On October 13th, 2011, my father passed away. The funeral director Amy was nice enough however in situations where the extended family causes additional emotional harm to the next of kin, Bay Gardens needs to amend their rules to protect the surviving widower/child/immediate next of kin. As an example, whether or not to perform an autopsy.

We had such a great experience at Bay Gardens. We dealt mainly with Sheldon who was excellent. He genuinely cares about people and the loss they are still processing. There was never a moment where we doubted that he would take care of us. He has gone above and beyond and we truly appreciate everything he did for us. Thank you to all the staff who assisted in my sister’s funeral. When we mentioned that the makeup didn’t suit her, they didn’t hesitate to change it. They make the day run seamlessly and helped us put on a beautiful service to honour our loved one. May God bless you all.

Beautiful place.Everyone was very helpful from the funeral arrangements, the day of the service and until I picked up my husbands ashes . We were taken care of and treated with respect. Special thanks to Rob, Stacy and Mandie. I would recommend this place. Forever grateful.

Very nice facility but they do lie publicly as they advertise they are best in Hamilton by winning 2017 The Spec Readers Choice Awards as official winners in 4 categories, but in reality they have not even placed in top 5 in these 4 categories: Funeral Home, Cemetery, Funeral Director and Bereavement Counseling categories. False advertising and misleading the general public is beyond unprofessional.

This place looks quite clean nice. One thing that doesn’t look to good with it is the floors. Maybe try to but a carpet or something. But every ing else looks quite sweet

Everyone that helped me went above and beyond. They are extremely compassionate to your individual situation. I had to get government assistance to help pay, meaning they were underpaid.... I was treated like I paid full price and more! Many family members said the bathrooms were royalty standards clean and prepared.

Absolutely no compassion. On Friday at 3:00 p.m. of the long weekend we had a death in the family and staff wanted to leave to go home without talking with us. They said they were closed at 5:00. After coming back on the Tuesday they told us we could not have the funeral for a week. Went somewhere else where they cared.

The place is beautiful. The staff is professional & considerate. They explained what was available the cost. With my children they helped us with the necessary decisions Stacy was the best. A loving person who put her heart into the arrangements. The cemetery is near by so that was helpful. I would recommend this place if you are expecting a large turn out. Ours was large & everything was good

Very disrespectful service for my grandmother. They dressed her in the wrong dress and posed her wrong. My family still agues amongst ourselves because of their service. They charge a lot and offer little. With the little reach we will achieve in this review, do not go here. And if you do, don't choose Ian.

From the planning to the flowers arrangements to the visitation; incredible job! I'd like to thank Mandie for always following up with me for the pictures for the slideshow, Angela for being the wonderful director she is and always going above and beyond her standards to providing a wonderful ceremony, thank you Rob and Terry for leading and guiding all the cars to the cemetery and the other staff members who have always treated my family like their own. Overall, terrific job to Bay Garden employees.
