My wife and I wanted to do funeral preplanning to ease our own mind and be helpful to our kids when the time arrived.We where able to make an appointment on a saturday with Venessa and she was pleasant and extremely helpful and answered all our questions and was able to direct us in the direction we were wanting to go with our planning.She took the time and didn't rush us which was appreciated.We are satisfied with all we where able to accomplish.Vennessa did a good service for us.Five stars

She took us on a full tour of this beautiful cemetery and taught us how each section has a beautiful meaning. It is so peaceful and angelic. A place my mom and I will love to be placed in. I lost my dad to stage 4 lung cancer in late march this year. Times were tough as it was as we were right in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic. The staff made everything so seamless, and their kind words and thoughtfulness lifted a load off my chest. This 5 star review however, goes to Brody Latter. After 7 months, I decided to visit my dad today, my birthday. I had called Brody earlier during the day to find out where my dad’s grave was, he had emailed me a map and told me that I could call him if I ever needed anything. When I arrived, I looked for 30 minutes and had quite a hard time trying to find where my dad was, after quite some time I decided to stop at the information centre to find out they were closed and everyone was out of office. I gave Brody a call while he was on his way home driving on the highway after a day of work to his family, and explained I was having trouble locating where my dad was. Brody did not hesitate to turn around and drive all the way back to help me. His kindness today had really turned my day around. It’s heartbreaking not having your dad present on your 18th birthday, but Brody’s kind heart really made it so much better for me. We need more people like him in this world.

I couldn’t visit the office, due to several factors; so, as a follow-up to an ongoing file, Constantine Platis offered a house visit. We then set a suitable time and kept in touch by phone and email. Constantine arrived exactly on time, and we spent the next hour, reviewing arrangements already made, including certificates and receipts, issued some time ago, for the plot and memorial; The purpose of our meeting was to discuss the next phase, and Constantine readily answered my concerns, in a straight forward manner. He very clearly outlined what Arbor Memorial offered at the time of passing; and we agreed to a further visit from him within 60 days, to finalize the handling of my passing. Prior to his departure, I was given complimentary documentation, enabling my estate to have an exceptionally light administrative load, when the time comes. Constantine, in my opinion, exemplifies the great customer service, present at Mountainview Funeral Home & Cemetery; enabling planning for one’s farewell, well in advance; including a visit at one’s home, if the need arises.

This location is beautiful I have been coming here for 8 years to visit my friend. The staff has always been super nice and helpful. However today we got stuck in a procession while visiting out friend. We noticed someone we thought must work for the funeral home walking around the area and he looked at us multiple times but never came up and actually talked to us. It made me uncomfortable having someone just staring at us while we were talking with our friend at his grave. It also made me feel awful that we got stuck in a procession which I might add our car got boxed into. On our way out we noticed the smallest sign saying there was a funeral procession happening at 12:20 but it was not there beforehand. I'm hoping this kind of occurence doesn't happen in the future. You don't have to tell someone to leave but a little notice instead of just staring at us would have been nice. This is under the assumption that the gentlemen was staff but I think he was because that sign wasnt there before hand as well as he was directing people where to park.

The grounds are in terrible shape - grass so very and brown; does not appear to have been cut recently. No more flowers when you drive in - replaced by wood chips. The cedars along the road are brown. They apparently have money to spend on new building but not to upkeep the existing spare.
