I am from GTA. The last wish of my late husband was to be buried next to his Father, in Alfred. Honestly, I was so scared that I would have a lot of problems considering the distance and my first experience with such an emotional and heart breaking matter. And I am so glad that one of my relatives advised me on this family business, Lamarre and Son Funeral Home. Jill Lamarre and Luc Lamarre are really very caring, knowledgeable, supportive and professional people. There are so many small and big details related to death of which I had no idea previously. Luc Lamarre advised and instructed me about all of them. The communication was excellent, I could call and email them ten times a day and any of my concerns or questions were responded to immediately. Needless to say, that all the paper work was done very fast and properly including all the benefits for the surviving partner. Moreover, Luc Lamarre had with me hours on the phone and sent me multiple pages instructions as to my role as an executor. The church service and the burial service were so beautiful and so well organized. I could not ask for better for my dear husband.Due to the pandemic the attendance was limited to 10 people but Luc Lamarre is so Internet and technically advanced that he made an excellent live stream from the church and more friends and relatives could virtually attend the funerals for my husband. I was provided with the video recording as well. There was no charge for that. As for the pricing for their services I had to mention that it was very fair, very clear, very affordable and without any hidden fees that is so much appreciated as well. As a matter of fact I had a strong feeling that I was treated by Lamarre and Son not as a customer but rather like a dear friend who is coping with the loss and in a need for helping. I got so much support and care from Jill Lamarre and Luc Lamarre I am so grateful for. Without any hesitation I would recommend Lamarre and Son Funeral Home to anyone who needs help with the funerals in this area.
