When my father passed away suddenly my mother and I were in complete shock and devastation but Yves was so patient compassionate and empathetic he proved he truly cares about the pain people are going through. He made my Dads funeral a wonderful celebration of his life. Yves was so patient with us and did a wonderful job arranging the pics on the video. Especially with the last pic bing my dad giving everyone the finger! That was so him! lol Yves had all the forms Mom would need to all ready for her and this made things easier for her. The way Len set up the room with all the extra pics and my Dad's quotes and license plate and flags and guitar was incredible. Ashley was amazingly patient with me and all of the last minute changes to the funeral card. The minister Glen Eagle was amazing, he followed our wishes of no religion exactly. He called up my uncles and myself to do our eulogy's and he kept the mood light. He had listened so intently as we talked about my father, that people at the funeral thought he knew my Dad personally from way back in his biker days. I cant thank you enough for making the worst time in our lives a lot easier to deal with. Oddly enough, and kinda nice to hear, many people said it was the best funeral they had ever been to. My Father would have liked to hear that! Thanks again, The Gray Family

The team there did a phenomenal job looking after my great aunts funeral. From the photo tribute they made to going as far as to pack up all the leftover food, they were truly wonderful

During the sudden passing of my father, Beckers funeral home compassionately walked us through the entire process. They were patient and kind when we asked so many questions, quickly made adjustments to things when we changed our mind or added something new. Yves and his team did an amazing job, we were always treated with kindness and respect and so was my dad. I do truly feel they went above and beyond to try and help us deal with this devastating situation.

My late mom had her service Jan 2022, and late dad 2007. Respect, dignity and kindness from all staff made this very hard time, easier to process and manage. Thank you MWBecker , we appreciate you.

My uncle passed 15 months ago and we had his (very basic) service here. To me it was just mediocre. My aunt passed on the 20th of Feb. My sister and I went to make the arrangements and the woman was very insensitive and condisending ....She smiled and laughed as we spoke, (Who does that when people are grieving) she asked us when we would like to have the viewing, we gave her a date, she said no it couldn't be that date( because we choose not to embalm auntie) So why ask if the answer to everything is a NO) Then she asked what time we would like to have the service, we asked what the latest time was, she said 4pm because they closed at 5pm (keep in mind this was a Friday) (we had family coming in from the city) So we choose the 4pm time slot.....At 4:10, I went outside and the woman asked me if we were expecting anyone else, to which I said yes, my husband and my children. This cold hearted woman told me we couldn't go past 5pm because they had another family/viewing.(I thought they closed at 5pm, liar) (I told her i was well aware of what time had to leave) First off she was cold and secondly she lied to me and thirdly she wasn't dressed appropriately for a funeral director! (stating they closed at 5pm) Not to mention she told one of our guests that we had to leave by 5pm. This was a very sad time for my family and i, (my aunt was like a second mother to us as she had no children of her own) self this woman didn't make our experience a pleasant one. I wouldn't recommend this place nor would I ever use their services again! Tammy White This was a very trying time for my sister and I and we didn't feel as though they were sensitive to our feelings. Most funeral directors are soft spoken, we'll dressed and sensitive given the circumstances.......We were not happy with these people nor were we happy with the services rendered! Chérie Lee White

When my father passed away suddenly in April, my siblings and I went to see Melissa & the Becker’s staff. Melissa was a godsend. She walked us through every detail, answering every question, & helping us with things we just weren’t sure of. With having such a positive experience in such a difficult time, my mother decided to preplan her arrangements. Melissa once again went above and beyond. Taking all the information and paperwork to her home. Also arranging for a representative from the Queensville Cemetery to attend with her. Once again thank you for making a difficult time a little more bearable.

My mother passed on 27 August 2017. One of the most heartbreaking and darkest times of my life. Yves Laroque, his wife Kim, and staff Melissa, and Len took very good care of my mom, from removal to committal service then reception;and; made my journey of grief less sad and a lot easier. I would highly recommend MW Becker Funeral Home When the unfortunate time comes that you have to make arrangements for your loved one’s. You will receive the utmost compassion, and professionalism. Thank you everyone at MW Becker Funeral Home from the bottom of my heart. Mike , Wendy, Evan, and Ethan. As a French Canadian, I also say Merci beaucoup.

After a sudden and unexpected loss of a family member, we were all in shock and trying to understand what had happened while needing to plan a funeral. We found no compassion, understanding or kindness in this funeral home. During these times we had only been allowed 10 people at the funeral, they ordered us way over 100 thank you cards and charged for each of these, knowing we couldn’t use them. They gave us no options, didn’t explain anything or assist in helping us understand the process. We didn’t expect our hands to be held, this is a business that they need to run but some compassion and explanation of our options would have been welcomed. We felt taken advantage off and brushed off during this process, had this not been so sudden we would have gladly went elsewhere for arrangements.

The building is beautiful inside and out. Every time we pass this home, we have fond memories of our daughters service. Our experience here took place over the Easter long weekend, and Yves was very accommodating over the holiday. He was calm and collected for us throughout the planning. He kept us informed of all the movements of our daughter as she moved from hospital, to funeral home, to morgue, back to the home. We had my uncle, who is a minister, conduct the service. Yves had a nice reception of coffee and tea ready for the 8 of us in attendance afterwards. We had decided to take our daughter home with us until we were ready to memorialize her in a plot. Yves was understanding of this. Follow up however, was the most surprising and touching part of this whole process. Yves is kind and wants nothing more then for you to walk away from this process with a little less of a heavy heart. The ease of everything is a great relief in your time of grief. Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts.
