Tenaya and Rebecca were outstanding. They came over to pick up all the items I wanted at the service.And even returned everything after the service . Tenaya responded immediately to many questions I had. She texted me even on her day off and out of work hours. She contacted Rebecca when she wasn't at work several times to adhere to my requests or concerns.Tenaya went above and beyond for me. She never used the word no, she always tried her best to accommodate me. Tenaya and Rebecca worked very hard on the obituary page and with the video. Everything turned out perfectly.Tenaya is a true gem. I consider her a friend for life. She is one of a kind, extremely empathetic, detailed, compassionate, hard working, and dedicated to her job. I was extremely happy with the services that I received and I will gladly recommend Forest Lawn to other family members and friends when the need arises. Thank you❤️

Hameed was our funeral director for the funeral service we held at Forest Lawn. Although we do not want to be frequent customers, we cannot recommend Hameed enough. We felt he went above and beyond, was incredibly responsive, and made the whole process painless. He was with us every step of the way and right until the very end even when we held the inurnment ceremony at Ocean View Cemetery.

Seems to me due to us being unable to pay top dollar we were not a priority. If your looking to have staff literally race/speed her car flashy Cadillac throughout the Memorial Park (I could hardly keep up) rushing to showcase the spots remaining.. and offer to send an email with pricing and then never email the documents promised; even after 24 hours very well knowing we had hours of life on the table.. and even with another emailed requesting for the pricing as promised. No follow up, one returned email stating "tomorrow" and still nothing three days later; is the place to go! During a time of grief I would expect more compassion.

The team at Forest Lawn Memorial made the most difficult time in our life a much easier experience. Hameed is an amazing Funeral Director - communication from him throughout the entire process was clear and professional, and he expressed so much empathy and kindness with us and all our guests. Tenaya and Hameed put our family at ease. The day of the service, Hameed explained the processes very clearly. Many guests commented on how well he explained and the professionalism of the staff and efficiency of the grounds staff. Tenaya helped greatly in explaining and assisting with paperwork that needed to be done for benefits etc. Something that we didn't think about. A great help to our family. On behalf of the Chou Family, I want to thank Gabrielle Toth and the Forest Lawn staff for the excellent service, which we have received with respect to my late father, Ronnie Kuo Sheng Albert Chou. From our initial meeting through to the moment my father laid at his final resting place at Forest Lawn cemetery; Gabrielle was thorough, considerate, and accommodating in ensuring that all of our needs were addressed and fulfilled. It is of particular importance to recognize that Gabrielle’s efforts and care in attending to all aspects of our funeral arrangements were not diminished by the numerous challenges and obstacles due to Covid-19 restrictions and limitations. Our family was assured that attendees would be safe throughout the duration of all services as a result of the pandemic measures Gabrielle and her staff outlined and executed. Although, the passing of my father is a difficult time, we were comforted by the fact that the entire Forest Lawn Funeral Home & Cemetery process was conducted in professional and thoughtful manner. Thank you to Lina & Ilish for the impeccable service and arrangements both provided for my father’s visitation. From the second I called I was greeted with helpful and nice people. I had no idea on what to do I just knew my grandma had dealth with forest law in the past. The lady's there were very helpful. They helped arrange a pickup of my grandma. Then were helpful with the next steps. So grateful to get Gemma as our director she went over everything and made the decision easy.

Our mom passed away in late June. She was the first person in our immediate family so my dad and 2 sisters were clueless as to what needs to be done. The employees at Forest Lawn are so compassionate that it made this process easier and we cannot thank your team enough. From the moment we’d called to make our mom’s final arrangements to laying her ashes in her permanent resting place, we were greeted with empathy and sincerity. Our funeral director, Jesse, is the kind of person you want to help with this process. He is compassionate, detail oriented, and proactive. Jesse always calls a few days before any appointments or procedures to make sure everything is as our family wanted and to answer any questions we may have. He is always one step ahead in the planning process. Jesse is definitely the right person for this under-appreciated profession. He and the whole team at Forest Lawn made our mom’s passing a lot more bearable. We thank the team and especially Jesse for your time and compassion and wish everyone to be safe and healthy during this pandemic.

My whole family is in forest lawn my mom and my 2 sisters who are buried together they passed away at different times I'm no stranger when it comes to funerals my dad passed away in November of 2020 and being the sole survivor I had to plan my dads funeral by myself I couldn't have had a better funeral director than Tenaya she was so patient with me as she knew the family history i felt a real connection with her really wouldn't have made it without her help

No one would like hassles or complications under circumstances like this - with a death in the family. The Forest Lawn Funeral home staff have done an amazing job in making everything worry free. With the current Covid19 situation, lots of limitations have been placed towards group gathering such as a funeral, we are thankful that the Forest Lawn Funeral Home staff are able to work with us to close the social distance gap by allowing virtual religious ceremony broadcasting. This has made possible for a lot of our close friends and family, so that they can join the service without having to worry about anything. My mother's friend went here to make arrangements for herself. She has already gone back twice to sign papers because they somehow lost her information twice already and they are now asking her to come back again a third time because they have "lost" her file/information/signature again. Cheques were already handed over and she was not given any receipts when asked. Very suspicious.
