my family and friends in hopes they use a funeral home that actually cares about their customers.

I wanted to personally thank the funeral director, Terry Sallows for helping me with all the funeral arrangements.
