Not one complaint about this school. I am beyond thrilled with the education I received. Deb is a very knowledgable and supportive instructor who has a clear passion for what she is doing. The classroom size is small enough to receive individual attention while also building a sense of community with fellow students. The staff is very flexible… working with each student to meet their scheduling and educational needs. Both full time and part time tracts are offered. I looked into many other schools and had just about given up before I found Body in Mind. I would highly recommend this institution. Whether you are looking for a massage or a career as a therapist, BIMMI is top of the line.

You will not find a better place to begin your journey as a healing artist. I had researched a couple of schools and as soon as I spoke to Mary, I knew she was the one I wanted to learn from. The staff has decades of real world experience in the many facets of massage therapy; from different types of spas and facilities to the multitude of therapeutic modalities you as a therapist can learn. The education is second to none. Not only will you be prepared for the state licensing exam but you'll also have the knowledge you will need in your career of helping others. The facility is set up and run as professional spa; so from the client's view it does not look like a school at all and as a student your transition to working after graduation will be virtually seamless. After graduating my resume always received quick attention due to having been educated at BIMMI. I scheduled a deep tissue 90 min massage online the only massage therapist showed available named Joan. I was so enthusiastic and hoping to get the deep tissue massage as booked. It was not even close to deep tissue the pressure was so low I needed to speak up many times to Joan that I need deeper pressure which made me uncomfortable to remind her since I booked a deep tissue massage. I walked in pain and walked out in pain. Not recommending if someone truly need a pressure as the massage i got was a joke. Also, Joan ended the massage 15 min earlier and removed the clock from the wall probably so I dont see the time. I was like wow I just saw the clock on the wall and she removed it once she walked out. I felt like a waste of money for the service received

They offer a very in depth certification program that results in highly skilled massage therapists. I love that they offer student clinics that are not only affordable, but gives their students an opportunity to demonstrate and improve their skills in a real spa setting. They are very professional and ethical too.

I graduated from BIMMI this past August! I dreaded going back to school after ten years of being out of college but I needed to make more money for my family and work less hours. When I sat down with Mary the owner/teacher and told her my fears of not being able to take a test well and not learning quickly she assured me that I would do just fine and graduate. The first two weeks I was so overwhelmed with learning the body. I was leaving in tears. With a lot of prayer and asking Mary how I could understand the body better I was finally understanding, learning and memorizing. Mary was so understanding and such a great teacher. We had a small class of four so we became a little family for ten months. Well, I still consider them like family! We had a great ten months! Went on a class trip to the body exhibit in NYC and did many functions to earn hands on hours. Graduation came. I couldn't believe that I was actually graduating!!!! I honestly never believed in myself but Mary believed in me! For that I am so thankful! So thankful! Now I'm currently working as a Licensed Massage Therapist and not only am I making great money I'm working in a peaceful environment and my clients are feeling amazing when they leave which makes me feel humbled! Mary helped us students start the licensing process, write our resumes and set up a career night to meet local employers. As a therapist that came from a great school and continue to get massaged myself I can see and feel the difference for other therapists that did not go to BIMMI. Their techniques and their attitude such as "are they really here for the client or are they here just for a paycheck?" When I started looking into schools around this area I was intrigued with BIMMI for the location, cost and reviews. I'm so thankful that I chose BIMMI! If your looking for a change in your life and you think massage therapy would work for you then sign on as student for BIMMI! You won't be displeased! I'm beyond grateful and thankful for this opportunity that came along! I seriously love my career!

The staff is friendly and very caring. They want to make you feel at home and take care of your personal needs each and every time. I leave there after my massage each time in such a wonderful relaxed state that my next few days are great!!! Each of the massage therapists are great so you cannot lose whoever you pick. I came to body in mind for a trigger point massage. I used to receive massages monthly before moving to NJ and wanted to find a new location. I am someone who needs pressure. I explained to the woman that I have issues with my muscles and emphasized the need for pressure. I didn't receive anything close to what I would have liked. The massage for me may have been like a Swedish massage for others. For the amount of money I spent for the quality of massage, I won't be back.

While researching different Massage Therapy schools, I was drawn to Body In Mind immediately. I loved how involved they were with their students, along with amazing reviews and their Facebook page. On my tour I felt like I was finally home. Mary is a warm, caring and extremely intelligent woman. I was so intimidated by all the school work but she makes learning fun! I will be graduating December 20th 2017 and I have to say I'm really sad to be leaving. I have learned so much in only the 6 months I've been here. Everyone makes you feel like family. As a BIMMI alumni, I have to say it was one of the best decisions I have ever made! My inductor's were amazing and my time and effort was very well spent! Deb's style of teaching not only made it fun and exciting to learn, but also provided all the necessary tools and knowledge needed to confidently launch a career in massage therapy. I had been wanting to pursue massage for a long time before I decided to just go for it. I am so glad that I did. When I began searching for a part time career I went in BIMMI to talk to Mary about the opportunities therapists have and the program they offer. I signed up for the 10 month night class program and I graduated with everything I needed to come out of school with several offers and spas in the area. I have been working for about 8 months and could not be happier with my decision to become a massage therapist. I strongly recommend BIMMI to anyone interested in this career path. Mary teaches you what you need to know offering small class sizes and could not be more helpful. I was able to become very close with my classmates as well as Mary and Jeff. They put their heart and soul into this institute to pass along the knowledge and experience and it shows. 10 out of 10 experience.
