Richard and his staff have been wonderful with my arrangements. They have been warned that my family is likely try to interfere, when I can no longer speak for myself. To guard against that, Richard's staff are helping me cover all the bases, in writing, no matter how eclectic my tastes. It is my hope that I am able communicate my wishes, to the family, well enough in advance that they can come to accept them and not make a scene after I am gone The process is giving me peace of mind and I truly couldn't do this without them. I want to thank the entire staff at Truscott, Brown & Dwyer for the way they handled the arrangements for my aunt last week. In a difficult time they showed compassion and handled any questions / requests we had. The service was wonderful, and everything was done professionally. I hope I don't need to plan another funeral for a long time, but I would turn to Richard and his team again!

I had one of the worst experiences at this funeral home. The funeral director was rude to both my sister and I. We had just recently lost our father who we had a difficult relationship with and he had the utmost disrespect for both of us. We were told to go attend a viewing and upon arrival of walking into the funeral home he addressed us as if we amounted to nothing. He was very rude stating you should not be here when you do not have an appointment. We were told by our family to come for this time and he was not polite in any manner. I was worried he was treating us this way because of ageism so I called my aunt to come help with communicating to with him. She had come to help us further discuss the arrangements and he was still rude to her. I would not recommend this funeral home. In a time of grief I felt that how I was treated was not humane or right.

Since this was the second funeral we had to organize wthin 9 months, ( and the first one went well), this one was easy and quick to complete planning. The staff was helpful and unobtrusive. They were helpful with their questions and suggestions. The viewing room had been reorganized and was much more welcoming and had a nicer, familial feel to it now. Their care and professionalism made a difficult time much easier. Thank you.

I cannot say enough good things about Richard Kranstz and his team at the Truscott Brown & Dwyer Funeral Chapel. My husband passed away unexpectedly and Richard was able to see us later that same day to start making arrangements. He was so kind and patient with all of my questions, and very quick to respond to my emails. My husband was in good hands and that gave me great comfort at such a difficult time.

I feel that because we could not afford any "extras" like clergy, that the funeral home "assumed" that we knew what was and was not included. We asked about a guest book on the day of the memorial to be told it was not included and could go buy one. Really?!! We were advised the ashes would be returned within two weeks. Twenty six days later, when the funeral home was contacted, I was told the ashes were there waiting for a reception instead of being picked up at reception. Naturally we were very upset having to make the arrangements and I feel we were left to flounder at times.

I meant to write this review some time ago but as life goes I got busy. After speaking with friend’s about my mother in law’s funeral I suggested Truscott Brown, especially Richard, and remembered how I wanted to tell someone publicly how much we adored Richard. He was so kind, considerate and helpful at a very stressful time to myself, spouse and his siblings. As a matter of fact, all the staff working there were very kind and helpful. I will definitely continue to recommend this location whenever possible. Thank you to Richard and the Truscott team for helping my family, we will be forever grateful.

This was the second time we used Truscott, Brown & Dwyer. I cannot say enough good things about Marysa & the staff! Their professionalism, attention to detail and just amazing care & compassion! I never had to worry about anything, they had it covered from start to finish without any glitches along the way. The staff certainly take quite a burden off your shoulders at a time when you need it the most. As a side note, my mother looked absolutely amazing, which is something I find very rare when attending open caskets! The job was top notch and I know my mother approved! Thank you all!
