I’ve gone to Avita Health for several years for physio and massage, and I keep coming back because of the highly skilled and friendly staff. I see Collin Kirby (physio), Patrick Renny and Richard Phillips (RMT) and always leave feeling significantly better than when I arrived! Not only are their treatments incredibly beneficial, they also get to know you and provide exceptional one on one care. Dr Ryan has been fantastic with my chronic shoulder and back issues. I have been to many chiropractors but Dr Ryan's approach is very different. It is tailored to you and there is more time spent on understanding underlying issues. He does not just do an adjustment rather spends at least 20 minutes on muscles as well. Highly recommend.

Not only is it a beautiful set up, but the physio I saw (Andrew) was super kind and helpful. My boyfriend was with me and he’s seen many physios over his years of bike injuries/etc, and he agreed that this place was great, and we both want to come back to try out their massage therapists too! Highly recommend. (I also got a same day appointment and that was amazing - great service and didn’t have to wait days for it!)

Terrific experience with Dr Ryan. Knowledgable and friendly support staff as you walk in the door. Fairly priced and don't try to sell you on a million more appointments. They figure out what's wrong and work within your means to fix what's wrong. Highly recommended to anyone in Vancouver,it's worth the trip to North Van even if you don't live there. If you're looking for chiro, consider Dr. Ryan as I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

The physio I worked with here, was hands down the best I have worked with, in over 20 years of seeing physios for hypermobile knee issues. He really took the time to assess my situation, and really watch my form through movements. As suspected, the issues were a lot broader than the initial consult showed, and every week, he dug deeper, reviewed progress and made useful, reachable suggestions. Highly recommended! The place itself is clean and well maintained (individual treatment rooms rather than an open gym style), the staff are friendly and helpful and above all the expertise was phenomenal!

Omg I don’t know where to start! I started going to Avita after I got highly recommended to see Daniel (chiropractor). I made an appointment with Dereck for a massage first & then right after with Daniel. The receptionist team was super helpful & even placed me on a cancellation for an earlier opening! Dereck & Daniel are super professional & very nice guys! Both took really well care of me & you can tell how passionate they are about there job. I saw Daniel today for the second time and he is amazing! He listens to you and is very careful with what he does! And the best part is IT WORKS! I had immediately results! I highly recommend him! Best chiropractor on the north shore! Thank you for helping me & taking care of my pain! 5 stars and more!!

Very happy to have found this clinic and Andrew Flynn as my physiotherapist! He was able to provide much relief to my chronic elbow pain with a wide variety of treatments (e.g., shockwave, needling), recommendations for exercises, and really great insights on the healing process. Andrew is also polite, kind, and funny! The clinic has warm decor, great receptionists, and extremely comfortable seating in the waiting area. Street parking is generally easy to find. Five stars all around!

I’ve been going to Avita for massage therapy and chiropractic services for a couple of months. Normally people associate chiropractic sessions with experiencing painful treatments but these are not Dr. Birch’s sessions. He is extremely gentle, knowledgeable and considerate of one’s pain that makes every session very effective and satisfying. Thanks to him after each session, I walk out of the room so light and painless while all the stiffness is gone. Also, he suggests videos of exercises for different areas of body that everyone can watch and do without harming themselves. The massage therapists I have been seeing are Andrea and Bev. Both are very professional and I feel relaxed, and relieved of pain and soreness at the end of each session.

My only issue was finding the place. But once I did it's a nice lobby with friendly staff. The massage was great and helped a lot. My massage therapist was friendly and professional. She even helped suggest stretches to help avoid some of my most troublesome muscle aches! Will definetly be going back. Another great thing was they charge directly to your Health insurance coverage so you don't have to pay out of pocket or have to submit receipts! Big time saver for sure.

Had custom orthotics made that didn't fit right. When I asked to return them I was charged 120 in random fees along with 2 physio therapy sessions that were billed to my insurance without my consent. I asked why and was told services were provided so I was being billed. At first I was told I was there for 15 min, then the story changed to half an hour. After going back and forth explaining how NO physio services were provide so it would be fraud to charge me for that, and that I'm not responsible to pay someone's wage when I'm returning a product as a unsatisfied customer I was given a cancel on one of the charges, and told I was not welcome to come back to the clinic. I would strongly advice anyone dealing with Pat (office manager) to keep in mind she is a bully, and when things don't go her way she will laugh at you on the phone and then make you feel stupid for spending over $1000 in services over the last year. Very disappointed that a clinic who has won so many awards behaved this way

He suggests exercises that relieve discomfort and help improve strength. These are accompanied by a series of videos that explain how and what to do.
