They turned the tragic passing of my mother such a beautiful experience. Honestly, this was the best place I could have imagined and more to say goodbye to my mom. Peter was hands down amazing. I hope my children will one day experience my funeral the same way I did my mothers. They treated me with such compassion and they treated my departed mother with so much kindness and respect. My wife and I had no idea where to start when my father died and we had to bury him. We made a couple of calls and checked reviews of the funeral homes nearest to us in Newmarket. Next, we Then contacted Taylor Funeral Home and they immediately started to help us through the grieving process which is exactly what we wanted and needed. Once we sat down with Shannon (Funeral Director) all the stress, anxiety, worry, pressure, and lack of understanding subsided immediately. Shannon was caring, compassionate, understanding, calm, knowledgeable, pleasant and professional. I do not believe I could have imagined a person better suited for her part. She helped us (my wife and I) feel comfortable, confident and at ease. She walked us through the entire process. Even the cost and government papers. Shannon also made it very clear to us that she understood how important of a priority this was to us and that it was their job to first and foremost focus on making the experience and preparation of our loved one as easy on us as possible. On the day of the funeral, Brittany (Funeral Director) took care of everything. She had impeccable timing and was very professional. This lady is amazing! She left no stone unturned. Brittany prompted us through everything. From the time we arrived in their doors until we drove off from the burial ground to go home. Taylor! Taylor! Taylor! God bless you. I had recently had a funeral for my dad and my family had came to Taylor Funeral Home to help us with arrangements. I was quite happy with how it was planned and set up during COVID restrictions and times. The staff was very supportive, respectful and professional. They kept to a safe COVID policy to insure safety with hand sanitizer, mask, temperature checks and timed visits in the room with a maximum number of people allowed. If you're in the Newmarket area or nearby, highly recommend this place. They make it smooth and easy as possible in hard times.

We had a wonderful experience with Taylor Funeral Home. They treated us like family from the first time we met with Glenda to plan my husband’s funeral. Glenda was incredible and walked us through the entire process with such grace. She came to the hospice to help us with the plans before my husband died and detailed all of our options. Jason and his staff are absolutely amazing. The entire day of my husband’s memorial was absolutely beautiful and went smoothly. The entire team really works hard from start to finish and treats you like family. Even after the memorial they welcome you back and take the time to help you sort things out. Jason, I can’t thank you enough for all that your team did to help me honour my husband.

Absolutely wonderful, compassionate, caring and very experienced staff. Able to accommodate any reasonable request and planned an entire funeral the day before due to a sudden unexpected death of a young family member. Attentive to every detail; allowing us to mourn and grieve with minimal added stress. Can't recommend them enough esp Jason, who worked tirelessly from sunrise to sunset!

they took my friend in and kept his remains for three days first off with out explaining to his daughter the alternatives when it comes to government assistance when paying . most people these days have exhausted thier savings. secondly while holding him while she looked for alternatives didnt keep his remains in a proper cooler and then charged her 600$ for what they did which was nothing. im totally disgusted with this place and pray no one else needs to go through this.

I would like to express on behalf of my wife Catherine and the Vass family how we appreciated the exceptional service provided by Taylor Funeral Home in handling the complete process during the difficult times of Covid 19 etc...Our loved one, Noreen Vass, passed in Bloomington Cove in her final weeks. Once they were notified everything was put into play and handled professionally without hesitation. Communication was as smooth as one could have expected. Thanks to all the staff involved for making our grief much easier in a time of need.
