So good!! The spa itself is amazing and has everything you could ask for. I felt so well taken care of, A+ customer service. Will definitely be back.
It was great. The only suggestion I have is that it would be great to book on line and be able to request the esthetician I prefer. Seems silly that I cant request. It would be so convenient.
Wonderful experience. Professional staff. We loved it
My favorite complete spa day was an experience to remember! Beautiful space, kind concierges, knowledgeable therapists and just a wonderful place for some “me” time!
I love this place. Will be back soon
Amazing and relaxing experience. Staff really nice, 80 min massage was so worth it
I had high expectations of this spa, but left in shock. I booked a lavender rain treatment and then a facial. While I enjoyed the lavender rain (as well as the therapist), I was dumbfounded at how horrible my facial was. It truly changed any positive feelings I had about my other treatment. From the onset it felt like the esthetician had somewhere else to be and was rushing to finish my service. Every time she touched my face it felt frantic and far from gentle. Throughout the service she also kept letting out large sighs like she needed to get out of there. I’m not one to normally book a facial at a spa, but thought I’d try it out for my birthday. I was left disappointed as I had been looking forward to my day at the spa. I still can’t believe I paid what I did for that facial
If you love the original spa in Kohler Wisconsin this is a faithful replica. It’s beautiful with a wonderful soaking pool and resting room in addition to top notch therapists. The services are wonderful although the desk staff could afford to be a bit less subservient and take things a bit less seriously. Leave yourself an extra hour before or after your treatment to enjoy the facility. This is hands down the best spa in the neighborhood.
I visited Kohler Spa for my birthday last week and I was initially very impressed by the welcoming staff and their professionalism. Where they failed was in the quality of products used and the lack of communication when their voicemail states they will call you back but never do. I went to Kohler Spa hoping to get an awesome manicure and pedicure and I initially didn’t mind spending more than double the price to get pampered at a Spa but now I regret it altogether. I had a gel manicure done and that polish only lasted me one day and it began to peel off later that day and even after going back to have it fixed the polish continued to peel each day after that. The pedicure was also just as bad because the polish did not dry after hours of my toes being out (which is unheard of). I don’t blame the nail tech because she was more than happy to resolve the issue but the gel nail polish didn’t last 2 days much less 2 weeks! The quality of products don’t match up to the overpriced services. I wont be returning and wouldn’t encourage anyone I know to go there
Amenities were very nice. Wishing more staff was available to replace items like cool towels and water bottles in the hot tub area, also to gently remind spa goers to wear their masks, as we had to move because of a group not following protocol. Overall great experience and my massage was lovely.
Had a work related outing to this location. Very clean and comforting location. Main desk personnel is very nice and explained everything to me as I was a new customer to this Spa. The locker rooms are a bit snug, not much private area to change or to spread around. The lounging area is open and vast, plenty to spread for groups and individuals. The only downside, and it’s disappointing, was the staff… my male massage therapist missed the mark a few times. Didn’t explain too well the entering process as I was a new customer, but the massage itself was rather relaxing. For $100+ I was expecting a bit more in means of massage and body therapy. The location has smoothies available but the staff does not ask if you want one, you have to ask for the menu first. I also had my light snack on a table taken away while I went away for a quick moment to the restroom. There was also some confusion as I thought the front desk mentioned to me I did not need a mask in the relaxation area and the pool, however, other staff members had mentioned we needed to have masks on. Even as we were eating the light snacks and smoothies, rather counterintuitive. This is a nice outing for the local area, but I would not 100% recommend this location. I expected more.
Unreal! No detail spared. Excellent spa and I will be going back soon. Best spa I've been to, ever. GO!
Awesome massage and facilities.
I can't not get through to anyone at this spa. They continue to send me emails -- workout a cancellation option--confirming appointments I have tried up cancel. The digital experience and customer service after outdated and lack basic functionality.
The kohler waters spa on kohler is my happy place. The spa in LP is a close second. You feel calmer just walking in. Use the hot tub spa....each little cove has jets for a different part of your back. Locker area seems a little tight, but amenities are great! Services are stellar. Wish they could have food/lunch service, but I'll be back!
The Best spa in Chicago. I could sit by the pool all day. Jodie, the massage therapist was fantastic.
This is such a nice spa where you can get away from the hussle and the bussle of everyday life. Take an hour or two out of your week to spend time for yourself, and relax and enjoy the suroundings and treat yourself, because you earned it.
I wish I could give this place 5 stars but it completely fell short of my expectations. I am an avid spa goer- my girlfriends and I tour around the city, experiencing new spas and returning to the ones we love monthly. I have to stay- for the brand and price- I was expecting something TOP notch. It started when I walked in and was told that the hydrotherapy machine was broke and that I would have to pick another service. Normally, I would be understanding but come on- this is your claim to fame! Not to mention- I just received a massage a week earlier so was looking for something more experiential and new. I already had a facial booked following my massage so couldn’t pick that. The front desk said they could make a couple of recommendations and so I accepted and after telling me about the Thai massage, decided to go with that. Keep in mind, I arrived 20 minutes before my appt so assumed it would be plenty of time to take a quick tour and get changed- nope. They had my friend and I sit in the lobby until our appt time and then rushed us off to our therapy rooms instead of getting into our cozy robes. When I get to the room, the massage therapist tells me that I remained completely clothed for this massage and asked if I had yoga pants to change into. What?! It was a Friday night- I had just come from work so was in jeans and a work sweater. WHY WOULDN’T THEY RECOMMEND ANOTHER SERVICE BASED ON WHAT I WAS WEARING?! For those of you who have never had a Thai massage before- imagine getting stretched by for 50 minutes wearing restrictive jeans and under garments. Not comfortable. I end my first service and am escorted to the locker room finally to change. Thankfully! And then head back up to the relaxation room where they told me to wait for my service and that someone would come get me. I would say about 15 minutes went by and no one came to get me so went out and asked if they would be getting me soon only for it to be my esthetician who said she has been waiting on me this entire time and that she thought I was getting changed?! She was very nice and swooped me back to the room where I received one of the best facials and service (which is why I’m giving 2 stars) but only wish I didn’t feel rushed (not her fault but the lack of coordination). When checking out, it was a complete cluster. I understand they were new but with a high end establishment like that, more training was absolutely needed. They had to change our bills (I came in with a total party of 5) at least 2 times each (we were late to our dinner reservations at 8:30). Last but not least, the esthetician recommended a couple of products which I decided to purchase but told the woman at the front that I think one of the products was wrong based on her description and what was written in the booklet. She assured me it was the right one so I just went with it. Well now after some time using it, I did some research and it was definitely the wrong product. I hope they workout the kinks and can retain repeat clients.
A nice treat...very relaxing environment with great service.
Wonderful place to relax with friends , the Wisconsin branch is a tad bit better in terms of service though
Absolutely the best spa treatment center in the area! The service and offerings are like no other! Granted, I've never been to a spa before, but for the price of what was included, you get the best service for your buck. I personally went with the Kohler Waters Wrap Signature Treatment and it didn't disappoint. Didn't have a chance to use their complimentary pool, hot tub and sauna, but will next time. Definitely going back to try other services!
I have attended the spa twice for two different services: facial and massage. The amenities are wonderful- whirl pool, sauna, lockers room, and relaxation lounge all are great. The staff was good about keeping area clean and refreshments filled. However, my two services were subpar. First of all, my facial was cut short by 20 min because i walked in for 2 pm apt. they could not find me in the system, and said my apt was never confirmed (which i had made online then called to confirm). However, my guests apt was confirmed. This became an issue that occurred at the beginning and the end of the apt. The worst part was instead of rushing me into the service, warning me of a late start, the staff showed me around the space, offered me tea etc. In no way warning we of a shortened service. The facial was very rough, I almost questioned if that was okay for my skin but figured since I would go along with it since I had never received the anti-aging facial. The towels were itchy, i received no extractions and two days later I am having dry patches all over my face. A few days later, I returned for a massage. My partner said it was the best massage he had ever had (so request Luisa). My massage was subpar, i left with back pain. It seemed very scattered and not intentional. Non of my knots were rubbed out and if I asked for more pressure I just received an elbow in my back. I was hoping to get some tension out of my shoulder blades. I will still return as the spa is new and the staff was friendly and facility was clean and relaxing. However, next time I do get a massage I will ask for Luisa.
This spa is such a nice getaway in the city. The space is really large so that feels great. Facilities are quite nice. I would highly recommend!
AWESOME experience! The service and facility was great. Looking forward to going back soon.
Amazing massage! Got the CBD one and it was fantastic. Was able to take advantage of the hot tub, cold pool, steam rooms & saunas beforehand all with amazing service. Definitely recommend if you’re looking to splurge!
Description of services is unclear and customer service is fair. I was expecting a top notch massage and walked away disappointed with a service that was lame. Facilities are nice, but don’t make up for the poor massage.
Great place for relaxation.
What a treat and relaxing experience - thank you
An oasis in Lincoln Park. We visited Kohler, WI two months ago and really enjoyed it. Finally, had a chance to visit the Lincoln Park location. This place is more intimate and relaxation is the best. The spa Manager Lauren went above and beyond to make sure we are well taken care of (our masseuse called in sick) even though the spa was short staffed. Bill my masseuse was amazing. He was able to take out all the knots I had in my shoulders. My wife was very satisfied as well with Mellisa's the service. All in all this place is 5 stars and will definitely be back soon!
My husband booked my experience online a month previous to my birthday, today...4/26/21. Thank Goodness we had a print out of the appointment but to no avail, Kohler did not have to reservation in the system. So, I have to wait more than an hour for a massage. I received a “speedy” facial while I waited which I was told I wouldn’t be charged for. This entire experience (or lack thereof) should be free of charge! I was so excited to rave about this location. Now, I have nothing but what you are reading now. I’ll update if the experience gets better but right now, I am very disheartened and it is not how I expected to start my birthday celebration.
Amazing!
Service was amazing. Kohler body treatment ???????????? definitely took advantage of the world pool sauna and steam inhalation! Very relaxing! Best Spa in the city! ????????????
I have yet to visit this location, although I have been to Burr Ridge. The front desk / scheduling staff at LP are not very helpful and don’t seem to know what they are doing.
Best spa experience!
I’ve been to a few five star spas, and this was the best spa experience I have ever had. I’m recommending this to everyone I know. The lavender rain treatment was phenomenal, as are the relaxation facilities with the whirlpool and saunas. 10/10
The best !
Amazeballs! Must go.
Lovely! Employees are lovely, space is lovely, calming. Services r above & beyond. I highly recommend Kohler.
I have been to all the other Kohler spas, so was excited to check out this location. Overall my experience was excellent. This is recently opened, so the customer experience wasn't as great as what I have come to expect from Kohler. Some of the employees were not quite as polished and graceful, I am sure they will improve with time. I laughed as some of the reviews that compare this to a "Gym spa" - this is definitely a high end spa with all the amenities and a price to reflect that. There are some design flaws, which I mainly attribute to the constraints of the location. I did not care for the full view windows into the main spa area. I could see employees carrying a variety of mops, dusters, rags, cleaning supplies, etc pass us by every 5 minutes. Not to mention, the stares from all the fully clothed guests, who were shown around the space. Some frosted glass or drapes will fix this. For a luxury spa like this, I also expect some spa snacks other than stale nuts and water. The teas were excellent, but my services were long and I was absolutely starving by the end - they also do not have any spa food offerings to purchase. The services were outstanding, I highly recommend the Vichy shower treatments, they are truly one of a kind. Overall would visit again, but I prefer the Wisconsin location
Underwhelming. With all of the hype of the Wisconsin spa, I was expecting a lot. Instead, I found the facilities to be low quality and terribly designed. The men's locker rooms are extremely strange. You walk directly into the changing area, which is very tiny with small benches. The lockers are way too small: I couldn't fit my clothes and bag in one locker, and had to use two. The fact you're visible by the door makes changing uncomfortable, and due to the small size, I can't imagine having more than three people in there at a time. I took a shower and was disappointed. The shower curtains are cheap white plastic ones you'd expect at a budget hotel. The entire area is very brightly lit. I felt like I was at a hospital and not a spa. The service was alright and fairly priced. Again, the lights are way too bright everywhere though. Overall, I'm very disappointed and surprised at how bad the facilities are given it's brand new.
