Very helpful, empathetic and thorough - professional and caring during our difficult time.
McInnis and Holloway Fish Creek Chapel provided wonderful, professional service after the death of my father. Everything went very smoothly and I felt calm through the whole process. They were open to any request that I made, and never rushed me at any meeting. All were friendly, compassionate, and patient. I can not say enough good about their team and all they did for our family. Thank you so much!
I would have never imagined such great service but they really pulled through for us. Loss is a terrible thing and when our father died it really was a big blow. Their assistance right from the beginning and guidance helped us get through the funeral. We are truly grateful for your service and support.
We want to pass along a HUGE thank you to McInnis and Holloway for your outstanding work on how our mom looked for the viewing we had this morning. She looked exactly how we envisioned her to look plus more ! Thank you !

All our family wish to thank the very kind folks we encountered during our period of grieving. Starting with Kurtis Rae and continuing on throughout your organization, we were treated with the utmost courtesy, respect and friendliness. Jeff Grunenwald stopped by our home yesterday and from our conversation I felt very comfortable. Ross, Brenda, and Allen Perigoe

Thank you to all the individuals involved in the service yesterday, especially the ladies in the kitchen. From start to finish these ladies worked tirelessly with a smile. Keeping the food and beverages stocked, food on the table refreshed with great presentation and assisting with any special needs. I have in years past worked in hotels and banquets and these ladies were above and beyond fantastic! Please convey my appreciation for a professional job very well done!
Superb customer service from the moment we made an inquiry until the post-funeral paperwork. The facilities for the viewing and funeral service were top-notch. They were constantly in touch to make sure all arrangements are to our satisfaction. We commend them for their attentive attention to our needs and the little touches that demonstrate their genuine concern and sympathy for us.

Everyone we dealt with at McInnis & Holloway were very professional and considerate. They made dealing with a difficult situation easier, and were also very comforting to us. It takes special people to work in this field - thank you for being there!!
I was so glad that I picked this branch of McInnis and Holloway. They made my worst time more bearable. Highly recommended
My experience at Mcinnis and Holloway, unfortunately, was unlike others. First of all, from the very start, I did not want a service. I simply wanted my son cremated and I wanted to take him home. I come from a beyond dysfunctional family and I felt that there would be trouble if I had a service. I was greatly coerced by the funeral director and against my better judgement I agreed to a service. I suspect McInnis and Holloway made more money to have a service rather than just the cremation. At the time, I was arranging the funeral on the premise that there was no will. I tried to keep the service small, however word got out, a will surfaced and I was unable to take my son's ashes. The funeral director stated to me that he had spoken with the executrix and my son's wishes were to be scattered at the beach in Kitsilano where he grew up. I was fine with that. My son's ashes sat at McInnis and Holloway for 15 months. With each passing month the funeral director became increasingly disrespectful. The executrix finally picked up the ashes but has not abided my son's wishes and at the present time I know not what became of my son's ashes. I approached McInnis and Holloway to write a simple affidavit stating their knowledge of my son's wishes which would have allowed me to pursue the executrix and retrieve my son's ashes, but they refused. At the present time they are ignoring all my phone calls. I firmly believe that there are laws of the universe that need to be respected. If we we defy those laws, if we upset the natural order of life and death the consequences can be catastrophic. The woman who is/was in possession of my son's ashes and has not respected his wishes has been in the hospital with Lupus flare-ups for most of the year. I, the mother, will live for the rest of my life with this painful thorn in my side. Finally, McInnis and Holloway has tarnished their good reputation. They must live with the knowledge that they had an opportunity to put a soul to rest, a soul that passed through their funeral home, but they refused. The universe is a powerful entity and nothing good ever comes of defying it.
Chapel of the Bells Funeral Services were exceptional in every way. They lifted the entire burden of organizing all aspects of our son Mark's funeral from our shoulders and took charge of everything in exact accordance with our wishes. We felt confident we were in the hands of a team of professionals every step of the way. Nothing was overlooked or glossed over. They were thorough, knowledgeable, sensitive, friendly, courteous, flexible, helpful, practical, respectful, competent, efficient and reliable. I cannot find even the smallest thing to criticize or where they were lacking in any way. Chapel of the Bells is a beautiful, peaceful facility and their services are superlative; we were treated like VIPs from the first phone call and our relationship continues until the Memorial Tree Planting, Wall Engraving and beyond. I no longer have any fear about my own death and my family knows that this is where I want my funeral arrangements to take place. I can highly recommend Chapel of the Bells to everyone. They will take care of any funeral, from the smallest, informal gathering to the most elaborate and formal with the same attention to detail and compassion. With heartfelt gratitude, Hudson family and friends.

While planning a funeral for a loved one is not an easy time or something anyone wants to be doing, the staff at McInnis & Holloway were amazing. They responded to every inquiry right away, treated us with kindness and compassion, and did everything humanly possible to help us through this difficult task. I am so grateful to them.
I can’t say enough about my experience with McInnis & Holloway. Their service was exceptional! They took care of everything, which made the whole process so easy and almost stress free. Everyone I dealt with was so helpful and knowledgeable! I highly recommend them!
We recently used the services of McInnis and Holloway Fish Creek. Everything went smoothly and the staff were respectful, and caring and they carried out our wishes in a timely manner. Overall they were a pleasure to deal with.
The people at Mcinnes and Holloway (Fish Creek Location) are truly top notch. My children and myself were able to spend as much time as we needed with my husband who passed on in Dec. I never felt rushed at anytime and found that they truly cared about my feelings. They came in and made sure that any of my needs were looked after. Everything including last minute changes to the service folder, medallions, etc were not a problem. It takes time to get this right and they understood that there would be changes. It does take a special person to work in this industry and these people are special. Planting a tree in the forest with a plaque will give our family a place to go. Thank you
My review is strictly in regards to that of MHFH Graphics Department. Our family spent an extraordinary amount of time and effort in collecting photos (343 photos) to be prepared for the deceased’s photo montage. We were beyond disappointed and frustrated to see that the photo montage was extremely short (~40 photos). In our email correspondence with MHFH, they clearly stated there was no limit on the number of photos, nor made any effort to subsequently advise there would be any issue in getting through all 343 photos we sent. In fact, the emails acknowledge receipt of all the photos and instructions on our requested timing and order. As you can imagine, during such a difficult time, the montage was a key part to showcasing the deceased’s life. I voiced my concerns after the fact and never received a response. Moving forward I suggest acting in a professional manner and taking more care in correspondence and fulfilling your obligations. Should you care to contact me to discuss this further, my email and contact details are in the multiple emails we exchanged.

Words cannot convey how appreciative Bob and I are of everything you did to ensure that Al “The Coach”, our dear brother and brother-in-law, had the most incredible service and final goodbye we have ever attended. Special thanks to Jim, Brad, Leanne and all of you that helped us through the most difficult week of our lives. We will be forever grateful for the amazing work and your tireless efforts to ensure that Al’s service will be remembered by all who attended. Pastor Gorman ,your comforting prayers, psalms, words and stories of Al that you shared, was as though you knew him personally and our hearts are so touched by the amazing presence and warmth you exuded. You are a very special man and we will never forget you. In friendship, gratitude, and peace always Cindy and Bob.
Our entire family would like to thank the very kind people at both your Fish Creek location, where we planned the service and had the viewing, and the Chapel of the Bells location where the service was held, for my husband's funeral. This was obviously a very difficult time for our family. Phil at your Fish Creek location helped us pick the arrangements and was very professional and knowledgeable, Matt our limo driver was wonderful - he was so helpful and kind. Brent (Chapel of the Bells location) was very thoughtful and caring. Tye & the other people in your printing and graphics department were so accommodating and compassionate, including when we needed to send in last minute revisions to our PowerPoint presentation. Lastly, Wayne came out following the funeral to assist me with paperwork and administrative item support - this service helped to guide me through some things I may not have thought to address. We want to acknowledge and express our sincere gratitude in that we were always treated with the utmost courtesy, respect and kindness. This was one of the most difficult days of our lives and with the help of your staff we were able to focus on supporting family and each other rather than worrying about any of the details of the funeral. Thank you for your professional and courteous service. We will be forever grateful to you, thank you.
