Laura and her team are true professionals. Laura is able to offer a wide array of services and will customize your visit to suit your needs. She is extremely strong and is able to work on problem areas but she is also great at providing a spa like massage for those times when you just want to treat yourself. Fabulous location with easy parking. They also offer direct billing with your insurance company which is added bonus.

She can adjust her pressure accordingly and is strong enough to do very deep pressure if you can handle it. First time visiting Village Roots today for a 60min massage with Alicia. The building and atomoshpere was very nice, and clean. I liked that I was the only client there, and COVID protocols are above and beyond. Alicia treated my sore muscles/areas of concern effectively and professionally. I will continue to see Alicia for my massage treatments. The best RMT experience I have had!

This has to be the best massage I got in Durham, hands down! Melanie was so professional and skilled and you can clearly see it in her work. I didn't realize the full potential and value of receiving massage therapy services until seeing Laura and the Village Roots team. I've been to other RMTs and clinics and the quality of care does not compare to Village Roots. The rooms are tastefully set-up to welcome an environment of healing and clients are treated with the utmost respect during the entire process. After my concussion massage therapy was recommended to aid in my recovery. Markus has been amazing in my recovery and I credit him with keeping my concussion headaches in check week after week by keeping my shoulders and neck relaxed. One of the best deep tissue massages I've ever had, and will continue to see Markus for regular massage therapy once we get this concussion sorted enough to focus on other problem areas. I would recommend Village Roots to everyone I know. Finding a good massage therapist is harder than you realize, so when you find one, you stick with them! They know what they are doing.

He was totally professional. I addressed my concerns of the areas I needed massage and was very attentive. I’m absolutely pleased and recommend Kal. I’m glad I have a go to in Whitby!!

Laura Sara's technique, knowledge, personality and genuine interest in her clients health is second to none. My wife sees Marcus, and we've each referred friends and family and all can't say enough good about their experiences at Village Roots. After I moved from Whitby to Thornhill, I still make the trip back to Village Roots at least once a month! Highly recommend!

Laura is amazing!! I've been receiving massage therapy for 15 years now, and Laura is by far the best RMT I have had! She works hard (if you like a lot of pressure, she will give it to you) and her passion for what she does shows! She is extremely knowledgeable and has always taken the time to explain things to me if I had questions. She is also super friendly and very attuned to her clients' needs and preferences (i.e. if I feel chatty, she is friendly and social, but if I just want to relax, she gives me peace and quiet). I cannot say enough good things about her and I have recommended her to several friends and family members!
