Quite possibly one of the worst organizations I have ever encountered. I have dealt with this place a few times, all unfortunately for deaths in the family. For the death of my brother and grandmother, they were a solid "meh". The main reason for my review right now is the death of my step-father. My mother was obviously devastated by the loss of her husband, my father in law. Because she has several plots / interments pre-purchased at Holy Cross, we continued to use them. They were SO HORRIBLE, I was so angry for my mother. Among a massive amount of making life difficult for her, during her most incredible time of need, are things like not putting chairs out. We arranged to have the internment of her husband, with around 25-30 guests, and were told on the phone that they would take care of "everything". Upon arriving 45 minutes before the service, we were told that they would not be setting out chairs because it "wasn't worth it". The person we had arrive early, just in case, therefore had to have chairs moved to place before people arrived. We were also told, very strongly, that we MUST move them all back or else we will be invoiced for the effort. This is a further slap in the face both to my mom in her time of need, and considering the fact that we own a ton of plots within this facility. Totally unacceptable. I honestly have a pretty low set of expectations for most services, but Holy Cross went above and beyond to cause undue pain and suffering for my mother. I would compel anyone with other options to exercise them. Either this facility doesn't care, or the people they have in places of management don't. Either way, totally unacceptable. Shame on them and the people they trusted to run this abhorrent establishment. Stay away at all costs.
