Let’s go back 2 years ago! I’ve never shared this story but better late then never! My name is Julia and about 2 and a half years ago I met a hair “professional” named Darlene. I had long thick brown hair at the time and had reassured them my hair was thick so extra time would be needed. I wanted to go blonde for the first time so I asked if this was possible and was reassured it was possible by Darlene but would take many appointments which I was okay with. The first appointment went well and I left with a Carmel blonde and was scheduled 2 weeks from that date. I showed up for the appointment, during the process, the hairstylist started putting foils in my hair. Some time goes by, I start feeling excess heat on my head. I tell the stylist, she reassures me it’s normal and to wait longer!!! Looking back this is where I should have said something as I was not being taken seriously! Less then 10 minutes goes by the stylist FINALLY decides to check on my hair to be surprised that my hair is already FRIED. She rushes me too the chair while 4 stylists start ripping the tinfoil off while ALL of my hair comes with it. My beautiful head of hair was now a straw short mess. No sorry, no nothing. Months later in public she has the audacity to act like she doesn’t know me while my hair was brittle right in front of her. It was her fault. Extensions will do nothing. My hair is gone. Apology not accepted. You took away my confidence and gave me NOTHING back.
