Recently Fantin's was given 4 days notice of a funeral for an elderly woman who had died in the US and was to be buried in the Crowsnest Pass. There were complications at the border which meant she didn't arrive in Calgary until the night before the funeral was scheduled, during a huge snowstorm. The funeral director drove through the storm to get the body, arriving back in the middle of the night. This was to accommodate the family and their travel arrangements, and the funeral went ahead as planned. The services rendered there were very caring and helpful, adding to the exceptional effort beforehand to make sure the woman arrived to be buried according to her wishes.
