Delmoro Fineral Home gave us the opportunity to say goodbye to our beloved mother Juanita, who was a grandmother and a great-grandmother, in such a nice and relaxing way. We felt they took great good care of us at all times, not only at the funeral, but also during the whole process. Some logistics for those who don't want the whole story: - Very prepared, well-trained staff; they have big hearts, and will treat your family with love and respect...especially if you give it back in return. - They are wheelchair accessible, and very accommodating. - Staff will make helpful suggestions, and never pressure you and your family to make specific choices. They will do their best to get you the most for your money. - They take care of all the details if you want them to; let them do their job, they do it very well. - There is a lot of parking, and they are very easy to get to off the 401/400. - Use Choice Catering for any kind of food you want to have (at the funeral home and/or reception). They are exceptional as well, and will never leave you or your visitors hungry. - If there's something you really want to happen, tell them because they will do anything in their power to deliver. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- To say the staff at Delmoro are exceptional is an understatement. My grandfather passed away on December 1, 2016, and they handled him and my family with care from start to finish. If you're looking for a funeral home who will take care of every single detail for you, and leave you to focus on what matters--being with family and friends--then Delmoro is for you. Marc and Merili were two of the kindest souls for us to encounter at such a difficult time, and we will be forever grateful to them, and the entire staff who cared for us at Delmoro. We wanted the experience to be that of family and friends coming over for a visit. So the staff set up the room with couches and comfortable seating. They also allowed us to have roasted chestnuts and dried figs for visitors; two of my grandfather's favourite snacks. Their public lounge had a fancy hot beverages machine (Saeco), and a constant flow of cookies for visitors. My family even had use of the private lounge where we could take breaks throughout the day with no intrusions. My grandfather had a special love for my mother's puppy, Chloe, and we were allowed to have her there with us while at Delmoro. Not only that, Nick even went so far as to purchase a dog bed, food dishes, food, and a toy for Chloe, giving her a special corner of the room that was all for her. What other funeral home do you know that has gone above and beyond for a family like that? I've never wanted to revisit a funeral home before Delmoro. Not only do I feel comfortable going back there, I look forward to seeing the kind faces who were right there with me and my family through this very difficult time. We love the staff at Delmoro, plain and simple.

However, the staff at Delmoro on 61 Beverly Hills Drive will walk this journey of grief with you with the out most compassion and sensitivity. I unfortunately, had to meet with Delmoro Staff on two occasions the last being just recently and I must say without any hesitation that I was cared for from the minute I made the first phone call. It didn't matter who I spoke to when I called, everyone became like family, on a first name basis and willing to help handle any concern. Losing a loved one is tragic , but even more so during a Pandemic. With the constant every changing Covid protocols the staff supported our family with every request as best as they could and ensured my loved one was always cared for. Loss is unavoidable, but receiving the proper care for when you must cross that bridge is equally important and I can assure you Delmoro is definitely the place to go.

It is difficult to lose a loved one. Even more difficult during a pandemic when social distancing prevents us from having the support from our own family and friends. When my husband died in January the staff at Delmoro were kind and empathic. They were professional but flexible. They enabled us to welcome friends and family to join us intimately to say our goodbyes. They also opened up his obituary site to include our many friends and family to participate virtually by viewing his funeral and internment. We recieved comforting comments, pictures and memories through the same website. They also supported and guided me through this painful process. It was astonishing how beautiful and healing the celebration of his life was. Thanks to Marc, Paula, Daniela and the rest of the staff at Delmoro for being there for us during this time. I would highly recommend Delmoro for anyone needing good support when you lose a loved one.

My husband and I had prearranged our funerals at Delmoro funeral home a couple of years ago. Sadly, we had to have my husbands funeral last week. As we had prearranged the details of the funeral when we sat down with Rita, the whole process was so much easier. From the start, Rita and the rest of the staff made us feel very welcomed and comfortable. The visitation and funeral process was conveniently facilitated through social distancing and online services. Even the limited catering to our house (due to covid) was exceptional. Pre-arranging a funeral is an emotional experience. Is it possible that it could be a satisfying, comforting and enjoyable experience as well? The answer is yes. My Sister and I met Daniella at Delmoro to pre-arrange our Mother’s funeral. Daniella entered the conference room with a smile. She was welcoming, calm and interested in us, our story, and our Mother. While going through the business of exploring options and making choices Daniella was transparent and engaging and honest. My Sister and I when having to decide, would always ask: What would Mom want? What would Mom think about that? This quickly led to a celebration of our Mother with stories and anecdotes and jokes. It wasn’t long before Daniella was joining in with our laughter and fun. It was a relaxing meeting and with Daniella’s expert help we left there satisfied that we had done our very best for our Mother. It was only a couple of weeks later that our Mother passed away. Our Funeral Director, Rita, was conscientious, available, and accommodating. Rita, and the staff that worked with her, made the visitation and the funeral go very smoothly. We were left to grieve, and Rita took care of everything else. The people at Delmoro helped us through a very difficult time. We are grateful for their caring and expertise. And, the oatmeal chocolate chip cookies they offer are amazing.
