The staff at Parkland Funeral Home in Stony Plain was excellent. We were treated with respect and dignity. The staff made a difficult process easier & were very accommodating. We did not have the services there but there was no pressure to do more. Prices were reasonable and everything was explained. The staff still helped me months later. Jeanni helped to fill out government paperwork soon after my husband passed away. It was very helpful. She also helped me months later when I had questions about how to transfer boat ownership. Tanisha was our funeral director & she was wonderful. Our family members were treated with sensitivity and compassion. I asked Tanisha to keep the ashes there until I was ready and there was no problem with that. When I went to pick up the ashes everything was arranged ahead of time. Overall everyone was professional & courteous. They made a hard time in my life a little easier.

The service here was incredible! Jeanni went over and above to help my family out when my grandmother passed away. I have since had a meeting with her about pre-arranging and she was so informative and helpful. Love that fact that she was so knowledgeable about what our options were and was never overly pushy just to make a sale. Would definitely recommend these guys.

Losing my mother was the saddest day of my life, I lost my best friend so making her Cremation arrangements wasn’t something I was looking forward too, But even though, I went and met with Dwight he was so nice and very understanding, he explained everything to myself and my children and made me feel as ease with all my mothers arrangements. I know no one wants to lose their love ones but if this day ever comes I would recommend Parkland Funeral Services the staff are really friendly and helpful they even help me with all my mothers paperwork for her pensions and trust me that was a load off my mind.

They do not rush, pressure or intimidate you. The process is seamless. They are very sympathetic and kind. Their package options are a nice added touch. Dwight and TJ are exceptional men to deal with. So compassionate and caring not only about those impacted but your loved one they are preparing. This is not an easy role dealing with grieving families but these men are by far top notch.

Randee was amazing. She was caring, kind and helpful. We have never had to deal with anything like this before, and she was so kind to help us make the difficult decisions. She had plenty of information for us, and helped by explaining it so that we could understand and were comfortable to make the tough choices.
