I am waiting to get back to the clinic as time restraints haven't given me the opportunity, but it is something that I surely miss. Between Sandy and Carly I had a myriad of treatments ranging from recovery of a dislocated shoulder to therapy on a severe ankle sprain. Not only were all parties extremely knowledgeable, but I can confidently say that it was an extreme social pleasure every time I visited. Further to this, there was also a young lady at reception who was an absolute gem, however she has gone back to school. Cant wait to be back!

I have been coming to Doug Freer & Associates for many, many years for massage and physiotherapy. I have never had a bad experience or been disappointment with the service and the staff that have taken care of me. The frontline staff are very welcoming and friendly and they always seem to accommodate the date and time that I need, without a long wait time. Most recently, I have been seeing Ashish Patel for my shoulder and back pain and I must say, he is the most friendliest, generous and professional individual that I have ever had the pleasure working with. He takes the time to explain the exercises given, I never feel rushed at the appointments, he gives me the time to ask questions and allows me address any concerns I may have. I believe that he has helped me physically, but also emotionally, as he is really good with explaining self-care and mental health, as they are also important for body healing. Thank you so much! I would and have highly recommended Doug Freer & associates to my friends and family.

I can't say enough amazing things about this clinic. I came to this clinic to recover from a major injury, so I was going 3 times a week for about 3/4 months. In that time I never had a bad or disappointing experience. Marilyn the physiotherapist is excellent, very attentive and informative, making sure you understand what the process for recovery is as well as making sure your informed about why things are done a certain way and how to improve current practices in everyday life and she genuinely cares about your recovery. Renee the occupational therapist is also amazing to interact with, encouraging and supportive and whenever she didn't know the answer to my questions she would always find it immediately. She also seems to have a personal interest in making sure her clients can succeed outside of the office. Even the lovely ladies at the front always very friendly, a couple of them noticed changes I had made and went out of their way to encourage my progress, that tells me they notice how a client is progressing and/or increasing abilities even when they don't have direct contact to the progress plans being set out. It really is an amazing feeling to know that so many people are there to help encourage you and genuinely want to see you progress both in and outside of their office. Thank you!

I haven't been to Doug Freer & Associates for two years, but having just come back I notice it is 'dull'... I had been a patient on and off since 2009 and it was always busy there, people very friendly, a good supply of aids to purchase if required, the television was a good flat screen showing CP24 to keep us up-to-date on the news, and at Christmas it was always decorated so very nice, and calendars (small desk size) were always available to people to 'help themselves'. Now there are no decorations at all, an old television with a sitcom playing, it is not busy at all, and people just seem so bored and dull... It is not an inviting atmosphere, and even all the staff has pretty well changed. Not sure what is going on, but it is like a 'no frills'. But I do like my physiotherapist and will continue going, but whatever is going on in the running of the office, not a very nice place to be!

Exceptional!! If you asked me to sum up the Staff and My Experience in One Word, that's what I'd say!! I'm recovering from a Concussion, Back, Hip & Neck Injury so I was being seen and helped by multiple people for the last year. From Shannon who is my OT, I can not say enough good things about her...her support, her kindness, and her guidance has kept me going and has played a huge part in my recovery. Monica, my Physiotherapist, who recognized my issues and developed a treatment plan for all 4 of my injuries that allowed me to improve at a pace that worked for me, but pushed me as well. Michelle worked wonders for me in the gym, developing an exercise program that allowed me to improve at a pace that my injuries allowed. Even the Ladies at the front Reception desk were always pleasant and greeted me by name and with a friendly smile.

This clinic has saved my life! I started feb. 1st, 2018 I had suffered from chronic vertigo for over 5 months at the time. I was beyond desperate at this point. Sandy Vandyke is my physiotherapist she specializes in vestibular therapy. She has helped me get from couch bound to now I can go the grocery store, Costco, the mall. She designed a program that specifically suits my needs! It has been over a month I am now 40 percent better! just want to write a review about Dr.. Freer and Associated. I have been going to both massage and physio therapy for over a year now.. I do not have words as to how Kim Arts has taken care of my medical needs. She is not only professional...She is kind and understanding. Without her care, I would not be in the place I am. Sandy was my physio therapist and I would have loved to continue with her, unfortunately, there is just no funding for it to contiune. Kim and Sandy have made this horrible life I live...Just a bit better and tolerable I love the staff too..Laura and her team are always helpful and kind. I appreciate the family at Dr Freer and Associated. Not enough words could describe just how I feel. My life would not be the same without them.

The sessions were all very productive with new exercises introduced on a regular basis. Simran is very personable and I'd trust her with any injury needing the care of a physiotherapist.

I had issues with 2 slipped discs, bulging discs, mild arthritis and fibromyalgia. I originally went to another physiotherapist for 6 months prior to my MRI results and she wouldn’t listen when I told her it wasn’t fibromyalgia related for this issue I was having. I was referred to Doug Freer and Associates. My LTD coverage was for 6 weeks and with the amazing, skilled staff, my pain level went from 7-10 to 1-2. With my exercises I continued to do at home, I felt like a whole new person. They listen to your concerns, are very attentive and very friendly. You won’t regret receiving treatment from this establishment!! They did more for me in 6 weeks than my last one did for me in 6 months!! Highly recommend!!

I can't say enough good things about the staff that works at Freer Physio and Massage. I have been there for 2 separate injuries. One for my shoulder as well as my ankle. From start to finish both Doug and Carlie resolved both of my issues and got me back playing rugby much sooner than I would have ever imagined. Doug was bang on with both of his assessments which made treatment all that much easier. Carlie was very thorough and professional during every appointment to make sure my needs were met and progress was made. I recommend this clinic to anyone and everyone that plays a sport and may need some rehabilitation at some point or another. Thanks again

First met Doug many years ago for back physio. He and/or staff have assisted with shoulders, knee surgery after-care and ankle concerns. This past year, Doug assisted with long term ankle problem and eventual referral for ankle/foot fusion. Recent shoulder replacement requires phsio for ensuring range of mobility with Marylin. For these past decades, Doug and staff have been professional in their work and helpful in every way to ensure the best possible results for dealing with my initial pain and eventual successful rehab.

I was successfully treated at this clinic by Monica Caton for right S.I. Joint locking/dysfunction/hip impingement. She is a consummate professional and performed a thorough assessment; identified the problem and explained the mechanics of how this had developed. She ‘unlocked’ the joint and almost immediately relieved the pain. Prior to this I had spent nearly 4 weeks in continual pain (sciatica/piriformis-like). Her knowledge of physiology and its mechanics was encyclopedic. She was able to diagnose a condition I have suffered intermittently from for many years. I have received a slate of core strengthening exercises which should prevent this from happening again. I am grateful beyond words for her skillful treatment. I cannot recommend Monica highly enough!

I have been seeing Sandy van Dyke and Carlie Creed for on and off neck pain that I have been experiencing. She has done manual therapy and craniosacral therapy.
