It was fantastic experience with Henderson's funeral home. That staff was very helpful and patient, and were there to answer any questions. Having their help with the off site ceremony meant we had to do a little less planning knowing they had their part handled. They were nice and respectful, and there was no pressure to hurry or any sales pressure when choosing options.

There's a reason this place is well known and has high reviews. They take good care of you and make the process as easy as possible, which is important when you are grieving a loss. I was impressed that we were able to get all the paper work done and they were able to give me the death certificate immediately. This allowed me to start handling my Father's affairs right away...And cremation was ready in about a couple of weeks. They are a very compassionate team and don't rush you out of there when you meet with them. Thank you so much!

I can't believe i didn't write a review. People i am from a different country far from Canada. When my brother passed away and we were powerless during COVID to travel there, Henderson's funeral home took care of us. They followed up everyday when we didn't know a single thing on how things work there and helped my family to see his last rite on stream. We are from Hindu religion and they managed to get a priest for us. The director and the staff are awesome people and they will help you in every way you can imagine. I'm writing this review after several months, but i can't thank you enough for everything you did for us and for him. Thank you again.

They absolutely mismanaged my mother's funeral. Neglected to mention important information. Caused my whole family into a state of fighting each other over my mom's remains and consumer protection BC ended up fining them over it. DO NOT USE THEM. they lied constantly about what happened and never even had the decency to apologize. It's been over a year since my mom passed and my family is still not speaking because of the mess they made. The director didn't even know how to play music during the video tribute and I had to do it myself because he couldn't work the computer/sound system they had. Absolute nightmare. Google Henderons and Consumer Protection and the pdf of what they did should come up by the way. Update: The comment below isn't from Bonnie. I just spoke to her and she had no idea it was even left. She told me she couldn't comment on what happened but it had "been dealt with" and refused to offer even any kind of apology at all. She told me I could talk to upper management but then told me she had to cut me off and wouldn't give me their number and told me to file with Consumer Protection again and then hung up on me. Absolutely dying of laughing over what a horrible person she is. She lied to consumer protection during the original complaint in an attempt to save face. Wow.

Brad was authentic in expressing his condolences; he appeared to be genuinely interested in our sharing of our memories of my mom. He listened to our stories of who my mom was in life and how much she meant to our family. He took the time to listen, pause, and, yes allow for tears, as one would expect after loosing a parent, and a spouse to my 82 year old father who had been married to my mom for 56 years. Thank you for carrying us on this day, in making the necessary arrangements, and for making a difficult situation more bearable. It was very much appreciated Brad. Based on our positive experiences, I would be happy to recommend Henderson's.

WORST PLACE IN THE WORLD!!! Despite having a will, despite getting that will proven that it was the deceased writing, they allowed a STRANGER to claim common law. Despite legal documents stating that the deceased was single they allowed this STRANGER to STEAL a families loved one. They refused to answer their phones to family members, they refused to talk to the executor of the will. They have NO empathy, and are running a very shady business. DO NOT send your loved ones here.
