You know that we don't usually stop to put evaluations when these are positive and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...

I am making a move to Lakeland FL in August of this year. I am an LPN in Primary Care at UMASS Worcester MA. I have been checking out Watson Clinic and like what I see. I have already applied and I am going down in April to get my FL nursing license. ???? patient care is my priority and it seems Watson Clinic is on the same page as I am.
If I could give a zero stars I would have. I went to my primary doctor several times about pain in my back. The first time I was given medicine, the second time a shot to "get me home", and the third time a ct scan, which was taken in the wrong section of my back. The abscesses were not seen because now you show the the area and they take a ct scan of a small area, instead of around the area. My diagnosis was severely missed which caused the most excruciating pain in my life. I ended up on a walker and being pushed in a wheelchair to my appointments. I could not walk, my spine was infected with two abscesses which were not caught until I went in for the fourth or fifth time, when an MRI was ordered. It was scheduled a week out, and my doctor said he would read it when he got back from vacation another week later. I called the MRI scheduling and begged to be worked in. The next morning I got there at 6:45 am. At this point, my husband was dressing me and helping me and guiding me with my walker, and making sure I got downstairs of our apartment. Then wheeled me in to my MRI. As soon as it was over, I was asked to wait a few minutes, I was told that I needed to go to urgent care right across the hall right away. I was immediately put on morphine and had that for about 4 hours until they had a room ready in the hospital. Before I even got to the room, I had to have the abscesses drained immediately. They only drained ONE. The quack from Watson Clinic, who seen me in the hospital, told my husband and mom that they would need to remove a bone to get to the other one on my spine, so they left it there and he said he would put me on antibiotics to kill the other one. Within 6 weeks, administering 2-4 bags of antibiotics by myself through my pic line, my back went from mild spinal stenosis with budging and herniated discs, to severe with some parts deteriorated, with infection caked all over it. I begged him to do blood tests to find out what was wrong and if I was getting better or not, I was still on a walker. He said I was getting better, that he goes by symptoms, NOT blood tests. Finally I went to a back surgeon in a different city, and had surgery two days later. He fixed everything that was wrong, scraped infection from all the pieces in my spine and then picked out all the pieces of infection before they stitched me back up, around 250 stitches. It was a nightmare from April 2016 until even now. The back surgeon saved my life. My back is still healing, I cannot sleep well at all, I have to sleep in my recliner due to the pain. PLEASE be your own advocate, get aggressive with your doctor and let them know what is going on, please make sure you are getting some kind of results and tests that you need. Although this is a fancy place, don't let it fool you, and don't let them try to only take 5 minutes and diagnose you when you KNOW something is severely wrong. Don't be ignored. I am living proof that when these so called doctors mess up or put you off, that you can be messed up for life. I hope this helps anyone needing input on this clinic..
I have been a patient of this clinic for 20 now. They do amazing work. I absolutely love the patient portal they have designed to communicate effectively with patients. I have watched them grow over the years and understand why they have had so much success. Keep up the good work, central Florida needs you.
Staff got us in quickly, my son had a head injury and they got him seen fast. The staff and Doctor was very nice and explained everything to me and my child. He’s had stitches before and they hurt and the doctor made sure he was numbed with gel prior to the numbing needle and he didn’t feel a thing and was feeling good by time we got home. Thanks!
They are a loot more like ER than urgent care.
Borrow what you spend and sell the debt.
Dr. Jaivir Rathore is BY FAR the nicest, kindest most caring Dr. I have every come across and with my medical issues Ive have been across alot of doctors in my life. I met him in the hospital and because of the impression he had on me I followed up at his clinic. He knew what was going on with me from the start when other doctors did not. I can not thank him enough for how he has helped me. He spent well over a hour with me while other doctors will just walk right in and out. I truly felt that he cared about by wellbeing and getting me better and i could not ask for more in a Dr. I look forward to continuing my treatment with him. I would HIGHLY suggest this doctor for anyone looking.
I have been to Watson Clinic urgent care once before. Everyone was wonderful. However the second trip here is the last. Everyone here was very nice except for Dr Kenneth Stroub. Dr Stroub (and I use the term Doctor loosely in his case) must truly be the absolutely worst Physician I have ever experienced in my 57 years of life. By the way I am an RN of 35 years. Dr Stroub is rude, unkind, patronizing, and he refused to allow me to verbalize my symptomatology before he jumped to a diagnosis. He totally lacked any compassion for me as a patient. I felt more compassion from the scribe who accompanied him into the exam room. Please go elsewhere if you are really sick and need a Doctor. Do yourself a favor.
Ridiculous fees. Corona test should not be almost $250. It’s a swab in the nose. Give me a break.
I have not personally been there but i have a friend who frequents the clinic and has had several bad experiences with Dr. Taef. Dr. Taef has been rude and insensitive to her and her medical needs. She has disregarded my friends feelings and thoughts several times and made her feel uncomfortable to the point she has had panic attacks in office. Please do not go here i urge you to find a provider that does the job and takes the patients feelings and concerns regarding their medical plan into account. Please do not see Dr. Taef in this office she will not take any of your request or feelings regarding your treatment into account.
Congratulations to all who stood their ground. Wish I could have seen it. Your not alone. The whole " My body my choice " comes to mind. Anyways cheers!!! As for the CEO and the rest, totalitarianism doesn't work on everyone!
I waited almost two months for a new patient appointment with a primary care doctor. Eventually, I had to throw a fit and what do you know?! They had an opening the following week! The doctor was young and seemed inexperienced, ordered back x-rays because I said my back hurts chronically and never even called me back. There was no point in him ordering x-rays for me to get exposed to unnecessary radiation considering he was unable to do anything to help me and never even gave me the courtesy of a phone call. Fast forward to today when I am simply looking to get a physical and a doctors order for titers. I was on the phone for 50 minutes with absolutely no resolution. I would have to wait for a new patient appointment with ANY other doctor in the WHOLE facility even though I have been to no less than 6 departments at the clinic. I am floored by the inefficiency and the unwillingness by the schedulers to help with anything. I would have asked to speak with a supervisor but I know they would have gotten on and be just as helpful (which is not at all). This is very upsetting because I was actually extremely happy with the Watson clinic in my first couple of visits, as it is extremely convenient to have everything you need in one place. That is the only thing this clinic has going for them.
I've unfortunately been there several times. Every time I've had a positive experience. Staff courteous, nurses and doctors awesome.
I really wish they would invest in pagers so you can "wait" to be called either in your car or near the premises. Even though masks are readily available, the wait times are long and I DO NOT WANT any of these coughs/flu that are going around when I come in. The wait time is horrendous, though the care is good.
Doctors are horrible. Used to have a really good doc there but I guess he left. Wait is too long. They don’t listen
If I could give a lesser rating, I would. I loved my ob gyn, but the administrative staff are the worst ever. They don't care about patients, just money. Go elsewhere!
Very Helpful! Warm & professional
Worst customer customer I have ever seen. Nurses are rude, miserable attitude, theirs body language speaks hate. I was in today for 4:30pm Appt. With Dr. Abdullah, and they make me wait over 30 minutes ? I was the only one left. Then receptionist tell me her desk is close ? Then I ask the nurse or what ever she is, How come you guy make me wait so long ? And the receptionist didn’t have the decency To follow up with me ? Incompetent, nasty Place. They don’t deserve not even one star.
Ive been a patient at Watson clinic for the past 17 yrs. If i could give 6 stars i would. From my childrens pediatrician to my primary doctor. Fantastic. Excellent. Urgent care. Been there 100's of times. Excellent. I can email any of my doctors and i receive answers within 1 to 2 hours.
They try to do good. You really must be on top of your care to get what you need. The lab is excellent and Radiology is good too. Some doctors are great and some are not. However, I just has a large problem and I was upset and scared. The patient services department did help me and they did it fast. So that’s a plus
Dr Peter Kazmier, his staff Susie and Jeff are wonderful! Dr Kazmier worked what I call a miracle on my grandson's leg. " Dr Kazmier is the best".... Watson Clinic's financial dept worked with us until we could get things straightened out.
Quick service
Ashley was awesome, and Dr Prakash was amazing.. they were both super nice and patient .. the wait wasn’t bad all in all I had a great experience ❤️
Here again for a 1 minute visit. 40 minutes behind so far. This is the same thing that happened 3 months ago. People at the desk couldn't care less, they are more interested in munching on their bag of chips while talking to you. So inefficient and unprofessional. The Google reviews are at 2.8, should be 1 or less.
Came here for a covid test 8/26/21 everyone was friendly from the amazing security guard running the front of the building to the receptionists who take your insurance to the doctors who treat you. Place is well organized and everyone was so friendly and nice I was in an out pretty fast even though there was a ton of people there. Thank you Watson clinic!
Girl at check in desk, Little bit rude! 11:51 pm January 2,2018 Tuesday.
Wonderful staff throughout; receptionist, nurses and doctor. Very efficient. Doctor spent quality time with me and gave lots of useful information. Highly recommend.
I went in for a COVID test and I was surprised to have to sit in a waiting room with several other people. The chairs were not marked to promote social distancing. I didn’t feel safe at all and since I was having symptoms I didn’t want anyone sitting near me. Why don’t they allow patients to wait in their cars, like my dentist office does? This is a pandemic. I don’t get it. Today my husband is there to get tested and it’s even more crowded.
Waiting almost 2 hours past the appointment time is just disrespectful. And that is after delaying the appointment by a day as I attempted to check in the day before.
Nothing!
Dr Reddy was very rude when talking to the family and his patient. He was saying he did not know what was wrong with my daughter and made fun of the family as they asked questions. He said she may have some acid reflux but really didnt know what was wrong with her and was sending her home when she was actually having a heart attack. She would have died if we had listened to him. She was transferred to the Florida hospital of Orlando where they immediately did surgery and found 90 percent blockage and inserted a stint. She would have died if we had listened to him and the team of cardiologist at Watson Clinic. Do not ever I mean ever go there with heart trouble. They do not care.
Doctors only know ice and ibuprofen my arm is unusable but was told to put ice on it. Money pit don't go there just a sham. Will bill insurance horrible prices and send you a bill for more.... stay away!!!!!!
545pm was turned away, told clinic was closed. Had a woman with a gash in her head that needed to be checked and possibly needed stitches. Didn't have a doctor who could see her. Guess they need to change their hours for truth in advertising.
They hang up on your constantly as soon and you press one to speak to an actual person the person will pick up and hang up on you. Very unwelcoming.
After a car accident, breaking two bones in my wrist, DR. Nicholas Newsum,MD was able to set my arm and perform surgery at Watson clinic at the Lakeland hospital. I received the best care by everyone involved, from the front desk, all through every procedure. I retired after 15 years with Tampa General Hospital and T.G.H. is very good because they also know me but Watson Clinic has them beat , hands down. I never waited in any dept. waiting room more than 5 Min. Thank God for Dr. Newsum M.D. and his wonderful staff for being there for me aand thank Watson Clinic for having a great Hand/Wrist doctor. Jeff Smedley plant city, Fla.
Dr. Dibo provided less than adequate, informative, professional interaction. He was condescending, arrogant, talks down to patients and family. Makes diagnosis and treatment decisions without adequate diagnostics and does not convey understandable explanations to his patients and did not even sit down but stood talking maybe five minutes. When he is paid by the patient, his interactions need improvement. Very poor and a discredit to his profession. Would not recommend at all.
Absolutely HORRIBLE experience!! If I could give a 0 star, I would have!! I had to get a CT Scan. First of all, It took them 2 weeks to let me know that my insurance company denied it. No one contacted me about it. I called many times and nobody gave me an accurate answer. Yesterday, I spoke with a representative and told her that I was going to pay for it, so she made an appointment for today. I showed up today and after I checked-in ,one of the representatives said that I couldn't get it done, for my insurance denied it. I told her I aldready knew that and that I was going to pay for it. She was very rude, unprofessional, and helpless. So I left and went to the business office. I spoke with a supevisor there and she said no to my $$$ really???? Watson Clinic you said no to business? What type of Clinic is this? I am used to the best back home in Miami. I guess I need to go back home where there are actually competent people. Watson Clinic, you will not get my business!! And please do not bother to reply to my review with the same generic reply that you use for other reviews.
I got bleach in my eye and Dr Gregory and his staff took me straight back and took great care of me! I never been there before but they made me feel as if ive been knowing them and going there for years. I really thank you Dr Gregory and your staff! 10 stars!
I was in and out of Watson Clinic Urgent Care Main in just under an hour. I have Crohns disease and was not able to see my GI at the Mayo Clinic for another couple of weeks and was running low on my medications to reduce inflammation, leaving me in a great deal of pain. Dr Hancharik was extremely empathetic and understanding to my needs and situation and was able to get me the medications I needed to hold me over until my appointment. I am so incredibly grateful!
I am on a tiny dose of opiates via pain pump. This allows me to funtion and do little things. I dont need increases. It also works on my chronic prostate pain and bladder spasms as well. Nice friendly staff. I just do not think the nice dr understands to much about camp lejeune historical water poisoning. I was treated great.Awesome DR, awesome nurses. clean building bath rooms. They saved me big time/Highly Recommended
All board certified doctors and a good support staff makes this a major contributor to good medical care in the region.
This office is doing the worst job handling this pandemic of any offices I have visited in the last year. They made me wait outside for over thirty minutes in the pouring rain just to tell me i would have to wait another 1.5 hrs in a lobby full of sick, possibly Covid positive patients waiting for my turn. Every other Dr office I've been to has had patients wait in their cars to keep everyone safe from Covid. Why can't this office do the same? I left without being seen because I didn't want to risk catching Covid while waiting to be seen for my cold (which I've already gotten a negative Covid test for). So reckless with your patients health! I'm honestly shocked at your disregard for your patients during this deadly pandemic.
Been there three times in the past few years. The wait times were acceptable. The doctors seem knowledgeable. Peggy is extremely helpful.
I have had great experiences with Watson's urgent care; however 3 physicians are present, the waiting room is relatively empty, and they're expecting a 3 hour wait. When the waiting room is full and 2 physicians are present, I've had less of a wait.
It's hard for me to find a Doctor that I like and find confidence in. But I have found that so far in DR. Asuncion
Watson Clinic doctors are great but the billing department is a JOKE. No help whatsoever. The bill pay system will not allow me to log in with the password I always use, I reset the password and it still won't let me log in. After trying to reset it again the system locks me out. All I am told is I have to wait 24 hours.... Ok, that doesn't fix the issues with the bill pay system. Sadly, I am considering changing my sons pediatrician due to this mess. I am constantly having issues and it seems like these people don't have their stuff together. Every time I call I get the run around. I would rather deal with the collections agency then the people in the billing department. Beware, Watson Clinic WILL send you to collections even if you are making a monthly payment. I didn't specify that I wanted my payments to go towards the oldest bill (DUH, wouldn't you do that anyways when everything is lumped together) and some "dropped off" into collections as it was worded by billing. Now how do I do that if I pay online. I refuse to give card info over the phone which is what they keep trying to get me to do. Last time I did that some ended up going on a shopping spree with my information. No Thanks....
Been a patient at Watson Clinic for a year now. Great primary care doctor. Not very happy with care from some specialists I've seen.
I wouldn't recommend this Urgent Care to anyone. The nurse that took me back wasn't wearing a mask because she was "trying to build up her immune system". Also, the MD I saw was so concerned about Covid, that he didn't even think about all of the other things I could have had going on, and only wanted to swab me and send me out the door. I had to ask for bloodwork. Terrible.
First off, I LOVE my doctor and the care I receive, but the billing department is below sub par. They neglected to file my insurance even though it hasn't changed in about 20 years. Then when they did and received payment... I had to call to see if it had been filed, the clerk says, oh, the payment is here would you like me to apply it to your account? Really? I have to call and remind them to apply all payments to the bill? I was tempted to tell her, no just let the payment set there and turn me over to collections as you have been threatening - the incompetence of billing is mind bogling.
Called to confirm an appointment, and the operator said they shut down for lunch call back later! "What " shut the whole operation down for lunch. ..
The door person is rude and the place is understaffed. There is no separation between people being tested for Covid and everyone else. The waiting room is dirty.
I was deeply impressed by the great quality of care that I received at WC Urgent Care today. Dr. Gregory and staff are living examples of everything a caregiver should be. Thank you all for your service.
I have been seeing Hope Dukes / Dr Saylor for long time now waiting to get in to a Nerosurgeon, Hope has helped through this process with many appointments and time and made all the proper decisions for my well being in the mean time. She really truly cares about her patients and has a lot of knowledge. I have always tried to avoid any Doctors at all cost till I have no choice, I feel extremely lucky to have her.I have had some bad experiences at Watson Clinic with other Doctors that don't even take 5 seconds with a pateint or even seem to care.Hope Dukes is very good at what she does , I don't see Dr. Saylor much but hear only great things about him as well.Even their staff and receptionist is very kind as well.Thank yall ,means, alot not to have to dread going to the Doctor at such a bad time in my life.
This is the second time having a horrible experience with “Dr.” Om Prakash. A few months back my husband went in with all the covid symptoms, and the doctor insisted it was the flu. They swabbed for the flu and it was negative. They did nothing else and sent my husband home. Recently I went to the same doctor( not knowing I’d have to see him) to get a script for an infection. (Nothing related to flu or covid) all he did was swan for flu and covid and sent me home. No bloodwork or urine test, nothing. This doctor is a joke. Don’t waste your time going to see him or the urgent care. The nurses and receptionist were nice but the doctor is a joke!
as a healthcare worker that knows the laws pertaining to patient care; I was in total shock when I was turned away from the UC because of my financial status and my urgent need to be seen by a provider (Which is illegal). I will definitely be filing a grievance towards this facility. It's a shame since they have such good doctors.
I have lived in Lakeland for 25 yrs. and have been a patient of Watson Clinic and the Walkin Clinic for many years. I have never had any issues with either. The walkin clinic staff are always friendly and competent. I have had one or two blips with the walkin clinic service over the years, but nothing that the would stop me from seeking their service in the future. For those that have commented about COVID-19 please keep in mind that we are in a pandemic and ABSOLUTELY no medical staff or situation is perfect. The medical staff and providers are so overworked please be grateful for the service you do have!! I was at the walkin clinic this past week and noticed that the seats were marked and socially distanced. The staff are walking around with cleaning products cleaning the seats, door handles and walls. The best we can do as patients are wear masks, use proper hygeine and hand sanitizer, and stay home as much as possible. If possible, visit the clinic early in the morning or late afternoon shortly before closing as it is much less crowded in the lobby. Please hold all medical staff in high regard as they deserve our respect!
AVOID THIS PLACE!!! They take a bunch of unnecessary xrays just to rack up the bill. All they care about here is your money they don't care about you or your health. On top of it all the staff is just rude and horrible. Never ever go here!
I've been to Watson Clinic 4 times in the last year, 3 of the 4 times I had to wait well over an hour before finally seeing a doctor. Nobody ever said anything about running late, etc. and I realize they intentionally overbook but lousy service 75% of the time is unacceptable! Today I left and had my copay refunded after waiting nearly 90 minutes without seeing the Dr. My time is valuable too and I don't have time to waste; especially when wait times have been consistently excessive for the majority of my appointments.
I was in and out for a COVID-19 test and treatment for symptoms within 30 minutes on July 25th. The staff and physician were all very polite and professional.
Im a nurse who works somewhere else.tried to get my moms appt.said nobody could help.computers down.this was all morning
good doctors and nice office workers who are pleasant
Dr. Pantol (Neurology) is phenomenal. Is he tough to get into, yes. I won’t mislead you there... but he is worth the wait! He is so supportive, positive, and reassuring. My hope is always renewed after an appointment with him. His office staff member, Tracy, is incredibly nice and caring also!
My specialist doctor is in Orlando requested I have a CT scan with CD and report prior to my scheduled appointment. So I completed all neccessary paper work at Watson Clinic Main and the scan was completed on 7/9. After waiting a long-time for the CD and report I ask how much longer and was told the report was waiting for the doctor to sign off and I could come back the next day and pick it up at the Iinformation desk after calling four different times the next day it still isn't ready so I 'm waiting though the weekend and hoping it will be ready. js
I see why they are currently rated a 3.3, and have so many 1 star reviews. Even though the urgent care claims "...in the best interest of patient care," they do not hold true to that statement. I called at 05:40 p.m. to see about getting tested for Covid, and with my symptoms I was told "come in right away, and a nurse out front will assist you." I immediately jumped into my car and ran over to the urgent care. I arrived at 05:58 p.m. and was told that I would not be seen as they close at 06:00 p.m. I then asked to speak to a supervisor and they refused my request. I'll be taking my urgent care needs elsewhere.
My appointment with Dr Pham was at 2:50PM it is now 4:15PM and I’m STILL waiting. UNACCEPTABLE! If it wasn’t for the fact I need a new prescription I would have left long ago. I definitely will be finding a new Dr, closer to where I live
Never have to wait long. Very throu
It was very clean and the doctor's and nurses are very efficient and awesome!!
I called and spoke to the medical receptionist. I asked her the price for a basic ear cleaning procedure and if I needed to schedule an appointment. She assured me the price would be under $100 for it with insurance and the fact I was paying 100% out of pocket since the deductible wasn’t met this was a verbal agreement. Upon arrival, I stepped inside with authorized PPE (face shield) per CDC. The receptionist said, “you need a face mask.” I informed her the shield was a mask per the CDC. I assured her, I am not here to cause problems just here for a basic procedure. She reluctantly agreed and gave me some paperwork. After paperwork was submitted, within a 10 minute window, I sat in the lobby area for almost 3 hours waiting to be seen. I eventually was called back by a nurse who immediately started an issue with my authorized PPE that was covering my mouth and nose. I explained to her the CDC documentation and even offered her to show her the information on CDC.gov which she ignored and continued talking down to me in a negative manner while walking towards my waiting room. As soon as I stepped inside, she slammed the door, a few minutes later, a female medical doctor (blonde) walked-in and spoke a few words and left. Another lady, stepped inside within a couple minutes and couldn’t perform the basic procedure without the help of the patient holding up this plastic container for the biological material to go in while she held this device. The procedure was finished in less than 15 minutes. Afterwards, the doctor was supposed to step back in and do a wellness check and choose not to do so. I was highly disappointed with the service and walked towards the receptionist desk — no receptionist in sight. I asked Security, they said, “you’re good to go.” I just left out of frustration of the whole matter. A couple months or so later, I get a survey about the visit, I ignore it as I assume medical procedure was covered. A week later, I get a bill for $188 and change for a 15 minute procedure. Keep in mind, the agreed upon price wasn’t supposed to exceed $100 not including the subpar medical service I received. In addition, I find out, that my medical insurance was convinced into paying them even more money. It turns out, the 15 minute procedure was around $330+. I absolutely advise against going here for any medical purpose, if you do go here do so at your own risk. Respectfully, J.C.
Staff has always been nice
Dr Chadi Alkalil is great
This location has gotten worse over the years. Good doctors keep retiring and we are left with a string of employees that treat it as a big business. It is not the worst clinic but it very much gives you the take a number and wait in line kind of feel.
Seen Dr Taef, she and her staff were very polite, caring and most of all... Knowledgeable. Ive been having some health issues that other so called doctors were just ordering unnecessary test. Thank God I came across a doctor that wants to help and improve your health oppose to just charging your insurance.
Have always had a positive experience. Considering I’ve always been sick when I visit the staff work effectively to prioritize their patients and treat everyone with dignity and respect allowing the individuals to leave with a sense of relief. Thank you all for your hard work!
The staff here at this clinic are very nice. Very clean building. I came in with alot of pain and they were very patient with me. They also made jokes to help make me feel better about getting my blood taken because it freaks me out. I would definitely recommend this clinic for sure ????
Speedy service. Very nice staff and doctor.
Missed work 3 times to be informed once I got there that what I needed done wasn't ordered or it was incorrect. HORRIBLE ALL AROUND EXPERIENCE!
We moved down here June 2018 from another state and found Watson Clinic. They are marvelous. The ANP, Emily I see is amazing. I love the fact that everything can be done under one roof. As they are not hospital owned, I find them more cost effective than going elsewhere. Thank you for helping me work on improving/maintaining my health. You all are the best from lab, to x-ray, pulmonary function, specialists, front desk, billing, scheduling, nurse lines, refill ease and the Watson My Chart ease.
Dr. Abdallah is an extremely rude doctor. My husband went in for a follow up and to fill out a form. He wanted to negotiate that He go get blood work in order for him to complete a physical. He stated if He go get the bloodwork done now that he would have the form ready when He comes back. Not only did He have to go to work, It is NOT a requirement to have bloodwork done to complete a basic physical. You can walk into any clinic and have a physical completed but being that he is/was his doctor he asked him. He explained that he didn’t want my bloodwork done yet because next month he will have EXTENSIVE bloodwork done again due to employment. Due to insurance purposes it is unnecessary to have it done twice in less than 30 days. He called to file a complaint and the staff refused to acknowledge the dr refusal.
Great care.
Had an unexpected medical concern this morning and Dr. Taef was able to fit me on her schedule. With all the health issues I have been dealing with over the past 5 years, it's left me with anxiety about going to the doctor anywhere anymore out of fear of what is coming next, I constantly expect the bottom to fall out so to speak. Dr. Taef and Dr. Achinger have made me feel a lot better about my current and past health issues. It is taking some time, but I will get there and I am grateful to all the physicians, lab techs, RNs, MAs, receptionists... everyone, who has made my journey more tolerable and a lot less fearful. I am grateful to Watson Clinic staff for all they do for me.
Although the care my family has received there has been satisfactory. We have had multiple issues with the doctors coding the visit incorrectly. Which results in much more expensive visits, a lot of time spent on the phone trying to correct (which they have never changed), and issues with insurance claims. Leaving us with the conclusion that many of the doctors there treat us more like consumers than patients and try to charge as much as they can. We have decided to find doctors elsewhere.
Yes I had to go get a covid test for up coming procedure it was in and out loved it
Dr Mankani is the best surgeon and so as cliff and all his staff Doctor makani is well inform always ready to tell you all about you health l recommend it he's number one excellent human care about was best for you
Watson's doctors have always been very helpful, concerned about my and my children's care, and flexible with scheduling. They have almost every specialty and axilliary service in house so its super convient. Its nice to know everyone has our information no matter if you start at the clinic, go to labs, then see a specialist. Everyone is on the same page and test results are returned it timely.
Very disappointed in the doctors at this clinic. They would rather argue with you about why they are right and charge you thousands of dollars then treat your illness. No bedside manner. Almost died 3 and and all they worry about is their reputation and charging me more money than giving me relief to the pain I’ve been in for more than a month ago. Very dissatisfied with them and highly recommend finding a different provider than these self indulgent doctors who care nothing about their patients unless it to fills their pockets. The most horrible experience with not 1 but 3 doctors. Hate me if you will for this review Watson and associates but I’m sure I hate all of you more. Good luck In your crookedly corrupt company.
I've had to visit a number of doctors over the last 3 months, and I never had a problem. The staff were great and the doctors terrific. All of them worked very hard to make me feel good.
Uncaring business office, refused to bill insurance and won't help me get it resolved. They Expect me to pay 700 dollars I don't owe and won't see me until bill is played. Now my third spinal surgery is delayed and I'm left in pain and agony.
Went to Watson Clinic Urgent Care yesterday, lady is cordial at desk, she asked for insurance card, after a couple phone calls she determined that my insurance was not effective until the next day, to come back in Sunday Apr 7th, I come back in today same lady is working front desk, I give my card again she calls her people , this time they determine my insurance is not taken at Watson Clinic, why didnt she tell me that the day before!!!! Wasted trip and still got pain and health problem, fix your problems or communicate better internally!! Scott Bagley
If your looking to get treatment here be very careful regarding billing. I told the front desk rep that my insurance does not cover specialists but if it was going to be more than 100$ to let me know, the rep said it wasn't even going to reach 100$. Got a bill of 300$. If i would have been made aware of the charges I would have not taken my appointment and maybe if I had been sitting Mr.lipson for over a hour then it would have been understandable but I was literally there for 15 mins .I explained to the billing department said they can't do anything. Now I am in debt to them and is going in to my report because of their poor training. I wish I never visited this place.
Fast service! Friendly. I went late morning on a Saturday and the husband complained they were so fast that he couldn't ever finish the article he was reading nor get comfy in one spot. In and out within 3 hours...
I went to be tested for covid on 8/8 and asked for the PCR test and they did a rapid instead. After 2 1/2 hours waiting outside in my car I was told “this should make you feel better, your test is positive.” Of course that did NOT make me feel better , I cried in fear and due to being completely miserable after waiting and was told “you will be ok you’re vaccinated” then she looked down at my chart and said “oh … you’re not” I had so many questions and she walked over and opened the door , while I’m crying, while I’m trying to ask questions, and looked at me as if I was taking her time. This was the worst bedside manner from Dr. De La Cruz , I left without having any advice or answers just being told I would be referred for an infusion, but not why I was or what the infusion was for.
The staff is not terrible. At least they try. But don't bother trying to get a question answered between noon and 1:00 p.m. I was told that all the doctors were "at lunch." I tried to find out where my wife's prescription was sent and I could not get an answer. On top of it, I saw some pharmaceutical sales rep wearing a suit and a suitcase full of drugs and Olive Garden bags. So all the doctors were eating an Olive Garden lunch and listening to a Big Pharma sales pitch for some drug while my questions for an actual patient are not being answered. Can't believe clinics are still allowing pharma sales reps to buy them lunch in 2015. This seems unethical and lacks integrity. Made me think less of Watson. While I was there to get my wife looked at for a migraine, I must have seen at least 4 pharma reps. They stick out like a sore thumb as they are ridiculously over-dressed, the women wear too much make-up and they carry suitcases full of pills. They look ridiculous. Legal drug peddlers, that's all they are. This practice should be banned--at the very least the bribe lunches. Very irresponsible. NOT IMPRESSED. And answer patient questions between 12:00 and 1:00. I was told by the receptionist that there was nothing she could do. I could not even leave a message for the doctor. UNACCEPTABLE. This would never fly where I work. Patients are customers. Ban big pharma lunches!!
Horrible care and even worse billing/financial department. Primary hospitality misdiagnosed me and was ignorant on disease process.
Went in for an ear infection. Diagnosed with a headache. Following week had ear surgery due to misdiagnosed ear infecting. This place should be shut down!!!
Really makes you wonder what's the point in having an appointment......if your just gonna wait for 1.5 hours after your appointment time to be seen .......
Staff and doctors are caring and respectful,
The doctors are good, but that is about it. We always had to wait a minimum of 45 minutes to get into our appointment. The business hours mean you have to call while you are at work. I was actually hung up on several times. Often times service members would get upset if i asked for clarification on billing or insurance procedures.
the lab lost my test i was not notified for 5 days after my visit. i will never go back there again and i urge others to avoid this clinic
First experience: doctors said I need a procedure ASAP, then tried to charge me 10x my actual copay to get it done
Started having adverse side effects and called my pharmacy. They told me the side effects were abnormal and to call my primary care immediately to be properly advised. Called Dr. Mazeheri's care team 5 times. For some reason the line kept clicking off, as if someone was answering and hanging up, but they denied it and I have no way of knowing that part. I do know, however, that upon answering their phone the 6th time, the stated "You called 5 times, what do you want?" I forced myself to remain calm, and before I could even get the first 2 symptoms out of my mouth, the woman stated, if you're having adverse effects go to urgent care. Is that it? Ok, bye" and hung up. I called patient advocacy and am canceling all my upcoming appointments with Dr. Mazaheri.
Absolutely TERRIBLE customer service far more concerned with taking your money than resolving your problem. Primary DR NEVER available to be seen. ARNP's are clueless as to trying to narrow down an issue quick to throw a pill at you that only gives short term relief causing repeated visits for the SAME THING because running tests might cut into their 10 minutes of seeing you. Then when you cant be seen by either your primary or ARNP they tell you that paying monthly isnt good enough on your bill if you want to be seen by urgent care you have to pay your bill in full. If i didnt have to come back REPEATEDLY for the same issues, missing work and paying co-pay after co-pay paying the bill in full might not be a problem. I would STRONGLY recommend anyone find another place to be seen. The priority is not in providing you care its in taking your wallet from you. Guess ill visit the ER before my high blood pressure causes a stroke i realize the few hundred dollars i owe(which is being payed on monthly) is more important than my health. Thanks for making that clear.
First time at a Watson facility...I received better care at Watson Clinic Urgent Care than I do at my primary care physician’s office (my doc is a TGH practitioner.) Interesting concept... patient care that emphasizes caring about the patient. I was very fortunate that Dr. Dudrak was on duty when I checked in... he was very attentive and conscientious...he listened to my complaints, diagnosed my condition, and ordered proper tests. I left the facility with an understanding of what was wrong with me, comfort in knowing it was nothing serious and a care plan that included clear instructions as to what I needed to do to feel better. I am going to change my primary care to Watson Clinic.
Use any alternative you have if you are self-pay. Watson Clinic will give you no cost reduction even though insurance companies only pay 1/3 of their inflated fees, and their charges and fees are outrageous - worse than that but I couldn't think of a better word.
everything you need in one place
Everytime I've gone they have been very professional with good bedside manner. I would recommend them when you're in a pinch!
The records department functions about as productively as a fossil. Records should literally be clicks away however it appears a week or more is needed to obtain your records. This is simply unacceptable in this day and age.
Absolute worst organization and customer service. If I could go somewhere else I would!
This facility is the best! Have been here several times and have always received excellent care! My only complaint is that you aren’t open longer hours so I don’ gave to go to LR ER which is the worst!
Ive come here with my grandma a few times. And most of the time, the receptionists act like they don’t have time for her. They give her attitude when she asks questions, left her waiting for HOURS and got frustrated at her for wondering why. In my opinion these people hate their job and you need to find people who want to help others. Even if it’s just checking them in for their appointment. No need to be rude to my 82 year old grandma. She’s probably accomplished More than all of us. Where did respect go?
Was trying to decide whether to go to urgent care or ER since last visits resulted in going to the ER the next day for better treatment. Urgent care website said I could make schedule ahead appointment so that I wouldn’t have to wait as long, and to sign into patient portal, which I did. However, it’s Thursday morning and the options they gave me are on Saturday, so that’s really not helpful at all. Well, here we are again. When will I learn? Went to Urgent Care for muscle spasms in back. Picked up RX of muscle relaxer and when I got home noticed that I cannot take it with another med I take on a daily basis. Called Urgent Care for clarification. Suggestion was not to take my routine med until new RX done. The routine med has been critical to me for decades. This, for me, is like telling a type 1 diabetic to stop taking insulin for a week.
This place is a scam. Literally paid out of pocket to see a doctor for a prescription that I was unable to pick up before the expiration date due to some personal matters. Called to have it reordered and was assured that the only thing needing to be done is have the doctor reissue the order. This so called order was even "noted" in their system. Called again today to verify it was placed and now they want to double charge me?! Get out of here with that nonsense.
First let me say I was 1,000 miles away when this occurred frantically driving here. I told my brother to take my husband to Lakeland Regional but he took him here (he's new to the area). Tell me how do you lose a patient for almost 2 hours. Why are none of the areas of the hospital connected so that all departments can see where a patient currently is? Why do all people manning the different desks try to blame YOU for the missing patient by asking YOU, "where did you leave him?" After you've already told them where he went last and who he was with in great detail? Then they say they will have your primary care doctor get in touch with you for a follow up and when you call that office they have no idea what you are talking about. How do you fill out 3 pages of information and register at Urgent Care and when they look up the missing patient. They say they have no record of him? Although we have Watson clinic doctors which we truly like, this place was a joke.
There is no transparency in anything that they do. They failed to tell me that insurance refused to pay for part of the services rendered and failed to tell me that I would be receiving bills from multiple companies regarding my visit. As a result, when I paid the (very large) bill from the clinic thinking that I was done, I was shocked and confused when a bill showed up for the amount that I had already paid but from a different company. Still trying to get the financial mess sorted out. My advice: go to a smaller clinic that treats people with dignity and doesn't hide behind paperwork as an excuse to treat people inhumanely.
Staff was friendly and efficient. Waiting room was clean, busy but taken in an appropriate time frame. Organized. Doctor was helpful, took time with me. Was a good visit.
Kind prompt help, the doctors are great and very thorough. Front service staff is nice, app for WC is quick and simple
Naydene in the billing office answered my insurance questions in 5 minutes.... I was on the phone with the actual insurance company for over 3 hours & got no where. It seems that my insurance co failed to tell me that the Dr I have been going to for 10 yrs is OUT OF NETWORK with my new insurance . Watson clinic would get 5 stars if they took MY stupid specific plan :-( I'm selfish, I will not tell you who is my brilliant, smart, talented Dr is. I want to be able to make appointments for me. I don't want his/her office overwhelmed. LOL!!
My husband and I are very pleased to be patients of Dr. Guillermo Vasquez . He is professional, caring and listens. The only issue we have is with his assistant not returning calls which is usually concerning medication issues that only she or the dr can resolve for us. After calling twice the last two and a half weeks and not getting called back, I finally called today and left a voicemail for the patient advocate. More than Two months ago I was called by the clinic to set up an appointment for an IV injection and I specifically asked if the insurance approval had gone through and was told yes. Last month I received a bill for it on my credit card which I hadn’t given at that lab appointment. I have found out that the approval had not been initiated by the dr’s office and that is why I have been calling and giving them the phone number to initiate approval before I am to get the second I.V. Next month. Waiting...
Everything is in house, but to do any real testing or to see any specialists you usually have a 2 week to month wait. I had to wait 2 months just to see a urologist, and when i saw him he only gave me 5 minutes of his time and just sent me off with a script and didnt tell me anything. When i tried calling his office after finishing the prescription with no change, i find out he no longer even works there. How incompetent can a clinic really be to their patients? So if you feel like waiting for your problems to develop even worse while they deal with over crowding and being under staffed, then this is the place. Just very poorly managed from the patients perspective.
Well early this morning I was trying to get my sick husband seen. Heather (she has braces and she very unprofessional) was a complete b***h. She works at the front desk of Urgent Care, so there is no confusion and has blonde hair. She did everything she could NOT to help us. It was obviously too much for her to be helpful. I would never in million years except anyone to do actual work at their job. On a side note Lakeland Regional Health is very professional and they appear to not hire idiots. We were seen in 10 minutes and there were 4x as many people in the waiting room verses Watson. Due to Heather's unprofessionalism and just unpleasantness I would honestly rather die than be seen there. Have a nice day. Do yourself a favor and don't use Watson. I would like to add that Lakeland Regional Health is seriously 5 minutes away from this horrible place. Do yourself and your loved one a favor, don't go to Watson.
I called ahead for a Covid 19 test, as they are listed as one of the few locations available in Lakeland. They said no problem, and it was just a walk in. I arrived 6/9/2020 4:50pm and answered their entrance questions. Once inside, I was handed several forms to read and sign. At this point, I gave he my insurance, ACA silver plan. I was informed I was out of network, so I offered to pay. I was turned down, with the claim it would be fraud. Their web site says they accept self pay, and why on earth would they not help with testing. Shame on Watson Clinic for not helping during a national crisis. They wasted my time with inaccurate information, not only by phone, but on their web site.
Have been here several times. Most times I was in and out in less than an hour. Doctors and staff always pleasant and efficient. Problems taken care of and I was on the road to recovery.
Rude people that work there. And our wait time was three hours. The nurses were laughing and talking really loud while the lobby was full of patient.
I've been very fortunate to have good doctors. My primary care (Dr Judith Randall) retired last year. I thought I would not find another like her. I was going to go with another but her staff was terrible about scheduling. I got lucky and found Dr Geetha Krishnan. A very smart and attentive doctor. She's a slightly younger version of Dr Randall. So she should be around for a long time. I also have lots of good things to say about my pulmonologist Dr Catz and my dermatologist Dr Prakash. This place is better than the defunct Clark & Daughtery.
I went today thinking I was either having a heart attack or my lung was going to explode. Lots of pain. Scared because I only have 1 lung. Everyone there was quick & extremely caring. Thanks a trtreatmentpppp
Always good service when I come in and always quick
Online payment is a joke.
Same price as a doctor's appointment and they can do x-rays. Very helpful and staff were caring!????
My wife just had hand surgery and Dr. Meo has been wonderful. We have had very good attention from all our Drs. at Watson Clinic. Thanks!
I really think they should be wiping down the wheel chairs ..no one is wiping them down after they are used
Please go somewhere else instead of Watson Clinic! My wife went in to have someone analyze her severe abdominal pain on Saturday morning. After being questioned at the entrance she waited 30 minutes in line for the receptionist to tell her that their insurance system was not working and she needed to come back Monday. If this is truly the case this could have been communicated at the front entrance during questioning. But instead they choose to waste time and expose my wife to the coronavirus in a small waiting room with those being tested. If you're ok with exposing yourself to the virus while wasting time and being treated like herded cattle this may be the place for you. Otherwise maybe try Lakeland Regional urgent care. They were able to actually help us.
So far in 10 plus years my wife and myself haven't had any problems with scheduling, appointments, doctors, service or treatments. They are very professional and very qualified staff.
Wanted to see Dr. Gregory. Front desk told me he didn’t work today. After waiting 2 hours, was texting with a friend who told me that he was at the new Urgent Care South across from Lakeside Village. Drive over there and was seen in 20 minutes!
As a retired R.N. I find it amazingly inept that they would not remove a Jackson-Pratt wound drain. It is a very basic med-surg procedure that involves cutting a suture then pulling out the tube and placing a dressing over it. Instead was told i had to go to the hospital which to me means ER and a big copay. I thought this was the purpose of urgent care to do these routine procedures to free up the ER. I can't comment on the care there as I was not seen.
Where to begin? I wish I could leave 0 stars! From appointment times mixed up, to a serious misdiagnosis, I definitely do not recommend the Watson Clinic network.
If your primary doctor is here and they need a CAT scan or anything like that, be prepared for miscommunication between your doctor's office, your insurance AND the cat scan department. They also called saying my appointment "suddenly" got cancelled on October 8,2020 (a DAY before my husbands scan) because "insurance let us know this morning THEY CHANGED THEIR MIND" have you heard of that before? I haven't! Called insurance this morning who confirms it wasn't true and the quotes been denied since September 21!! So why would the doctor office call and say it is approved and schedule my husband??? Also love that they call on October 8 to cancel the day before and then call me today on October 12 asking me why i missed my appointment. BECAUSE YALL CALLED ME SAYING IT WAS CANCELLED JUST THE DAY BEFORE. The lady on the phone goes it was cancelled? I dont see that on here anywhere? SAVE THE HASSLE. FIND A DOCTOR ELSEWHERE. There is SO much miscommunication and you see the correlation of my complaint to all the others already on here.
Called to see about a sports physical and the Nurse that answered the phone said she didn't know if there was a doctor that does that. I asked again if she could find out and she said she don't have time right now to call back later. Thanks, for nothing!
Save yourself the trouble DO NOT GO HERE !!! They lied about how much it cost and told us $162.00 and when we got the bill it was $266.00. So when your sick and have to go here they jack up the cost.....What WALK-IN CLINIC CHARGES $194.00 and then an extra $30.00 for a holiday/or weekend plus $42.00 for a strep test, especially since you've had strep before and you know what it feels like and they make up "It could be Mono NO IT COULDN'T none of those symptoms were there but they still wanted the money. I called and they basically said yeah we will look into it and call you back and never did so I called them back again and they said too bad too sad. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND DON'T BOTHER CALLING THE PATIENT ADVOCATE OFFICE it goes straight to a voicemail and they wont call you back either. THIS PLACE IS A COMPLETE JOKE
Husband ,Went to Watson clinic, saw one of their Dr. was referred to another Dr .For carpel tunnel surgery, went to have X-rays 3-4 X-rays then ,had to have the Dr.exame hand and needed more x-ray 4-5 that time.when he went back after surgery to have bandages checked ,was told First Dr .Wanted more x-rays ,No Dr.talked to him about the x-rays already taken .He tells her don't like all these x-rays ,went had 8-10 more x-rays than BECAUSE the Dr. Thought he saw something, this in March of 2016.Have not heard a word from the Dr.who wanted ALL these X-rays.Now having lung problems that I never had BEFORE. Money making Machine , is what they are.
My wife saw a doctor here for 2 years. He prescribed her many different medications almost as if he was experimenting with her. The last medicine was so strong it had a horrible effect on her and he did not give any warnings of what it could do. Thanks google for being there for us. In 2 years never did a blood test to check the effects from the medication. She goes to a new doctor now and has to get blood tested every six months to make sure her body does not have a reaction. We called by watson clinic later to ask about this to find out the doctor no longer works there. I wonder Why??
My parents have been going here for years. They are able to get timely appointments for their doctors. They seem to get quality time with their doctors as well. Wait times can be extremely long for tests like ultrasound and such. Blood draws are pretty quick. Definitely a HMO type run facility. Love their having wheelchairs for patient use at the entrance. I can plop my mom or dad in one and then off to the doctors office without them falling down or weaving everywhere.
Took a friend...not long wait. Quick paperwork and seeing the doctor. Thanks.
Courteous staff, 6 ft distancing cleanliness
Always get what we need.. have been taking our family there for years
I loved it. I was treated very well by everyone I encountered.
Trying to get thru to your doctor expect to wait at least 10 to 20 minutes being put on hold by the operator. Once you speak to the operator she will put you back on hold before you even get a chance to speak to your doctor. This can take up to 20 to 30 minutes...
Fast amd efficient.
Have had all great experiences with the Doctors and staff at Watson Clinic!
I'm still waiting for the patient advocate who was moving my case to the next appropriate party top call me back.... it's been 3 weeks!!!!
Horrible experience. Doctor's staff unprofessional. No honest answer forthcoming when we asked why were we told the doctor was running almost 1 hour 45 minutes behind schedule. Front desk disrespectful. One lady laughed at us when we pressed for an answer. Once in the room they failed to take the blood pressure and temperature. Doctor was non-caring. He appeared upset that we complained about his tardiness. Even more upset when my wife informed him his staff failed to take her blood pressure. The most awful doctor experience in over a decade. That is my opinion.
They are very unprofessional. They have every single person with Covid-19 symptoms together without knowing if they do have it or don't. Also they all are in this tiny waiting room not faraway from the rest of the patients that are waiting for other things. Some of the nurses are nice, some other are very rude. I'm very disappointed of the doctor that took care of me , she sent me back to work with a lot of pills that make me drowsy although I explained to her that I work with heavy machineries and was very dangerous, I went back to work and my employer sent me home because of the medicines that were prescribed to me . Please find another clinic, don't waste your time.
Recently went to see the numerologist and waited over way over an hour and none of the staff was sympathetic as a patient towards my waiting and frustration. Will be looking for another neurologist for sure.
Best in town. Our family has come here many times for their convenience and hours of availability. Their quality care and thoroughness keeps bringing us back.
When I have no complain about my doctor, who is just fine, the Financial department is the worst in the World. They are not attentive, they screw things, they do NOT even listen, they do NOTHING, just screw you all over again and again and again. When doctors cure us, these financial people just ruin us. Hey Admins, if you wouldn't fix these stupid people your rating will go below 1.0 . Make things happen !
I joined Watson Clinic because I liked the fact that evrrythiev was under one room and all specialiast have access to you records. Well, their customer service is absolutely horrible. I can't see Mr primary care Doc or go to their Urgent Care due to a billing error on THEIR PART. It has been a over a year that I have been trying to fight this. The total is $218 for an ultrasound done at the woman's center that they td me I would not be charged for because I didn't need it. They have cut me off from all services and cannot even get routine Rx refills that I need for my health. Do yourself a favor and find Doctors that care about your health, not a bureaucratic conglomerate that is unable to do their actual jobs. I have called billing a total of 9 times since the bill was first received. 3 times I asked for the billing supervisor who never called me back. Now it is in collections and I'm done. Called their "Patient Advocate" who TRANSFERRED ME TO THE PERSON WHO NEVER CALLED ME BACK! She didn't even want to hear my story. I had to LOL at that. If this is their Advocate, what a joke!!
Called the eye Clinic scheduling for a simple question about a specific eye exam, and the lady went on and on, did not answer my question, until I asked the same question more than three times. She basically talked Over me. Ridiculous, I know it all attitude! Get another job, your customer service skills sucks! Ty
Absolutley ZERO stars. I will be reporting them to the BBB and any other group I can. They straight up lied to me about being in-network. Even went as far as to lie about checking coverage after receiving my insurance info. Now I somehow owe them $333. Yeah. Right.
It is great to have all the different disciplines interface and the labs, radiology are on site with results available to the physician as soon as the tests are compleat.
Very rude people.
This office gave my wife and i the run around for over a week before simply refusing to see us. This was for a follow up from an er visit. The staff was rude and not helpful whatsoever and gave us false information several times.
Every Doctor and Staff has been nothing but nice.
I have had nothing but trouble with the Urology department. Miss diagnosed issues or even worse the Dr did nothing about my problem. He let me be in severe pain and discomfort for months and just scheduled another appointment. When I arrived he ask me what I was doing there? I told him he scheduled the appointment and he said Oh like total airhead. He also forgot to make arrangements for the testing that was needed so I left and wont be back.
Friendly and helpful staff Excellent organization for speedy service.
Originally, my hubby and I went in on Sunday, 01/30/22 because of an serious issue I had on the right side of my neck (swollen). Plus my over active bladder. I gave a urine sample. Dr Prakash stated that I had a UTI. So he prescribed some medications. We were out of there within 30 to 45 minutesl. I appreciated how professional, courteous he was with us. Then I had to go back to WC on 02/01/22 because of a growth under my tongue. My hubby rushed me back to WC urgent care where Dr Orbezo had to numb the affected area, and pull out what looked like a tooth. She was very professional, empathic. Dr Orbezo let me know ahead of time about what to expect. (My hubby had already let me know ahead of time what needed to be done - I was just in denial). Anyway we were in/out within 35 minutes.
So far with most of my Doctors there are no issues. My problem is with one of my Doctor in the Rhemetology department does not believe in increasing pain medications. if I'm telling you my symptoms and the excruciating pain I am experiencing daily is for you to check why this is happening and find a solution please.
They changed the hours to 10pm not 11!!!!! Did not tell any doctors or on call staff. I arrived at 955 thinking I had an hour left. They turned my 3 year old away saying they already turned off the computers. We spent the next two nights in the hospital. Turn away adults that's fine, children I lose all respect for them.
I called and spoke with Rita in scheduling and she was so rude and uncaring. I wanted to confirm receipt of a fax for an order for a nerve conduction test. She didn't even try to help. Said check back if I don't get a call. Well, my pain keeps me up at night and has made daily life challenging. I called back the next week and spoke with Cheryl and what a difference! She was polite and VERY helpful. Thank you Cheryl! I hope to share this with your supervisor.
I love my doctor here, Baffoee Bonnie. He is amazing, and fast. He gets me in and out. However, I loved this place so much I actually applied to be apart of the company. With being denied multiple times, I called HR and spoke to Wendy. She informed me that I didn't meet the qualifications which was completely understandable. Everything she said was understandable, its how she said it that makes me never want to go back to this company. She was very rude and had a attitude towards me. She seemed like she didn't want to deal with someone asking about a position, which seems to be her job since she is in HR. I told her due to her attitude I would not like to work for a company which promotes this kind of professionalism. After all, I spend my money here, and my insurance pays Watson very well. I figured a company would be nicer to someone that is putting so much effort to be apart of it. Thank Wendy for my 3 star review.
Positive care love it
Worst experience, I called the front office at 8.45 Pm on 03/14/2019, explained my situation (pregnant lady with fever) then they told me to come. After reaching the place at9.30 pm, they ask same questions & then told me they won’t look those case , I need to go to ER. And the worst part is, both front office person neglected my phone call & made me come, further they are saying, don’t know whom I talked to.
Horrible experience. Brought my younger sister in for suspected gallbladder or kidney infection. She had a bad fever with continual vomiting, horrible stomach and back pain and was dehydrated. We left with no answers and basically made us leave because they didn't know what was wrong with her. She was in so much pain she couldn't move and so lightheaded from all the blood drawn that she couldn't stand up. Her face was white and her lips were shriveled and we asked the nurse if we could get her another IV for dehydration and she scoffed at us and then when we asked the doctor he told us to just get her Chapstick.
Dr. Hinsley is very professional. She spend one on one with me and listen to my needs.
THE WORST PLACE EVER... DON'T GO!!!!!!! RUDE RUDE RUDE
Was seen in clinic after a fall that involved facial, neck, and hip injury. Xrays taken and injury and symptoms noted. Went back two days later because experiencing same headache, pressure in head and dizziness symptoms that started after fall. New Doctor that we saw dianosed symptoms as something totally different....what????? Not gonna go back...doesn't leave one feeling better.or have confidence in treatment
Very nice and professional staff, doctors and technicians. Accomplished a lot in a very short time. Highly recommended!
I've waited a few weeks before writing this review since I've not had much good experience with medical persons in my life. I've had some real "characters" for medical personnel. But I'm also medical alphabet soup so things have to be done just so or things won't work right. AND I have a service dog. That just ups the complications. But. Watson Clinic? We got our wires crossed and I got a male GP, not a fan but okay. He actually listened to me and didn't brush me off when I was explaining my mysterious issue and ordered a plethora of tests and hooked me up with a bunch of other doctors for me to work with. I think I'll keep the guy. He listens and respects the weirdness that is me. (And I'm pretty freaking weird.) My first visit, I went straight from my intro appointment on the second floor of Main to have some xrays done. And I didn't even have to park my butt in the chair in the waiting room before I was taken in for my xrays. And my tech was personable and was great about the autistic thing where touching is just not a thing, I'm a lifelong pro at xrays so she just let me do my thing. Then comes all the labwork. I don't do labwork very well. Things get ugly then messy then I wake up a couple hours later. But, again, the tech I got to deal with? She was great. Instead of prolonging things like some techs I've dealt with, she got it done and over with before I got through my colour changing routine. No vomit, no fainting. 40 Points to Watson Clinic because I hate throwing up. And I just got a set of MRIs done today. Never had one but I've heard only horror stories. They referred to my file and made sure to let me know before they had to touch me, they let my service dog stay with me until the very last second and even reunited us for my break for the contrast so he could check on me to make sure I wasn't going to have any issues from the machine. The amazing ladies even made sure I was comfortable repeatedly throughout my nearly 3 hours in that teensy tiny tube of terror and noise - and they set me up with some music to help distract me. They didn't get frustrated with me when I forgot not to move, they just reminded me not to move and asked if I needed a break. Finally. My service dog is going through his medical realm training so he's still getting used to all of this. Everybody at Watson Clinic that we've interacted with, from the security personnel on Saturday mornings to a kind valet who kept me company at the elevator bay on my first visit waiting for my companion to the nursing staff to the techs to the doctor and the really nice security guard in the cart? They've all been great with not going dog-crazy on us and respecting the whole "working dog, no talk, no touch" rule. My only real problem with Watson Clinic as of yet is the chairs. I'm a plus size individual and most of those chairs don't fit larger sized individuals. Or they do in a painful way that leaves bruises. Yeouch. So far, I haven't had any problems with Watson Clinic that would make me hate coming all the way from Kissimmee. Totally worth the drive. Not including any photos because don't take photos at medical centres, that's an invasion of other patients' privacy. no. don't do that.
Very poor service...
Need to learn some Disney customer service training. Managed care department needs to learn to work authorizations correctly.
Took an hour to be called back to be seen. Now, here I sit for an additional hour. I suppose the initial wait was to get me prepared for the second. How wonderful. Just go somewhere else.
They have great service.
Let me start out by saying this place did overall well for my son. Unfortunately what they did not do right involves billing. long story short I have never had a clinic try to get so much money from me before. They overcharged us twice for 2 visits that were so minor and we only needed the doctor to get a prescription. What makes it worse there billing specialist told me after they send me to separate invoices that it was an error and I would be getting over 100 dollar refund. After 1 week no one called me and no refund was given. Then when I called they had no idea what I was talking about. After speaking to the manager they apologies about the specialist and send it was right and she was wrong which then led to no refund. They stated it seemed odd about the double bill and stated it was the doctor who coded it that way. The doctor still hasn’t called me to explain why She charged me extra for the appointments we did. The receptions at the pediatrics was understanding and some of the staff knew it was wrong but they couldn’t do anything. I will stop bringing my son as I don’t need to pay at the clinic and get billed again at my house. For a business it was handled unprofessionally and now I hope others understand when you go just watch out for your doctor and the billing and coding department. This place wants to make money and will do it anyway they can.
My husband and I moved to Lakeland in 2006. When seeking a Physician we were told by many people to go to Watson Clinic. So happy we took their advise. We both chose a new Dr. that had just joined their staff. Dr James Hardigan. We have had a wonderful Dr/Patient relationship ever since. Dr Hardigan makes us feel like he has own health care as his # 1 concern. Over the years he has referred both of us to Specialists within the clinic. I see complaints about long waiting times, that is normal any where you go not just this clinic. I see complaints about billing , I have had a problem before but it was always worked out in a polite manner. I hope to never have to leave this clinic.
Clean! Clean! Clean!!! The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful ????????????
So , I would like to tell you guys- DON’T go to this clinic. I went there for regular check up to get more information about future surgery but Dr Lakhani office charge like sick visit plus they charged me for nasal endoscopy which I didn’t ask them to . So , Today I checked my mailbox and I was upset because I have to pay 409 dollars for this visit from my pocket !!!!!!!! If you don’t want to be in my position- Don’t go to this clinic. I hope all people who is planing to get some service from them check this review first !!!
Have been a patient for over 50 years. My doctor's have been the best. They have coordinated my care. And I could not have asked for better
Watson Clinc had been in the community for many years. They have several locations. Some of them have walk in clinics. Dr's are listed by specialty.
Urgent care takes hours. The urgent care doctor I saw gave me a wrong, and very upsetting, diagnosis. My primary care physician is also a Watson doctor and he regularly seems confused and gives incorrect diagnoses. I'd try to find a different urgent care facility and primary care physician if I were you.
Been trying to get in to see Nzeko for months after them transferring my call 5 times everytime I call and losing my referral twice gonna try a different place who takes patient care more serious.
Was seen by Dr. Stroub worst medical professional I’ve ever talked to. Didn’t seem willing to listen at all seemed as if he was just trying to rush me out of there didn’t seem as if he cared at all and that I was talking bogus I feel like everything I said went over his head and in one ear and out the other I’ve never felt treated that way in my lifetime by a medical professional I would never be seen by him again if I ever had a choice his recommendation was that I see another doctor it was literally like he didn’t want to deal with me and that I was just another patient haven’t been upset like this in a while I will literally never come back to this facility just because of the way I was treated
Expect waiting for hours
No wonder doctors are leaving ! Horrible administration
Individual doctors seem fine, but they have lost so many of them and not replaced them that that there's no getting appointments in a reasonable time with specialists. I had waited 4 weeks to see a urologist on July 8, then got a call this morning putting it off until late August. I can't wait that long. The service at Watson Clinic has deteriorated so much in the 10 years I've been using it. The Patient Advocate's office is no help at all. Sure, use Watson Clinic if you don't need an appointment for 2 months. Otherwise go elsewhere.
BEWARE !!!!!!DO NOT VISIT HERE IF YOU VALUE YOUR HEALTH. I visited Watson Clinic to see an ear specialist for my horrible ear pain and extreme dizzines. I was seen by Dr. Reifenstein on the 1st of April for this. After that I was seen by Audiologist Hidalgo. After the Audiologist Tests I was told by Dr. Refeinstein that he found nothing wrong with me. I mentioned the ear pain and extreme dizzines and discomfort but he said I was just fine and dismissed my pain and suffering. I ended up going to another ear doctor for better treatment. I felt I was neglected and I dont believe I should be liable to pay for nothing being done about my condition.
Dr. Jason Saylor, spreads anti-bad sentiments to elderly dementia patient Shared his unsolicited negative opinion of any current or future covid-19 vaccinations with my elderly grandmother who has mild dementia and thankfully has the capacity to discern between proper medical advice and the unethically-communicated personal musings of her “primary care provider”. He made it clear to her he won’t be receiving a vaccine (if Watson Clinic gives him a choice) and I hope he isn’t unethically spreading his personal anti-vax sentiments further through the extremely vulnerable (and easily manipulated) elderly patient population he serves who likely suffer from dementia at a higher rate than the general population. These patients can be extremely impressionable and it is sad to see a primary care provider proliferate these fringe ideologies.
I went to urgent Care because I was not feeling well. First thing they wanted to do was test me for covid. Which I told them would be negative. I felt like I had a sinus infection or bronchitis, or a combination of the two because I get it all the time. The nurse was rude and like a robot. The doctor was even worse. I've gone here multiple times and never had issues. Because the rapid covid was negative they made me do a send out test. Because I'm on vaccinated. The doctor literally scoffed when I told him I was on vaccinated. Told me to just take some Motrin and nasal spray and I would be fine. Didn't even test me for anything else and sent me on my way. I felt extremely discriminated against. The staff was also extremely unprofessional and nasty. Especially as an employee, I would have expected to be treated at least with bare minimum respect.
Watson Clinic is the best place. Dr. Hisley from the neurology department was able to find the best treatment for my headaches. I seemed to have a migraine since 2013 and no neurologist could find the correct treatment. But Dr. Hisley was able to find it. I can already live my normal life thanks to her. Also the clinic staff is very helpful and friendly.
Normally I have great things to say about this health care clinic but today was awful. I went to get a covid test and arrive around 7:50. There is already a line of people and so I wait to go in. I was brought in first out of a group of 5 people. They make us fill out the form outside so the nurse took 5 in at once. Well she must have handed it backwards so I ended up being called last in the group. Normally it's not a big deal but I was there for 10 min before the end of the group came. I brought it to the attention of the nurse and office check in and they just blamed each other. They were like you are next anyway. Well, that is rude. Then I need to see the doctor and because 4 people got ahead I will be waiting longer. I got here early for a reason and it to be dismissed is bad customer service. I will pay for this visit and it's not free so I am very upset. I chose to be here because I thought it be faster than the free locations. I got here and got pushed to end of my group when I was here first. I will be thinking twice next time coming or I'll ask to check in at the desk as it happened because the nurse took all 5 clipboards at once.
I was shocked to see the valet parki g asked for tips. For God sake they are paid hourly.
Easy parking if you self park. Free valet parking is available. Easy access to the building. Temperature checking and face masks required at this time. Staff is very helpful.
Made us pay $132 before even running his insurance only to find out he no longer has insurance and refused to see him. I only paid in hopes he would be seen. Another reason i hate this place. They care more about money than people
I changed to the Watson clinic a year ago. My primary d.r. with Wellcare had refused to refer me to another Dr for 2 years, I received an appointment with Watson clinic almost immediately. A primary Dr. referred me to an orthopedist that saw immediately I needed a knee replacement, I had that set up as soon as i did the preop requirements. I love the fact you get your blood, work, labs, xrays, Mri ,and cat scans right in the same building, the results are sent to your drs. immediately, T:hey took the time to work with Lakeland hospital to get the best rehab services for me, at a fantastic low price, I am reminded of appointments by phone, can get thru to the Drs. office immediately if needed and have always received the best professional care, I do get to see a Doctor, not a PA or other assistant . This is truly a medical facility that deserves 10 stars, marguerite paduano
Quality of care is way down. Watson is only interested in making you get tests that aren't necessary. I told the doctors exactly how i felt and went elsewhere.
I have been coming here for over 15 years. As the years passes, you can also expect that your wait times are going to be longer and longer because of OVERBOOKING patients. This is practice that can averages from 40 min to over 2 1/2 hours. As the clinic shows growth throughout Polk County, the patient service is going down hill fast. The board of directors should take a sincere look at this " Hurry up and Wait " scheme they have here and refocus on the patients in their waiting room. Unfortunately they have this market Manopolized and it would be difficult to go elsewhere. They should rename this place to The Wait-some Clinic. If you have a choice, do not choose The Watson Clinic
I have been to this urgent care many times. Most of those times would be rated higher. However, after my last attempt being rated at about a ONE, I figured I would settle at 3. I tried to file a formal complaint, but kept playing phone tag and gave up. A couple of months ago, I fell and hit my head. I was at work and started to feel very sick. My boss was not in the office, and I was not informed of the proper way to address an issue that occurred at work. I chose to drive myself to urgent care, probably not a good idea to drive, but I was not thinking clearly. I was already upset and trying to keep my emotions in check. I was in terrible pain. I tried to check in and was told that without worker's comp paperwork, I couldn't be seen. I understand there are policies, but the desk clerk was very rude about it and didn't seem to consider how dangerous a head injury could be. Basically, I was turned away even more upset. I then had to drive myself to the emergency room. Please inform your staff to be less rude and more considerate of people with head injuries. I was confused and having symptoms of a concussion. Maybe have them be more sensitive instead of almost prideful about turning someone away.
My primary care doctor ( Dr. Taef) is wonderful and all of the other doctors I have been refer to have been nice. The only doctor I had an issue with was Dr. Bofobony I think that is how you spell it, anyway he was always rude and dumped me as a patient after seeing him twice.
At the Orthopaedic desk everyone is very nice, but was going on with the time waiting to be called??? More than an hour...????
The OB department bullied me into unnecessary tests and then overcharged me (I was 100% covered by insurance) months and months later. Would not recommend them.
Watson Clinic needs to be investigated for money laundering and fraudulent insurance fraud. They don't miss a trick to bill the insurance companies. WC pricing seem astronomically high. I hate playing their money mill game. it cost me more money than necessary. As bad as they are they have a monopoly on medical service in Polk County.
I have always had very professional service at Urgent care, they are caring and efficient.
Wonderful experience, from the receptionist, to the MRI specialist they were all helpful and nice to be around. Thank you
Every one has allways been great to me. I have never had any issues at all with any one from the one that make my appointment to check in. My doctors are great. I would highly recommend Watson Clinic.
Bring a fasting diabetic here, so he can get his blood work, convince him to be seen at urgent Care because he needs to be. See the doctor (Dr Prakash) and ask if I can get him something to eat and come back. He tells me no, use the snack machine. The nurse (Shelia) comes in and tells me off saying I need to make better choices for what I feed him and it's my responsibility to make sure he eats before he comes. HELLO HE'S FASTING FOR BLOOD WORK!!!!! Rudest nurse I've ever seen! Apparently this is the lady in charge. She's enjoying her power trip a little too much!
I was ill and getting worse quickly. We were driving back to our home in Virginia from Naples in an RV. I was seen with only a short wait (lucky?), CT and lab ordered and accomplished efficiently, results available, diagnosis made, prescription written and antibiotics dispensed all within 5 hours. AND I was totally well within 7 days. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 only because I think the doctor could have explained my situation better instead of me having to ask so many questions. I would return there any time I am in that city/area and need medical help.
I have always had great experience when I've had to visit with my doctors. I indeed endorse the clinic and encourage everyone that need help to see the people they know their stuff.
I’ve been a patient there for over 14 years. However, in the recent years I have noticed a decline in patient care. Today, for example, I went to the lab amd there was a miscommunication between the provider (Chiques Colon’s office) and laboratory regarding making sure that orders are there in an effective and efficient manner. Very unprofessional.
I've been here multiple times with my family and they are always caring and helpful. Doctors are great and knowledgeable. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is the wait time, your looking at anywhere from an hour to over 2 hours. But the time I typically go is in the afternoon or late afternoon so maybe the morning is the best time to go.
The main campus is very large multi- story building. There are a variety of specialties, lab services, and a pharmacy onsite. Wheelchairs are conveniently located near the entrances. The parking lot is huge. There walking zones throughout the parking lot. There is valet parking and places to drop off patients. There are information desks inside should you need help in finding out where to go.
Wait time for MRI is ridiculous. Nurses are rude.
Tried to come and have my son looked at for a cut on his finger. Arrived at 5:45pm and they were all walking out to their cars. They decided to close early. What the heck. They are urgent care to be available when other doctors aren’t open. They aren’t supposed to close til 6:00. I love Watson clinic but I am very disappointed in the urgent care.
I unfortunately have been here twice in the last 2 weeks. Both times I was pleasantly surprised. I do not have a lot of health issues so I have not had to visit a urgent care or a hospital in a long time. The wait was short, the staff who checked you in were very professional and friendly. The doctors and nurses in my opinion were very knowledgeable and professional and friendly. They seem to really care about what my issues were. I will never go any place else.
I visited again this evening. My health insurance is a mess right now, pay premiums - but united health says i dont exist. The clinic staff is amazing, got my necessary refills and was given a few months extra to give me time to deal with insurance company. They used to help me with my Mom who had alzheimer's, they always treated her kindly and talked to her directly and never talked "around her". Utmost respect and care for their patients. Same staff for years, they are like family to me. Thank you for everything your clinic has provided for my family over the years. I wouldn't go anywhere else. I truly appreciate everyone there :)
Watson Clinic IS NOT a part of TRICARE network. It is also NOT a true standing “Urgent Care”. If you have TRICARE you WILL pay out of pocket. They will not list your visit as “Urgent Care” when the invoice is sent to TRICARE. (Because they are not Urgent Care).
I HAD been a patient at the Watson Clinic for 30 years. I have NEVER been treated with such disrespect as I was yesterday in Dr. Armondo Lopez's office. Having taken the day off work and driving from Bradenton for this "annual" doctor's appointment which I got a phone call reminder about. I found out at the reception desk yesterday that today ( June 6th), is Dr. Armondo Lopez's last day. I was confronted by Dr. Armondo Lopez's medical assistant in the exam room, stating that the doctor would not see me for my annual checkup today because I had no other primary physician to review Lab work, and that unless I was "sick", he would not see me. The doctor didn't come in...No. Just his assistant This doctor wouldn't prescribe my medications that my gynecologist, whom also retired this year, again, without notice, use to prescribe for me for years!!! I didn't know doctors could just do this. I left feeling like I had been Completely abandoned by the Watson Clinic, and their Doctors. They seem to have a retention issue with physicians. What happened? Back in the day, your reputation preceded you. VERY HURT and disappointed with the treatment I received yesterday. And I will NEVER be back!!!!! ( Not that anyone cares). The only person who seemed to care was Renee at the reception desk. You're just like All the other clinics... All business, NO compassion anymore. Kathryn Barry
