Let the Sunshine in!

We had my Dad's service at Henderson's. Gwen took such good care of us. She did her best to make sure everything went smoothly and we couldn't have asked for more. The catered lunch was fantastic. The interior of the funeral home is beautiful as well. Just a perfect setting to have family and friends come together to remember my Dad.

Before my grandfather passed he purchased their services. They did an exceptional job! They arranged a viewing and went absolutely above and beyond. My Grandpa looked amazing and they even had a cactus (he loved cacti) and his favourite song lyrics printed and placed with him. The extra efforts they put in for our family will never be forgotten. Melodie was genuine and made the entire process seamless and Ruby,who is putting together a slideshow for us, was lovely. The facility is beautiful and welcoming. I can't say enough about this facility and would highly recommend it to anyone who has lost a loved one or is in a position to begin making arrangements.

Caring and attentive staff were responsive from the first call. We dealt with Jaclyn who was great. Having called just the day after a relative's passing with nothing prearranged, she was able to help us get our affairs in order. They are able to do everything remotely right now and do electronic signatures which was convenient and safe during a difficult time. I wouldn't hesitate to call Henderson's and especially Jaclyn when you need or are prearranging funeral services.

It’s a very hard decision under the circumstances to pick the right funeral home, you want to do everything perfect for your loved one and most people (like me) are too distraught to over think things, so let me just say in the worst time of my life Henderson’s made it as manageable as humanly possible.. everyone there was so great, especially Melodie (who helped me) there were times I was about to break down and it seemed she would just know and excuse herself for a bit, then come back and carry on. They walk you through gently and give you private time with your loved one to prepare you (which really helped) before everyone comes to pay their respect. They never pushed anything on me and no surprises with pricing, it was all laid out and easy to understand. They really made a tragedy bearable for me and my 3 boys.

We were touched by Randy’s unique personal approach which comforted us during this difficult time. It was especially meaningful to us for Randy to offer his services at the gravesite, for without his calming assistance and direction, we would not have known what to do. We were blessed to have had Randy organize the funeral arrangements for my Mother, who passed away a year ago.
