I was very unimpressed to find that on Easter Sunday I was unable to visit my Dad. I realize that there is a pandemic going on but I also know that I can go to the grocery stores, the hardware stores, the drugstores even Dollarama but for some reason I can't sit alone with my Dad in the open air. Very unimpressed.

After entering a contest on Facebook. I received a call from Brett to discuss end of life arrangements. I arranged a zoom call with him and my husband to discuss this matter. Brett showed us all the options and even arrangemened a further date to design our monument. He helped us with everything and also fits our budget.

We had the funeral here at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens for my mom and everything was perfect. Carley took very good care of every detail and we really appreciated it. That being said we had my mom buried there at the cemetery and things did not go so smoothly. First they gave us the wrong cemetery plot number, secondly we purchased a winter wreath which was not put on the gravesite as promised and thirdly the headstone was not put on as promised by Mother’s Day. When I called to inquire about it they informed me that the headstone hadn’t even been ordered four months later since her passing and was still in the states and still had to be completed and then shipped up so I was looking for another five week wait. They admitted it was their error but it is very frustrating that so many things fell through the cracks and there is no follow up on their end. It also took me calling their office for three days before someone would help me. My dad will one day be buried there as well and I dread having to deal with the cemetery.

Hillcrest is a beautiful facility and the service was exemplary. However, your address is incorrect on your website, which made us late for a funeral. Please consider correcting it.

I cannot say enough about the staff at Hillcrest. If you're visiting here, it's obviously a difficult time for you and the staff here make you feel like everything will be okay. I completely recommend this place to anyone needing support through their loss.
