We lost our Mom unexpectedly so we had to start from scratch when making the arrangements for her visitation, funeral and burial. Janelle worked with us every step of the way and offered consistent professionalism and kindness. Her attention and email response to the many questions we had leading up to Mom’s service was always quick and immediately reassuring. We imagined that maneuvering through visitations during covid would be a nightmare, but the staff at Barthel Funeral Home were very considerate with our family and friends while also maintaining high quality cleaning routines. We were so grateful to have Michelle, Avril, Izaiah and the amazing team of pallbearers there with us to make our way through one of our hardest moments. Afterwards, Kathy was thorough and considerate of our grief in our meeting to finalize paperwork. The staff did everything with grace, respect and pride and we are forever thankful.

Our mother recently passed away at the age of 90. We were very overwhelmed by the occurrence and didn't know where to begin with the funeral arrangements. Our meeting with Janelle, was long, being asked numerous questions, and having to make a lot of immediate decisions left me with a massive headache and overwhelmed by it all. On my drive home, I realized that all the details had been covered from start to finish and it just had to be played out. This was very comforting. The funeral was beautiful and met all of our mother's wants which left us feeling extremely pleased. This could not have been done without the help of all the staff at Barthel and most importantly Janelle's numerous questions. So, I thank you sincerely for your hard work and kindness at a very tough time. I would highly recommend Janelle.

Don't like the way I have to look for a loved one that has recently deceased. Not being able to look at a list of recently deceased at your funeral home is not easy to find out.
