I was unsure how virtual therapy would work. It is an awesome concept. The first few weeks I was unable to even drive, so not leaving the home was wonderful. Tyler provided excellent care, as did their occupational therapist. We were able to do full assessments, describe issues and work through exercises and problems just as if we were in the office. I would highly recommend Lifemark and their physiotherapy and occupational therapy.. Their Virtual care is a really great idea, not just with Covid being so active, but for the convenience of not having to leave the house when you are struggling with mobility and pain issues.

I've been a patient here for over a year and Tyler, Katie, Austin, and Kara have been absolutely great. They work well with me and even though sometimes I get a little grumpy, they are making me work hard to make me better. They all love torturing me! (All in fun!) I visited this clinic in Fonthill many times in the past year, beginning with OHIP coverage after both hip and knee surgery. The treatment I received was excellent and I was able to heal completely. I tend to write reviews for two reasons only. Either the institution was stellar or extremely poor. Lifemark in Fonthill is the stellar. The staff we interacted with were all fantastic. Our time, schedules and personal comfort were always the first considerations. Our appointments always started and finished on time, but we never felt rushed. All of the practitioners we encountered were extremely knowledgeable and capable. The shining star is Trevor, the clinic director. My wife needed physio for an ongoing condition and found Trevor to be the only physiotherapist trained in a specific technique located anywhere remotely close to our home. Fonthill is still an hour away, but we made the trip bi-weekly. It never felt like a chore, because I knew that my wife would be in the best hands. Armed with a wealth of knowledge and skill, a great disposition and a fantastic sense of humour, Trevor made these visits events to look forward to, rather than to dread, despite the commute. The fact that the sessions were much longer than a typical appointment was re-assuring and it made us feel like our time was valuable. In the first visit, we were given a treatment timeline; if there was no perceptible improvements, continuation of treatment would be pointless. I respected this greatly. Of course, there were improvements noted in this time. Once Trevor felt that treatment could be performed by someone other than himself, he recommended a Lifemark clinic closer to home. It's not that he didn't want the business, but he truly respected our time and money. There are very few practitioners that I have experienced whom I can say this about. I highly recommend Lifemark in Fonthill. The approach is entirely centred around patient care and patient improvement.

After receiving a head injury in March/2017 my physician recommended Lifemark Fonthill. Walking into the clinic for the first time, I was greeted by welcoming frontline staff and immediately felt comfortable. My head ached, the dizziness was unbearable and I was incredibly nauseated. The Clinical Director, Trevor Kwolek began a treatment program for my post concussion issues. Shortly thereafter, he also diagnosed and treated me for BPPV and went over and above to assist me. Without their assistance, I would not have progressed to where I am today! To echo the other 5 star reviews, I highly recommend Lifemark Fonthill!

Thanks to Tyler who gave me exercises to do and his competency to check on me and my performance diligently I progressed to walking in a normal way ! Emily was in our open concept gym ready to answer questions, give me direction as to what movement came next and finally to give me a hot or cold compress to end the session !!! I went in with severe spinal issues (which I know cannot be corrected until my surgery); the main thing was NOT to aggravate it through aggressive physio. This past year I was a student in the Exercise Science for Health & Performance program at Niagara College and I completed one of my placements at Lifemark. From the very beginning I knew I was in for a great ride and I enjoyed each day that I was there. The atmosphere that Trevor and the rest of the staff creates is one that is inviting and fun! All the members are very knowledgeable and I learned a great deal during my time with Lifemark. To make a long story short, I was injured at work and required mild brain trauma treatment. Finding places that offer top-notch concussion physiotherapy is hard. Especially facilities that are both staffed and equipped with the proper tools to help you return to your prior state. I ended up turning to Lifemark Physiotherapy in Fonthill. Where not only was it staffed with knowledgeable and welcoming people but offered the best equipment to help me return to my pre-injury state. After completing weeks of treatment at Lifemark, I have finally returned to my "old self" and progressed quickly with the guidance and assistance from Lifemark. I got to work with Tyler over the duration of my treatment plan and his help was remarkable. Each week I saw progression by listening and completing the exercises and tips he gave me in micro-managing my injury. For anyone looking to receive top-notch treatment where you get the knowledge and understanding of your injury and help yourself get back to the "old you", this is the place to go!

Tyler diSimoni has been remarkable. At age 72, I have not been a lifetime exerciser, and Tyler is helping me be more regular with exercises targeted to my weaker structural places. He helped me a couple of years ago with a frozen shoulder which I thought would never heal; and now the arm works very well. Tyler listened to the problems I was having, activities it affected, exercises it was preventing me from performing, and did a full assessment to find the reason I was in so much pain. Tyler gave me excellent exercises, worked with me at my pace, asked the right questions, and actually cared about my progress. Found he was very easy to talk to, always in a good mood and was always on time for my appointments. Even though Tyler was my Physio, the other staff were also very professional and very friendly. If Trevor, Austin, or Andrea were working when I walked in, they would greet me by name. I found going to Lifemark, you were treated more then just a client. After my experience at Lifemark Physiotherapy Fonthill, I am very happy with my results and working with Tyler. Keep up the good work guys!

I am a senior with apprehension around my hip replacement surgery and recovery. One week after the surgery it was time for physio therapy. The staff on the front desk were helpful and accommodating when making my first appointment. Tyler Disimoni was to be my physio therapist. Immediately he allayed my fears about the work that was going to be needed to get through to better mobility. He was kind BUT insisted that I do my exercises as described by him and not my way. With his gentle persuasion and my effort I began quickly to improve my gate. My waddle was dwindling. Then Covid19 hit! No clinic appointments - no problem - virtual care with Tyler was the next step. Tyler and I "met" once a week as usual and my physio continued uninterrupted. First he would show me what to do and I would place my cell phone in a position so that Tyler could see what I was doing and then he would give me instructions and watch what I was doing and then make adjustments until I was doing it correctly. I didn't miss a beat. Virtual care is a great way to continue recovery BUT I still had to put the effort in. Thank you to everyone at Lifemark Physio Therapy Fonthill.

He was very thorough and knowledgeable determining the issues I had with my shoulder which had been stressed from heavy lifting, pushing and pulling. Trevor Kwolek has been treating me for the past few weeks, and with his help, I have been able to complete 6 triathalons this summer. I came here for my Rehabilitation after I broke my ankle, the team was amazing, I had Trevor as my physiotherapist, who did an amazing job at explaining everything about my injury and how and why the techniques he was applying would help and mentored me through the healing process, I also worked with two amazing kinesiologists Kara and Katie who made the normally unpleasant experience of doing physiotherapy exercises enjoyable with their positive attitudes and thorough knowledge. They instilled confidence in me to overcome challenges and I will always be grateful for the time I spent there because I know that I would not have healed as effectively without their help and guidance.

I came limping into Lifemark with my thigh muscles so bad after two knee replacement surgeries and a broken leg from surgery that walking half a block was almost impossible. Also, while in Shaver Rehab I hurt my shoulder badly but as it was not as a result of the surgeries, they could not treat it. Within a couple of weeks of therapy at Lifemark and doing my part at home, my walking improved greatly and now I am up to shopping in the malls and walking a few blocks. Shoulder is still being worked on but much less pain than when I first came in. They have been great to me, from Lucy at the front desk to my therapist Hayley. I love this place. I've been coming here for a little over a year now. This clinic and the people here literally gave me my life back. 2 years ago I sprained my ankle. I had been to many doctors and another physio clinic and no-one could help me. I finally found Hayley and Andrea (physio and massage therapists). After some progression, I still wasn't 100%. They refereed me to Dr. Levy (a sports physician at lifemark). It turned out I actually needed surgery to correct my problem. I'm 4 months post op, and still seeing Hayley and Andrea. I feel great, and am recovering super well with these two therapists. I would recommend anyone with an injury to come here. The clinic is clean and spacious. Thanks so much guys!

I was referred to physiotherapy by my doctor in Aug. 2015 for hip tendonitis caused by running and on-going low back pain. Fortunately, I chose the team at Lifemark Fonthill for my rehabilitation. I was treated primarily by Trevor (physiotherapist), but also by Anne (physiotherapist), Mike (kinesiologist) and Andrea (massage therapist). All of my rehabilitation team was so knowledgeable and capable when it came to the treatment of sports injuries. Trevor was able to successfully treat my hip tendonitis as well as low pain that had been present for over a year and was not responding to chiropractic intervention. A couple of months ago, I returned to Lifemark Fonthill for the treatment of ankle tendonitis. Trevor had me fixed up and pain free within a couple of months. Lucy and Stacey were incredibly friendly and always very helpful when it came to booking appointments around my schedule. Thank you Trevor and the team at Lifemark Fonthill for getting me back to doing what I love to do - running :)
