Jo is incredibly talented and intelligent massage therapist. She has helped me with many problems in the past demonstrating skill and expertise beyond reproach. She's taken some of the most tenacious knots out of my back and calves and isn't afraid to give the force it takes to work out those deep knots. I easily recommend her if you're looking for a massage.

I had Miss Argatoff come to my West End apartment for a mobile massage for a two hour session and was amazed at her level of skill and professionalism. I've had a lot of issues with my lower back as well as upper shoulders from work and old injuries and she knew exactly where to go. Most therapists I know have been too tentative, but she used the right amount of pressure and was able to sustain it throughout the entire session. I was impressed and, most importantly, felt relief for the first time in years. I could not recommend her highly enough.

I found Joanne at Balance online. Joanne is quiet, reassuring, yet can apply a great deal of pressure on sore areas, as required. For a first appointment, I felt very much at ease and felt much better during and after the massage. Joanne has a lovely, warm manner. I highly recommend her.

Don't listen to any of these reviews. I don't know if they're shills or what. I went and it was a terrible excuse for a massage. She kept slipping off the muscles like an amateur. I've been to numerous places around the city and this was, by far, my worst experience. I'm not angry. I just don't want others to be duped by the glowing reviews like I was.

I highly recommend seeing Joanne over at Balance. She was incredibly thorough, did everything I asked, and had a wonderful touch. I often find massage therapists don't use enough pressure, but that was not a problem with Joanne! I will definitely be going back.

I’ve been to over 70 countries on 6 continents. Because of some persistent neck pain/tension, I’ve gone to masseuses in almost all of these countries. Joanne is the best RMT I’ve ever had. Thoughtful and professional, she has a deep understanding of how to address tension and reduce pain. I wish people around the world were half as well trained as her!

Joanne is a fantastic RMT. What I particularly appreciate about Joanne is that she is open to feedback based on what I enjoy. She also is knowledgeable about the muscles, bones, joints, ligaments in the body, and I can vouch for this is as I am a kinesiologist. She is able to give a very strong and deep massage due to her ability to incorporate her leg strength and arms/hands into the massage. Joanne is also friendly and a pleasure to deal with. I certainly encourage you to try her out for yourself. Highly recommended.
