After the sudden passing of my mother, Ilia was very helpful and patient helping me to navigate the pre-planned arrangements my mother had made and the decisions I had to make. Ilia, along with Joseph were always available through email, phone calls or in-person visits to answer questions or make any adjustments. It is evident that they have genuine sympathy for those suffering from a loss and their patience and attention to details made me feel calm and that my mother was in good hands. When different items arose that needed to be dealt with, the Manager, Geoffrey, was involved and contacted me personally. Overall, a very positive experience, despite the solemn nature. Thank you.

Mother-in-law preplanned with them, she thought she'd organized and paid for everything, but hadn't paid for cremation or the cemetery, and hadn't even arranged for her ashes to be buried with her parents; sure, she has some responsibility for this, but they're the professionals and should have been clearer talking her through the process. Then, when she died, they asked us if we wanted her to be cremated in "something special." We said no, and so she ended up being naked, which would have shocked her. A follow-up like, "What do you want her to be wearing, then?" would have made this much easier. They messed up the communications with the cemetery, rather than facilitating the documentation that was needed. Then we arrived to bury her ashes and the cemetery expected payment then and there, when the staff at Andrews had told us that they'd look after it and invoice us later. I'm a Christian clergyperson, and I deal with a lot of funeral homes professionally. These folks were sympathetic and kind, but simply didn't seem to know what they were doing.

Joe was very attentive, sensitive, and compassionate to our circumstances and was extremely helpful with planning and coordinating the services we required. We had to use his services once before and would recommend his guiding hand with these unfortunate services in hard times.

Very nice warm welcoming environment. The staff approached me as I was parking my vehicle. Everyone wore masks and gloves, obtained contact information per covid-19 protocols which was reassuring . The pews were socially distanced. Flowers were arranged beautifully at the front around the casket. Very nice people. I felt very comfortable there. Staff were professional and yet empathetic.

In both cases, their service - warmth, kindness, heartfelt sympathy, but also efficient and highly professional action - was absolutely excellent. I can’t say enough about their skillful handling of my loved ones, including ‘above and beyond’ transfer of our cousin’s cremains, from his original urn to the double urn so he could rest with his recently-passed mother - this meant a great deal to me, and it was done at no charge! It has been a couple of months since the passing of my mother on September 1, 2020. My father and I journeyed together to Andrews funeral Centre in Brampton with much sadness. The burden was on our shoulders. We were greeted by FD - Joe Angelini that day and our stress was immediately relieved as Joe stated he understands, will take good care of us and he kept his promise. We also met Geoffrey (Manager) that day with a warm greeting and reassurance that his staff will take proper care of us. Everything was seamless with the whole experience and the staff made it seem effortless. We also dealt with FD - Ilia who took over from Joe and ran just as fast with the baton of excellent customer service. The home was spotless and my mother would be very happy and impressed with the viewing and funeral. The communication and response was efficient yet caring at all times. Death of a family member is difficult in the best of times but add a Pandemic and this is amplified. The care that was taken by Andrews Community Funeral Center was amazing and particularly JOSEPH (JOE) ANGELINI. Joe made is feel so comfortable and quickly removed any anxiety we had. He listened patiently to our requests and provided us with assurance that everything would be taken care of - and it was!!!. Joe careful outlined our options and at no time did we feel rushed, pressured or "over-sold". We were allowed time to grieve and we respectfully sent my father off... The continued service and the assistance with the necessary paperwork has been an immeasurable help. Excellent Service!!! Thank you Joe.

We had to change the original contract that my Aunt had done because of situations that had changed. Joe was able to help me tremendously as I was working with him on this while I was still in Calgary. I can't express how much I appreciated Andrews going back into Toronto to get the clothing set out for her funeral and bring the items back to Brampton. Although this was the hardest thing our family has ever been through, this funeral Centre made it easier. Going into the facility and choosing things was made easy and without judgement or pressure. We were able to discuss our thoughts and ask questions freely. On the day of the service, everyone working was polite and welcoming. Because of Covid, we were only able to have 10 people in the chapel at a time. We were grateful for this and for the staff who would give gentle reminders when each time a lot was almost finished. The flower arrangements and casket lovely. They did a great job making him look so handsome. The paperwork to follow after the service was made very simple and stress free. From our family, we’d like to thank everyone who was involved in making this difficult time a little bit easier.
