Owners wants attention for this location very few people are good. Maximum people are money minded and looking shortcut after start Massaging. Started nicely then start lazy activity to finish the timing. They called 1 hour started 15 minutes late finish 15 minutes early so only 30 minutes for massage 15 minutes act nicely one massage therapy and then finish with shortcut way. Management have to train people.

The front desk staff is always very friendly and polite. Lee Campbell is a phenomenal masseur. He uses great technique and isn't too conversational (which I like). I plan to start a membership soon. The only downside is the front is small and gets crowded very easily.

Still had concealer and flecks of mascara under my eyes after my facial. Considering how expensive it was, having makeup left behind and a face feeling unclean is unacceptable and a complete waste of money. Basic facial included nothing but a simple face wash so add ons of $40-$90 were required for any noticeable changes, yet I still had to wash my face afterwards. Will not return.

I got a massage for the first time there in early March. Once you get to the back, it's very calm and peaceful. In the waiting room area however, it's very crowded. It was like an assembly line of appointments and I felt rushed. If you're a regular, you're used to this. Prices are decent if you're a member and if you have a flexible schedule. It took me several months to get in so I couldn't possibly make a monthly membership worthwhile. My massage with Mari was great, although it was more like 45 minutes than 60 minutes. I could have used more pressure too but apparently that is considered a deep tissue massage and would cost extra. There are also additional fees for aromatherapy oils and hot towels.

I have been a loyal customer for several years. I booked a session for my husband and I and I ended up missing my appointment (no call no show) due to a family emergency. I wasn’t able to get in touch with them for a week and when I did, I found out they had used 2 of my services to cover the missed appointment. The reason they did was because the card they were trying to charge kept getting denied. That particular card has been compromised due to fraud so I also changed my card on file and paid for my month. I was told the manager would get back in touch with me that day (didn’t happen) to see if they could refund me my 2 services used and allow me to pay for half the cost of the massages (policy) instead of using 2 full services. I found out today that there is a 72 hour refund process on cancellations therefore I can’t get back my 2 services used and that they will note on my account not to do that again in the future. I have no issue paying what the policy states, which is half the cost but no one even called me to ask or notify me that they were going to use 2 full services instead. To have been a customer for so years, this is just unacceptable. Life happens and someone should have reached out to let me know the card was being declined, as it had been placed on hold due to fraud. I would have been happy to change the card and pay for the cost at that point. I’ll be ending my business with them which is sad because I’ve always gone there for facials and massages. I’ve also referred many friends. In such unprecedented times, I would expect a business to treat their customers better.

I initially signed up a few months ago and had great service. I would upgrade to the aromatherapy each time. This last visit, I decided to cancel my membership after I had an awful experience with a new massage therapist there. I arrived 15 minutes early and was seen a few minutes after my appointment time. The girl doing my massage milked the clock through out the massage. She took almost 10 water breaks and was rolling her eyes through out the massage waiting for it to end. I was silent. She made me feel so uncomfortable as she kept putting pressure on my butt and it was unnecessary to the massage. I have had so many massages there, but this one was awful. There was no air flow in the room and I felt like I was suffocating. When I finally left the room, it wasn’t even fifty minutes later. Walking out, I requested not to tip her and the women behind the counter said, “you want to give her $10, right?” I said no, but she repeated herself again and again. I ended up just standing down because the room was full and I felt pressured into tipping. I cancelled, but was told that I would have to make an additional month’s payment. I feel so awful about going back and having to pay for an additional $59.99 for another uncomfortable service. ???????? I cancelled my membership because of the way I was treated by Jessie.

This is not my favorite facial place. The atmosphere is great, and the staff is welcoming. The facials, however, I feel are rushed and many minutes spent without hands on my face. My best facial (at another facility) spoiled me and cost the same. When you are laying there wondering what is going on, instead of feeling hands on your face, arms or legs is not a positive. I think it could be better.

Hubby surprised me with a massage and the therapist I had was Scott. He was AMAZING!. He was kind, very professional and caring. Would give this location 5 stars if it wasn't for the unauthorized charge the next day. My hubby checked his account and was charged an extra $40 for a tip that he didnt authorize. Not surprised since before I left the location the 2 girls up front were baggering me to sign up for the monthly plan. When I called about the unauthorized charge, they had the audacity to say she thought I said to charge the tip on my card the next day eventhough I told her I will be leaving a cash tip. Never did I say that since the card on file was my hubby's. Overall the massage itself was great. Scott was great but their desperate need for money/business is off-putting.

I enjoyed the massage however when I was asked what kind of massage I wanted I requested a relaxing massage but I wanted firm on my shoulders and lower back. I felt like the therapist wanted me to say the word deep tissue not knowing that it was an upgrade and I would be charged. At check out I tipped the therapist and was later called and told that I never checked out. My tip ended up in someone else account and I was charged for deep tissue when I was never told it would be an upgrade. The money isn’t the issue it’s the principle

Awful experience. The company and their management does not disclose fees related to cancellation. I called and cancelled an appointment and the person who answer the phone didn’t say anything regarding cancellation fee. I couple hours later they left a voicemail telling me about the fee. The day after called and talked to the office manager Michelle which was not professional, over talking when I try to explain the situation and lack of information, she referred to the contract I signed in small letters. Please be careful and ask before you sign any contract. I do not recommend this place. ****Update: They called me next day and remove the cancellation fee . Apology accepted.

Me and my husband scheduled a message for our 2 year anniversary. We didn’t get to celebrate our first anniversary so we were really looking forward for this year’s celebration. I was with a lady and he was with a guy. The appointment was at 8:30 am and because of traffic we arrived 7 minutes late. My husband’s masseur was waiting at the door for him and as soon as he walked in the room he had a terrible attitude, like he definitely didn’t want to be there. When I asked my husband how the message went he told me the masseur only did his neck and back, when it was supposed to be a full body massage. I asked why and apparently my husband asked for him to focus more on the lower back because he was only focusing on the sides of his back, so the masseur made him choose between massaging his legs or just doing the lower back ??? My husband said lower back since he hadn’t worked on it and that was his main discomfort spot. Also he told me the guy was extremely rough. He had to hold his breath anytime the masseur put pressure in his back. This was supposed to be a “relaxation “ massage. My masseuse arrived 30 minutes late to my appointment which was at 8:30 as well. I know traffic can get really bad but once she arrived I was expecting for her to at least excuse herself and apologize for the delay, but that didn’t happen. We were 7 minutes late and in the first 5 minutes they called us to ask if we were gonna make it or not. If a business is that strict and punctual with their costumers, I would expect the same for the employees. Especially since they are penalizing costumers if for any reason they don’t make it to the appointment. My message on the other hand was really nice. She did a great job and worked all of my body, from head to legs. I’m extremely disappointed and mad about my husband’s though, since I did this more for him than myself. I also paid and tipped in advance, if I had know his was that terrible I wouldn’t have tipped his masseur at all.

Had a facial with them. The experience started off pretty okay. I was relaxed for the most part. Suddenly the products that the masseuse were putting on my face started to burn, one right after the other. I told her, but she kept saying “don’t worry that’s normal.” She pitched a few other services to me, I declined. After the facial, of course I was pitched the membership. I also declined. The decoration of the place is nice, but I feel like they’re more focused on making a commission than providing excellent service for the clients. Lastly, it’s been three days since the facial, and these white heads keep coming on my face. I NEVER get acne and rarely have breakouts. I wanted to try a massage there, but now I probably won’t be back.

Smells wonderful when you walk in. Definitely checks you into a relaxation mode when you enter the front doors. Immediately relaxes you mentally and prepares you for what is to come! The staff was extremely knowledgeable and very informative. They were welcoming and knew how to answer all my questions. My massage therapist was a killer (in a good way)!! I went in for a deep tissue and I got exactly what I asked for - I feel like I went to the gym and had a great workout! Still sore after a few days but again this is a good thing!! Not to be confused in a negative way, she worked out all my knots out and it hurt so good. I'd share her name but I'd hate for her to always be booked by all you deep tissue massage lovers haha! Just kidding - ask for Marisa she's awesome!!

So fist time having a massage in almost 12 years and fist timers ever having a facial. Let’s start with the massage. I had mine at 6pm and Wendy was my massage therapist, she was very sweet and me being a little nervous she seems to calm me down about the whole process. She asked me questions about my stressful areas and where I hold the most tension. During the process I can honestly say that she paid attention to every stressful spot on my body even places I didn’t know tension was being held. I Hidden for very smooth and soft and she was very gentle and strong in areas that she needed to be, if that makes sense. Overall I can’t wait to go back for my next massage I would definitely recommend getting a massage from hand and stone. Now with the facial I had no idea what to expect and no idea what I was going into I can’t remember who did my facial but she also did my eyebrows. She too was very sweet and made me feel like I have know who for sometime. She did a great job examining my skin ,asking questions and suggested an adequate upgrade for the session. No unlock the massage I do not see myself going to often for facial As I don’t think that I need it that often because I feel I need a massage more. But I would definitely go back to get the facial. Definitely try this place I can either get a massage or a facial for first time used to $59.99 . And then if you decided this is something that you can do monthly and sign up for the membership definitely worth it.

I can't even begin to state my displeasure with this place. My daughter surprised me with a massage for my birthday. Unfortunately, I was also surprised with breakfast plans and had a conflict in my schedule. I asked to reschedule the massage and was informed that they had other available times for the day but because it was with other massage therapists, I would be charged $30 to move the appointment. I completely understand "policy" but the notes even said it was a gift. To go into your policy explanation as a reason why you had to charge me after you clearly knew I wasn't the purchaser was poor service. Great start to my birthday...and no need to reschedule. If you treat your customers like that, you won't be getting my business.

I took my 14 year old granddaughter in for a facial for treatment of acne. My granddaughter was very nervous prior to the appointment. The staff really made her feel welcome and comfortable. The staff each talked to her about their own experiences of anxiety at her age. Veronica treated her and talked to her during the whole session and my granddaughter was very happy with her treatment. This was my first professional massage, so I was kind of nervous. Angel took time to go over my information sheet, explained everything, and answered any questions I had. I loved the heated table, and I felt completely pampered during the massage. That is the most relaxed I have been in a long time. It's a too expensive for me to get massages on a regular basis, but I'll hint to my husband that it makes a great present. :)

I had a facial over 5 years ago and had the worst experience ever (not at a h&s) so i never wanted to get one again but my mother in law insisted I get one for my bday since i do wear makeup frequently. I am so happy I said yes, I came in for a facial with Stephy and she is the sweetest person ever. It felt like i was hanging out with a friend, i loved the girl talk. Everything was perfect. My skin is glowing. I signed up for a membership and made my next appointment with her for the following month. TRY STEPHY, YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!

I booked a prenatal massage and facial. Booking the two was a hassel. Maybe they dont have many estheticians? While on the phone the receptionist was nice, but repeated back a few times that I'd be charged for canceling my appointment and went so far as to take my credit card number even though I was using a gift card, which I was ok with. I was reminded of the cancelation policy once again when they called to confirm. I cleared my schedule just for them to call 2 hours before my appointment and cancel the massage. I was obviously frustrated, so the owner called me back. He was very polite, but just kept repeating that I wouldn't be charged. Well of course not, I didn't cancel! He just didn't seem to care to understand why this was a problem. If they are going to be so strict on their cancellation policy, then I feel them canceling is very unprofessional. Another franchise was able to get me in at my original appointment time without asking for a credit card to book, interesting.

My masseuse was Marissa and I am a very shy person so I hate telling people what my problem is and what I’d like to focus on so when she asked I just said nothing. Obviously I thought I would regret not telling her because the whole point of a massage is to help you but when Marissa was working on me she would hit a certain spot and just know that’s where I needed more attention. She was amazing! And the girl who works the front counter Theresa is super sweet and very helpful. 10/10 would come again!

I scheduled a decompression massage for the first time and a classic facial. It was better than I expected. The massage therapist was very sweet and knowledgeable and I highly recommend trying the decompression with someone with experience, she did great. I upgraded to microderm treatment and it was amazing, left feeling brand new! Very sweet and professional staff. Definitely will be back for myself and with my friends and family

First time. Did a couples massage. Unfortuntely not one of the best massage I've ever gotten. I asked for light to medium pressure and it felt like I just got a rub down with cold lotion. I asked for more pressure and it still was not suffice. The ambiance was satisfactory but do not expect any aromatherapy scents, robe, or spa slippers. Imagine having your massage appt you made weeks ago cancelled on either the day before or the day of, not once, not twice but three times in a matter of months and no replacement for your time slot or nothing else available. Imagine another time when you're looking forward to having a facial and a massage and neither person showed up. I did not have to imagine it. It happened to me!! The frustration was not worth it. I cancelled my membership. Totally unreliable and irresponsible. BTW, I was offered one complimentary service for all my ordeal. Nice but nicer would be having reliable people.

First time getting a massage from the company hand and stone today and I was really looking forward to it all week. I had a “deep tissue” massage and was very disappointed with it. I requested a male for a reason for deep tissue because usually they really get in there and work out my areas. When I asked for hard pressure upon entering and also inside of the room, the man laughed and continued to do light work. They seem to be money hungry, and practically beg you to join the membership. My mom and I are new to the area, and her experience with a lady performing a “deep tissue” massage here was also very disappointing for her. We were looking to start a membership with a good place but unfortunately we both will not be returning. Hopefully this review can help out future customers, and the owners of this place.

I have been a client here for over 3 years and I have never experienced a bad moment. The receptionists are always nice and attentive. Abby is literally the best in the business. Everything about the Lake Nona spa makes you feel expensive, valued, and worth it. Also, the place is very clean and organized!

I was gifted 2 massages by husband for Christmas. Made an appt. and the morning of appt. they called to cancel it. Worker was sick. I understand, I will call back for another appt. I called and had to leave a msg. which they never returned. I called again, set up new appt. day before they call to tell me worker quit and could I move appt.(on msg) I call back and let them know that this is not ok. Quit moving appts, it's causing more stress just to set up appt with them. Finally appt made and had massage. First one there in waiting room but last one to be called back and also first one done. I'm not sure it was even 40 minutes long. I'll use my other gift card and go back to my other massage place. There's never parking and the whole operation makes me tense. Not what you want for a place that's supposed to be relaxing for you.

I to this Lake Nona location and immediately I get greeted by a nice young lady but then next to her which look like a supervisor rudely interrupted our conversation giving me other promotional rates that I didn't even ask for. I understand that there is a waiting list right now but I specifically went for one thing and was getting over charged right away. I did my research before arriving but what I got was poor customer service. I will never recommend this location to anyone.

Called to make an appointment and was repeatedly advised of their cancellation policy. This seemed to be more of a concern than booking multiple appointments. Had to repeatedly give information about Guest names and service requests only to be told. Oh no, that won't work, let's do it all over. Once finally booked correctly I was asked for credit card info. I advised two were paying with Gift Cards and I was paying with cash. Sorry,, we must have a credit card or we can't confirm your booking. Seriously? Half hour waisted with someone who can't stop talking like a moronic Barbie doll and then I can't get a confirmation. Epic Fail & Pass!

I had a “massage” with Cassandra who asked me nothing about if there was an area I wanted to work on...just immediately just told me to upgrade to the hot stone massage...I said perhaps my second time.. then told me as I was laying on the bed I needed to try the CBD so I said just said yes and I had 50mins of someone just oiling me with the lightest touch imaginable! Felt like a joke. Felt like my 3 year old rubbing her soft little hand on my arm but for 50 mins. To say that I got a massage today would be a lie! I can’t imagine that I just paid $90 to have nothing... literally I only felt her fingertips lightly brushing me the entire time with a bunch of oil! I felt like this was joke but apparently she’s been there a month so I must be insane. DONT WASTE $ here. All they care about is “upgrading” I just flushed money away today and am now frustrated.

If you are looking for the most relaxing and therapeutic facials please ONLY SEE MCKENZIE! As someone who has consistently had facials for the past 10 years I've gotten pretty good at identifying a good facial from a sub par one. She is awesome! She takes the time to really understand your skin, your concerns, and your goals. She also takes the time to educate you about your skin and how to keep it in the best shape. My skin concerns are acne, texture, and hyperpigmentation. She not only leaves my skin flawless after facials but she has also helped me implement products into my skincare regimen that look to help all of those issues at once. My skin is so much brighter and smoother now. She cares ALOT about her clients and only recommends products that will absolutely help you. She really gives her 100% to make sure you leave satisfied and with noticeable results!!! Her facial massage and neck and shoulder massages are the literal best. She is super knowledgeable and has tons of experience in aesthetics. If I could book two hours or more with her I totally would. It would be worth every penny. My wife and I scheduled a massage together. Both of us noted problem areas on the intake form and requested "medium" pressure. However, the massage therapist used very light pressure and wore gloves the entire time. It was certainly not an enjoyable experience, especially since the massage ended 5-10 minutes early.

Beware this Hand and Stone will place unauthorized charges on your credit card! I authorized a gifted massage for three of our employees in the amount of $150, then later receive a bill for well over $440. The owner and manager refused to make any adjustment, even though no one granted approval for the additional services provided. This is being re-disputed with our credit card, however very frustrating in the meantime!

Today I had the best massage I’ve had in over three years. I was fortunate to have Lee as my therapist, and after my massage I immediately rebooked with him. After being disappointed by countless therapists since moving to FL, my massage with Lee was worth every penny. Finally, I’ve found someone who understands how muscles work and is skilled at manipulating them. The spa itself is very clean and nicely equipped. Heated tables, comfortable sheets and face rests. Scheduled a couples massage a week in advance had a very specific conversation on cost one of us has been there multiple times and the other not ever. I was told i would be 69.95 plus a $10 up charge so 79.95 and my husband would be 49.95....we had a $50 gift card so I would pay 79.95 and when I get there I'm told it's 119.95 an additional $50. She said if we went in separate rooms it would be 79.95 when I specifically said we wanted a couple massage over the phone hence the $10 up charge. So fine seperate rooms, but no, they didn't have an extra room available so a big waste of our time, hired baby sitter for our newborn etc. and much needed relaxation just turned into something stressful. At least they waived the cancellation fee what good customer service. ????

The front desk was very nice. My facial wasn't horrible but it wasn't the best. I was disappointed . First facial that I had without getting a quick massage on my hands while waiting on mask to settle . First facial that I had that I get pushed to pay extra / upgrade from regular facial to the Exceptional facial-(Rejuvenating) , promising for more extraction . I stated that my main target for extraction was my nose so I agreed to pay the additional $20, the results was very disappointed after I checked my face at home. I don't mind to pay extra but as customer I expected to see results. I decided to cancel my next appointment with the technician MCKenzie and returned cleanse product that I felt obligated to purchase and I didn't need. MCKenzie was very nice even thus I was not happy with her performance with my 1st facial at Hand & Stone.
