Got an interview by Mike Fricker. Waited two weeks until second interview. Got call from Marie for second interview, was very rude I fealt rushed and like she was wanting to get it over with. She told me can we just get this booked! When I asked for a Callander invite. If I brushed her the wrong way, why would she book me in, in the first place smh . Anyways I get there and waited for her to enter the room and such a negative vibe came off of her. She make you purposely feel intimidated. I fealt like she was a soul sucking person. Very rude and I'm happy I don't work there because I'd be settling as I don't chose to work with such rude people

Please run the other way from this place. My neighbor has just lost her husband of 58 years, has has nothing but lies told to her, staff in the office have been avoiding her, and has been told numerous lies about her late husbands headstone. Has been told numerous stories of when it will be delivered, was told today it was dropped and damaged!! How does that happen? Was told by the office that it happened this morning before we got there, but that was just another lie upon lie as when we were leaving, the UPS driver was just pulling in! Was told that it came yesterday, she had no follow up from anyone. The grounds are just so beautiful but please run the other way from dealings with the office. The staff were very cold and had no sympathy at all. I will be steering everyone I can away...

I was disappointed that when they pulled up my parents preexisting headstone and tilted the headstone in preparation for the graveside burial they did not clean off the caked on mud. When calling to let them know of this misstep they said that is NOT something they do. So just know when a second parent (person) dies you need to go to the cemetery to make sure the headstone is readable and attractive for the graveside service. Someone there could have told us that was our responsibility. It never even occurred to me to bring water and and cloth to clean the headstone for the service. There was a burial directly beside our plot quite recently as there were still wilted flowers on the grass and fresh grass cuts. The dirt would have been put on our headstone during this burial. The whole situation seems ridiculous to me.

Nothing but a scam. Pre-planning a joke. Took thousands from my father, who pre- paid for cremation and urns for my sister and I. He passed this morning and now they say they want more money, the cremation is not covered, and we will not be getting the urns he paid for. Be very careful with these scam artists/ liars. If you can possibly use a different funeral home, I highly recommend you do so.

Overall we are very pleased with the service we have received at Eden Brook, especially from Corinne Wiebe. Several years ago when my dad passed away, Corinne treated my mom and I with genuine compassion and kindness. Emotionally it was a very difficult time, yet Corinne gently walked us through in choosing the arrangements for my dad, and she was there for us on the day of his burial. Since then, my mom and I have sat down with Corinne to make our own pre-planned arrangements. With her usual professionalism and kindness, she again made the process so easy. Eden Brook Funeral Home are such a welcoming group for us. I belong to the Spring Bank Ladies Time Out Group and we meet here every Monday morning from mid September to early December and then mid January to early May. The facilities are wonderful and we use most of the rooms for our classes. This is such a great place to meet ladies that live in your area. I would like to thank Eden Brook for allowing us to use their facilities. It has been such a great experience and I love how they are giving back to the community.

When our youngest son passed away, we chose to use Eden Brook Funeral Home. We were not able to hold a service for 7 months due to Covid, however from our first contact right after he passed until his Celebration of Life, the care and attention given to our son, as well as to all of our questions, concerns and needs was amazing. Our desire to have a service where our son's friends and "chosen family" would feel as comfortable as possible was clearly heard - we had his service in the reception area rather than the more formal chapel environment. The comments from people who attended in person and who watched the live feed were all similar: "perfect", "beautiful", "unique" and that they felt they got to know our son even better. The setting at Eden Brook inside and out is so beautiful and serene, comforting. We have such deep gratitude and appreciation for our funeral director, Shannon, and the entire team who helped us through this very difficult time.

Planning a Farewell Service for a loved Family member is never an easy process, particularly in this year with all the Covid related restrictions. Despite these challenges, Shannon and Teresa were simply outstanding in all their help and support to our family as we coordinated our Farewell to our special Mother. Their care, support, and attention to detail was incredibly professional, encouraging and heartfelt, which was comforting to all of us!

Met with Emily Braun concerning funeral arrangements for a friend that requests his body be sent out of Canada at his death. This created a number of questions that we had as to what the procedures were for this request to be fulfilled. Emily walked us through the required steps very carefully explaining each step clearly. She was very careful to make sure that my friend understood these steps and agreed to them as he is not from Canada. We were both very satisfied with her council and preparing the arrangements for this funeral. I would recommend Emily to anyone who is making arrangements for a funeral at Eden Brook Funeral Home.

This is a review that needs to be written. My 84-year-old mother with several health issues decided that she wanted to pre-plan her services to alleviate the stress on her three children. A few years ago she requested Edenbrook Funeral Home to look after her final arrangements. Just very recently I emailed them for information and conversed back-and-forth with Charlie Emery. What an amazing young man! When I asked if he could come to my mothers apartment instead of us travelling there because mom needs to use a walker, he happily accommodate my request, not once but twice. He made the whole process very comfortable and explained everything in great detail. He was fantastic! He was young and knew the business inside and out and I would highly recommend Charlie Emery as well as Eden Brook funeral home for your final destination! Our family has used the services of Eden Brook Funeral Home & Services on 4 separate occasions over the past 27 years and have found the staff to be caring, compassionate & extremely professional. Eden Brook is a very serene, peaceful place with exquisite views of the foothills. Over the years from 1994 to present day we have laid wreaths at the gravesite and a niche every year. Corinne is always the person that we have a very good repour with, when we arrive each year to order our wreaths she doesn't ask who is requesting her services, she always knows just based on the time of year. It is a real joy & comfort to know that we are very well taken care of each year when we come in to order. The staff is always friendly & always have a smile when greeting us & that is very important to us. Corinne has always welcomed us with open arms & a smile, always knowing what our order is going to be. To us that is a great comfort. I just wanted to say I have been so grateful for Eden Brooks great., kind, caring wonderful service! My mom had purchased a plot there many years ago and when she passed quite suddenly a couple of years ago we had Corinne help us with the final arrangements. The support and customer service we received was above and beyond from Corinne and staff. I live in Nova Scotia and can't always be there but often send flowers which Corinne kindly places on my moms grave for me and always forwards a photo. I truly feel I have a friend at my moms resting place! The place my mom chose is beautiful and right by a golf course, my moms favorite pastime, and a view of the mountains off to the west. When we laid her to rest it was the first time I was there and honestly I found it so beautiful and peaceful. I go for visits whenever I am home and love my visits there. I also plan to be cremated and laid to rest with my mother and can't imagine a more beautiful, peaceful, serene setting! Thank you Eden Brook and Corinne for making a difficult time a bearable one and the continued support! Grateful too for the recommendation for flowers from Divine Creations. This cemetery is truly beautiful. We knew that this is where we wanted our father to rest. Going through something like this is extremely overwhelming but we had planned ahead and it made the process much easier. Once we had made an official appointment, we were introduced to Heather. Heather, was extremely lovely, patient and considerate. She provided all the information we needed to know, and was able to answer all the many questions we had for her.
