Absolutely horrible service. We were addressed on multiple occasions as though we were in staff's way and spoken down to several times. Gillian has to be the worst funeral director I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. She was rude and condescending and totally insensitive. Would never recommend this place. This staff could use some sensitivity training as a whole. This is a profession that takes a special kind of person, and this staff (or those I came into contact with) have unfortunately landed in the wrong line of work.

In such a sort period of time, we have pulled out all necessary things that we need to compete and all were in place. Our family is very thankful to her, for all her help and assistance. I would like to thank Francis Olivares of Brampton funeral Homes for taking care of our loved one to her final resting place. We got the best service and friendly team during our saddest time. It certainly was a trying time for my family - losing a parent can never be easy but during COVID it was a nightmare. I had less than 24 hours ( due to our religion) to plan/ execute a funeral. I was preferred to Omar Khan by a family member- with just one phone call, Omar leap into action. He seamlessly assisted in all funeral needs and with out hesitation he worked with us to achieve the best send off for my dad. His dedication was remarkable. I applaud him for his kindness, professionalism and mannerism. Omar , thank you for all you have done for us , you went beyond the call of duty and it has not gone unnoticed. My husband passed away in the US, but we were from the Brampton/Georgetown area. My late husbands brother went to the cemetery to "check out" the facilities and ground for me due to my husbands traveling restrictions. A deposit was left and a contract signed, for a plot by his brother. Subsequently, after my husband passed, I visited the funeral home and cemetery to make the arrangements and final decision on the plot. I was shown a plot in the area by a Cemetery office staff, referring to the contract that a deposit was made by his brother. The cemetery staff personal did not offer to review the details of the contract with me, the wife and individual, who would be paying for the expense, but did inform me of the final expense due prior to the burial to occur in two days. The funeral staff were helpful, and facilities lovely, however things just went wrong after that. On the morning of the service, I drove through the cemetery to confirm that the gravesite had been dug. To my surprise, the location I was should had not been prepared. A funeral direction was in the cemetery and I mentioned that my husband's plot had not been dug and the services were to start in a hour. I was informed that she would look into for me, and I proceeded to the funeral home. Services and mass completed, we followed the herse to the grave site. As we all approached the grave site the location that I was shown was still not prepared, but two sections (20 plots away) into the cemetery a site was waiting for my husband's casket. After a short paused and brief discussion amongst staff and some family members, we had to continue with the service. We all stood around for the prayer at the gravesite and offering of flowers, and sealing and lowering of the casket, knowing it was the incorrect site. Grave site staff continued to state that the correct site had been prepared, however I presued the error and later the next the cemetery office confirmed that the wrong site was dug to what the contact had stated. I am still in the midst of discussions with the Cemetery office on how to rectify there error and amend or void the initial contract. And , I have not gone into the lack of organization regarding the after service paperwork that was not given to me, and their confusion on its whereabouts.

I worked with Omar on my pre-planning arrangements. He was kind, empathetic, extremely patient with all of my questions and really helped guide me through all of the decisions I needed to make. For this I would give him 5 stars. The issue I find is that now that the sale is complete and I've paid for all the arrangements in full, one almost becomes an after thought. I've been trying to finalize the design on the monument I purchased but I'm lucky if I get a reply to my question in the same week. Before I shelled out money, the experience was amazing but now it leaves something to be desired, which is disappointing. Planning your final resting place is difficult enough and the last thing one should feel like is a commodity until the deal is closed. I'm more than a little concerned if my loved one is going to have a difficult time dealing with the home once I pass, which defeats the purpose and reason for pre-planning.

She prepared for the burial of my father and helped me with the best service you could ever ask for. Knowing it was my first experience to prepare for a funeral. Beverley is warm-hearted and comforting during this difficult time. I couldn’t ask for anything else. If I could give this place negative stars i would. DO NOT BOOK WITH THESE PEOPLE. They don't care for the living or for the dead. Their customer service is absolutely horrid. We had a funeral on this date: First they double sold the plot selected and ONLY ADVISED LAST MINUTE that they double booked and there was no apologies in that regard. Secondly, the day of the funeral comes, and they realized that the plot selected was meant for 2 not for one. They made individuals wait for over 2 hours to dig deeper because they did not dig deep enough. They would not tell anyone what was going on and would not identified their wrongs. It takes literally 5 seconds to say sorry and fix customer service. As a result the minister left! The cemetery did nothing to acknowledge or take responsibility and as a result we were left with feeling we couldn't have a proper send off. All staff was absolutely terrible with their regard for those grieving. This place should be shut down. Death care services of those who passed should be done by professionals and this was not nor could be the place. And To further provide history, my aunt was buried here a few years ago and the grave was dug all dented and out of shape. It was very crooked. Overall, do not come here. Please go somewhere else.

Just awful, gave us promises of a tombstone being done in November 2018 it's June 2019 and there is still no tombstone. We even paid upfront on the day of the funeral, they have no respect of the process involved. If you're going to start shamelessly upselling greiving people you should deliver what you have promised.

Excellent management of my mom's home going ! My Funeral Director was Felicia Rosa Fenlong and she was amazing ! She gave expert advice re choosing the casket, walked us through deciding re cremation VS intact body, choosing the images and photos for the prayer cards and order of service. The end products were top class. The media team did a fabulous job with the slideshow. The array of services made it a seamless one stop process. The flowers were absolutely beautiful and perfect for what we had in mind. Response to emails and phone call queries were prompt and patient. The caring way in which the entire staff interacts with the grieving families was very comforting. My only concern was that the price and the process to send my mom home to Jamaica it seems that it wasn't something she was very familiar with and so the costing was quite off the mark initially and could have impacted our decision to cremate or not. However once we decided what we wanted to do she made sure to make the overall costing was the best she could do.

I am absolutely satisfied with how Francis Olivares put a lot of effort in helping my fiancé and I. My father in-law died about 2 years ago and this past winter with the snow his grave was caved in and the soil started to dry on top of the plate. I called and spoke to a lovely lady Francis who assured me that within a few days it was going to be fixed. We went to visit my father in-law a few days later and were very pleased to see that it was indeed fixed as promised. She even went as far as following up with us a few days after our visit. Thank you so much Francis for your courtesy, sympathy, and understanding.

Update to my original post: The Cemetery Director with whom I had originally been communicating did contact me after I posted here, and made every effort to expedite the carving of my brother's headstone. In fact, the carving was completed just the weekend before my sister arrived (visiting from Vancouver) and we attended my brother's grave site to place a floral tribute and for her to say her goodbye. I am grateful to LG for her work in ensuring that the contract had been completed to the satisfaction of me and my sister.

Attended a funeral for my Aunt a couple weeks ago, staff mouthed off when asked where the washroom was. You’d think if someone worked at a funeral home they’d be empathetic for those around them. The staff made the entire evening feel hostile, unwelcoming, and rushed. Felt like someone was pushing you out of the door as soon as we arrived. Would not recommend this funeral home to anyone

If i could give a 0 star review i would gladly. It's been a year and a couple of months since my dad was buried here and we still don't have a headstone up. The customer service agent Jeannie assured me she put a rush order on my dad's tombstone and even gave me her personal cell number to follow up. While that was nice of her. She never once replied to my texts asking for a status update. I see other people have their tombstones up but not my father. I need to lookup the plot number each time to see where exactly he was buried. What's worse is that i paid in full for the tombstone when he was buried. I thought it wouldn't have to deal with issues like this if i had done this. But here i am having to suffer not having a single slab of stone up. It baffles me the sheer negligence this cemetery has provided me and my family. I don't want this to happen to anyone else so please if you want peace of mind during this very difficult process for your family. Do not deal with this cemetery.

She ensured me that his funeral service would be wonderful and not to worry as she would handle everything. And she did! Onika was absolutely AMAZING and super professional and just on top of everything. She deserves a promotion!! This girl sets the perfect example of great outstanding customer care. Super compassionate and always checked to make sure that we were satisfied with my grandfathers arrangements. We just love Onika! She was the best!!!!!! Our first experience was with Omar back in 2014 and it was horrible. He took advantage of my grandparents and charged them thousands of dollars for something that they already paid for. Anyway, Onika made up for the family disappointment. Thank you Onika!!

Omar Khan and his team were very supportive. I started the planning long before our dear mom passed. He came to our home each time for paperwork and follow up. Omar also attended the burial services even though he did not need to. Thank you Omar. His Assistant spent a long time locating the plot in deep snow and took photos to ensure we can find it. We are forever grateful. The little things goes a long way. I like this cemetery and location - close to home. Relatives and eventually my final resting place.

Never go here. The man who handles the cemetery burials is a very disgusting human being. He tried to tell me that I couldn't bury my husband and get a headstone unless I purchased a double plot. I'm 31 years old and he wanted me to plan my funeral. I've buried my grandmother and know what it's all about. It takes a person with sympathy and a heart to do this job and he does not have either. He wore lots of flashy jewelry as if he was excited about his next commission check. I ended up using Glen Oaks in Oakville and they were great. Very kind and sincere. Steer clear of this place

My Family friends had a funeral there recently, and it was a horrible, traumatic experience. You would think because they are in a very sensitive industry they would work with the families, to ensure it is a smooth transition and the families needs are met. Unfortunately, it didn't come even close to that. Matter of fact the, director was arguing with the family members, and showed zero regard for the loss this poor family was going through. She was completely insensitive to the obviously situation that they were dealing with. I would never recommend anyone to have their final moment with their loved ones at this place. If I could give it a negative star I would.

All of the staff seem to follow under the same direction professional and kind and caring. A death is a very difficult to handle especially if it's your first. We contacted Brampton Funeral Home & Cemetery to take care of our mother's burial. Our representative that helped us was Francis Olivares (for the cemetery portion). She's very detailed, patient, respectful, understanding and accommodating. She exceeded all our expectations. As well as Vince Farano (on funeral portion). Both of them guided us thru the process all the way. Because of this excellent service, and unforgettable experience, we all have taken our last estate pre-planned with Brampton Funeral Home & Cemetery. Our family’s experience at a time of horrible grief was made so much better because of pre-planning director Francis Olivares. She was so incredibly compassionate and went above and beyond. Francis took our family to select a plot and got soaked in the pouring rain with us. At a moment when we felt like crying, we laughed together, soaked and cold. The service at Brampton Funeral Home left a lot to be desired. Although the staff were friendly and polite, my father's hearse was at the church instead of departing from our home with the family car. We had to call to have him at the home prior to the service. And, most importantly, the cards with photo and poem were completely missing from the service. Neither the driver nor the attendant present notified us and we did not realize until after the service was over. When the funeral home called the next day for payment, we advised them of the missing cards. We received an apology. No compensation or offer to help in mailing the cards to friends and family. The cards were not laminated either. At such a difficult time, we expected more.

We recently had to plan a funeral for my Father-in-law, it was a sudden death and we were thrown into a tornado of sad decisions to make. Felicia, the funeral director, was very kind, friendly and helped us through this heart wrenching process. From picking out the casket to deciding on the flowers, she made every decision managble to make. She even jumped in last minute as a pallbearer to carry the casket when my daughter couldn't do it. Horrible Service. These people dont know how to give respect to dead ones. All they care about is money. My father passed away over a year ago.its been over a year trying to get monument on his grave. paid all the money upfront. Every time i ask them all i get is Lies and BS. we are regular visit to my fathers grave so we know where it is but when my relatives come to visit and they cant find it and i have to face their questions and judgements about me. thx to poor service. extremelly disappointed with the management.

By far the worst service I have experienced in a very long time. Kathy-ann Charles (funeral home) and Linda (Cemetery) lack sensitivity, compassion and only give the impression that they want to make a buck and you or nothing else matters beyond that. Both treated myself and my family with disrespect through the entire process. Added on fees, where they had already been paid for, in addition to adding on items that were never requested. Three weeks later and we still cannot get an accurate receipt and bill of services rendered from them. There was confusion and disorganization from the start, especially from the cemetery. Not to mention that they sent two men to my elderly grandparents house months before and harassed them about collection additional money even though everything was paid in full 6 years prior. The cemetery refused to take responsibility for any of their actions. They take advantage of the elderly and the grieving all for their bottom line. I would not recommend this Funeral Home and Cemetery to my worst enemy. You and your loved ones deserve much more.
