Throughout the adjustments required by Covid-19, family scheduling, and new information about condition of the deceased, the staff were considerate, honest, and helpful. They made an awful experience far more bright. Dan and Joanna in particular were quick to help, exceeeded expectations, and showed a sincerity I feared might be lacking in those who handle funeral arrangements. Our family was pleasantly surprised at every turn.

Glenhaven's staff helped me through all the choices, and far surpassed my expectations. The room was beautifully and tastefully prepared. My son looked peaceful and natural. All our special requests were willingly accommodated (keepsake locks of hair, inclusion of photos and gifts to accompany my son through cremation, clothing arrangements, etc.). My parents prepaid for funeral services. My Mother service went well but when my Father passed they said I was mistaken that hers only was paid for. At her service they had said about how my Fathers was paid for and all we had to do was call. My parents told me they both were taken care off and paid for years before. Well, when he passed away June2018 they claimed he had not paid. No record! They said absolutely not. I ripped his place apart and luckily found the copies for both of them. I made an appointment and went into Glenhaven. The woman looked at them said it was copies of the same form. How he had not paid. I said look the names are reversed one was for my mother with my Dad as contact the second for Him with her as contact. She said I need to show my manager. She tried to take the only proof We had. I said it is not leaving my sight can't you make a copy. She said they had no copier and no one was allowed in the managers office but she would leave the door open in the room we were in. I said so I guess I need to leave and get this photocopied elsewhere for you. She sat and waited a good long time. Finally, I said well I guess we need to leave to get the copy. She then says we have a photocopier upstairs.. Unbelievable. So I went with her then a copy was made. She took to the manager. They agreed it was a prepaid contract. Did not volunteer what it included except casket, transport and handling body. Needed to ask dozens of questions to find out about everything else. Horrible to endure. Please if you have this already prepaid put the papers with your Will and let family know where it is. Do Not take their word that they keep track and you have nothing to worry about.. Its a small fortune that we almost lost. Money in their pockets!

Our family had never gone through this before and Alex from Glen Haven made our experience so comforting. From my first phone call speaking to Thomas my grief and sorrow was treated with great respect and dignity. Our service was only for 9 of our family members, but when we walked in to Glen Haven so much care was taken that we felt hundreds of people were to attend. We were able to say our final goodbyes to our dearly loved brother in a place that treated him with respect and dignity.
