I arrived in Canmore 10 minutes early for my appointment. However the way they build their buildings makes it complicated as they are imbedded amongst apartment buildings that look similar. So I ended up peering and driving around slowly looking for the Sports Medicine Clinic. So I was late. Parking was a hassle as they had blocked off a majority of the street for cleaning. The receptionist had good customer skills as i apologized. However once i was in the doctor's office he sternly said "Your late...." I apologized and told him I got lost in trying to find the place. He was offensive and rude. Making me feel uncomfortable. No bed side manner nor wanting to understand your lateness. I felt like I ruined his well oiled machine that stamped the can and on to the next.

Disappointing customer service. I booked a mani-pedi for myself and my sister via Facebook and accidentally stated the day/date as Friday the 30th instead of Friday the 31st. This lead to the appointments being booked on the wrong day. I received confirmations and didn't realize my mistake until the day of the appointments. I was able to rebook one for the following day but had to pay a fee for missing the other appointment. I felt that the receptionist was quite rude about it and she also didn't offer to rebook my appointment for the following week, which in hindsight, I realized I could have done. I also wish they had taken the time to clarify the dates originally, because that would have triggered me to realize my error. If you're paying a premium for a service like this one, personally I feel the customer service experience should match that. Not worth it - I'll stick to my walk-in nail appointments elsewhere.

I decided to get away from the world during this time of crazy and came to Canmore for a respite. I decided to book a massage and Megan was one af the people available so I booked her. She was amazing. I honestly think it was one of the best relaxation massages I’ve ever received and I’ve received many. This was the BEST start to my trip for sure. I tried to convince her to move to Canmore, but she flipped the table on my (not literally), and tried telling me it was better to move to Canmore. Seriously folks... THAT good. Book a massage. Do it now. Ask for Megan.

Nice facility and friendly staff, but if you're not interested in using their facilities, the price is definitely not worth it. I get a facial at least once a month at various spas around North America, and this one didn't come close to any of the top ones I've been to. Save some money and go somewhere else.

This massage experience is memorable not only due to the talent and quality of products but for the holistic and personal approach to wellness that they promote. The facilities are special - gym pass for the day, eucalyptus circuit available with any service, entering and leaving well hydrated and replenished with tea/snacks, and generosity in products in the rest area. These are all elements that set One Wellness apart. I always feel better when leaving and can't wait to go back.

The massage was good, but the pedicure was superb. I am pregnant so it might be difficult for the therapist to give the massage while laying on my side, I will try again in the future and see if I get different results. The spa is very nice, the gym well equipped, customer service is great. The only thing I did not like about the facilities is that people using the gym can access the relaxation lounge and while you are in a rope, there may be people getting in and out of the room. I would limit it only to spa guests

Shawn booked a massage for my birthday and it was wonderful! The staff upon entering are very professional and polite. The sitting area was well decorated and relaxing. I loved that we could sit together before and after my massage. Bring your bathing suit because you can both go to the same sauna and steam room! Best of all my massage was wonderful! Lyndsay was my massage therapist and she did a wonderful job! Also, she was so nice and down to earth it felt like we had been friends forever. You would never have known we lived miles apart in different countries! If I ever get a chance to go back to Canmore, I will definitely go back!

Jacob Carter, physical therapist at One Wellness in Canmore and at Banff Centre, has made such a positive difference in my mobility and in my enjoyment of life! He treated me for a chronic leg/back issue over several months in 2017 and 2018. In the last 15 months I went from not wanting to move due to the pain of each and every step to walking several miles pain-free every day. My friends are quite astounded! Unfortunately, I had a fall on the ice in April 2018 and tore my rotator cuff. Jacob was amazing in assisting with my recovery. I couldn’t lift my dominant arm at all after the accident and now, with Jacob’s guidance and encouragement, I’m at about 85% range of motion and I’m heading toward 100% recovery. Jacob is a caring professional whose expertise has really helped me to improve my health. He has a positive personality and a delightful sense of humor. Those attributes helped me immeasurably as I was working through the pain of recovery.

Went here to see physiotherapist, Hugh. Who is awesome, and helped tremendously to improve my pain, mobility issues. Some things could be better- the reception staff in particular. Even though I provided both insurances when I started to go there- my own and my husbands- initially I was told they cant bill my insurance and I have to pay out of pocket and submit the claim. Then when I insisted to try again few appointments later- then it apparently went through. Still, my husbands secondary insurance was never charged for the outstanding amount for some reason, and he has to submit independently. Another issue which was a big deal, when I had to reschedule my appointment, arrived on the time they rescheduled for (based on their email), and receptionist said that my actual appointment was reschedule later during the day and not at the time they provided tome, stating not knowing what happened. It proved to be quite inconvenient to me due to work commitments.

Woo betide if your late for your appointment (7 mins). They make such a big deal of it. They seem to forget that we go to One Wellness Spa to relax a few hours from our busy day, and instead of being calming and welcoming they make you feel more stressed. I ended up walking out as the receptionist was very condescending. Called the Spa Manger who was no help, in turning a bad situation around. You can leave home early and get a slow train crossing the track, or a busy morning with work and life... On this occasion it was all about the money and not about the experience or the person coming to the Spa.

I would just like to say that this is my second 6 month membership with One Wellness and I could not be happier. The staff are just incredible and are so helpful, kind and welcoming. Alison is one staff member that always takes the time to check in and see how I am doing and provides incredible customer service. The facility is full of top of the line equipment, is clean and always well maintained. The membership includes classes, use of the fireplace relaxation room, and stream room. I cannot imagine going to any other gym. It is never to crowded and I always feel welcome. I sometimes go and just hang out in the relaxation room after a workout and sip on a tea. The whole experience is so worthwhile.

I've been a customer here for many years but my last Gel manicure experience was not so good. The first night post manicure, my index finger nail just flaked off completely - found it on my mattress in the morning. Then another I found on the floor by noon the next day. I called One Wellness and they tried to fit me in for a repair but I never heard back. I was so disappointed. If I'd been going to a wedding or that, it'd have been bad. Thankfully, I finally did get a call back a few weeks later and they have offered to re-do my $96 gel manicure for free. Yay!

I've been coming here since re-opening of personal services was allowed. First concern was safety and hygiene. Excellent on all counts. I feel safe here. I have used all services including sports medicine, physio, massage therapy and personal training. After seeing Dr. McIssac who is excellent I started on a program with physio (Jacob - best ever) and personal training with (Jake Watson- amazing). I have never had such a positive experience and results. It feels as if I have a multi-disciplinary team working on regaining my fitness after back surgery in March. They are collectively focused on helping me achieve my goals of increasing stability, flexibility and strength through training interspersed with therapy where needed. The whole experience is 5 star including bookings with the help of Diane and staff. I couldn't recommend One Wellness more!

My girlfriend and me just received massages from one wellness spa. We are very happy and relaxed. From the moment we entered we were greated by a very sweet receptionist with a nice fluffy robe, towel and sandals. We chose to get massages at the same time and make use of their steam room, sauna, and cold plunge. They have ice water, delicious choices of teas, fully stocked showers, and easy to use code lockers. Both of our massage therapists provided excellent service (warm towels, warned my robe) and both of our problem areas are doing so much better! I saw a couple older reviews complaining of price and service, I'm glad I ignored those. A one hour massage and use of the facilities was $120 in loony Canadian money. I'm unsure where people would get a decent spa quality massage for less. We'll be back the next time we're in Banff. Make sure to try the tea!

This is hands down my favourite spa in Canmore! Beautiful facility and welcoming staff. My massage therapist and aesthetician were wonderful. I loved that when my treatments were finished they had my robe warmed up and ready for me. My skin felt so soft and had an instant glow after the facial. The Babor products that were used during the treatment were very luxurious and I was given great tips to maintain healthy skin. The relaxation lounge with the tea bar was so cozy. I can't wait to come back!

Also, the mints at the reception desk are the real deal. I recommend grabbing a few for the road, as a quality mint is hard to come by these days. I visited One Wellness twice to use the gym and have a steam. It's a lovely space, so clean, so calming. The staff are friendly, and make sure you have everything you need. I did some cardio, weights, and stretching in the gym. Maybe because it was midweek, there were only a few other people around but there was plenty of space and equipment for everyone. I loved the steam room. There are essential oils "steamed" in - a combination of mint, rosemary, lavender and one other I can't remember - it smells wonderful! Before you enter the steam room, there are scented facecloths on ice to take in with you for cooling, as well as various dispensers around the spa for ice water, or ice water with cucumber. There is also a sauna, although I didn't use it, and a full menu of spa and aesthetic services is available. (Next time!)

Girls day gone wrong!! I had been excited to try this place as I am new to Canmore. The steam room and showers were grimy and slimy, there was used towel all through the women's change room, our robes had holes in the arms, our towels were see through, the showers in the change room are yellow grimy looking. There were no products - what kind of spa has no hair products and 1 horrible hair brush? When we tried to speak about our unhappy experience with a chubby blond on the front desk she was condescending and completely uninterested, whilst the two other girls just stood there. It was almost too sickly fake .. you need to work on your customer service. I understand paying $170+ for a facial in a fantastic day spa.. but this place is not one of them. Cleanliness and horrible customer service really let this place down and from what I hear around town - this is nothing new. The only reason I am giving this place 1 star is because our facial was nice. Other than that - an awful, dirty experience. Save your time and go else where.

I’ve had a few massages here over the years and have always loved my experience 10/10 quality of massage. This time around I was disappointed that the relaxation room was no longer part of every appointment. Currently pregnant working as a nurse with a toddler at home I was looking for that full experience of peace and relaxation. The massage was still great just unfortunate to not have access to the lounge, steam room, and showers afterwards.

i have been involved with ONE wellness now for a couple of yeasrs. They are the BEST! Sports med people (physicians)are superb, physio ( I have seen Hugh) - he is extremely knowledgeable and zeros in on the most important things with follow up always available - he spends ALL of the session hands on which is wonderful and so helpful) and the massage therapists are superb. This is a wonderful setting and Canmore is lucky to have everything all under one roof - the VERY BEST in diagnosis and treatnments available!!

I’m not one to comment on service very often but I will say I was unimpressed with this spa. My husband booked me a number of services for a mom getaway birthday gift and while the spa is nice and the products they use are nice. I ended up with mani with no cuticle care (no soaking, softening, drill or push back at all) no massage or any of the nice stuff I would imagine the $70 bill would pay for. I also never was told that taking off my previous gel polish would cost me an extra $15. This is not on their website at all and nobody discussed this previous to performing the service. My pedi was fine- there were at least regular steps taken but for some reason even after 3/4 hours of waiting before putting on shoes my polish all pushed back. My facial was nice and relaxing but I would recommend giving feedback about what the client should be doing for care in the future- any other facial I’ve had was totally more informative. My massage was ok- only arm work which I mean...makes it seem like the therapist is inexperienced or tired. I just feel like I would have rather spent $500 somewhere else.

Don’t use the online booking system. They never got back to me. I went in anyways at the time I’d booked online because I’d had a busy day and didn’t get a chance to call them. The girl at the front desk of the spa told me they don’t use it...not sure why it’s there then!?!? She didn’t even offer to re-book just went back to talking to her friend. Impeccable service!

BEWARE of giving your medical insurance information prior to your appt. I booked a massage back in June . Plans changed and I had to cancel and I cancelled within their required notice. They still billed my insurance company TWICE for a massage service that never happened. It is 3 months later and I still do not have this resolved . Will NEVER book their again. If I could rate this 0 stars - believe me I would have !!
