Mellissa is a very good Massage Therapist, very professional and definitely has lots of knowledge and experience. My visit was related to sports injury, knee pain from squat and in just a single session my pain had almost disappeared. I was very impressed with the quality of service provided. Honestly the best massage I’ve ever had. Mellissa has an unbelievable knowledge of the human body, and how things connect and affect other areas etc (for instance how a spot on top of my shoulder is pinging up to my skull and that’s why I’ve been getting that headache). Mellissa Stone and Ryan Smith have played a HUGE part in helping me correct my posture and reduce fainting spells. After nearly fainting at home, I contacted Mellissa about what may be causing this, as my neck and shoulders were feeling very tight. She explained that it may be a pinched nerve and was able to fit me that day! After that visit, I did not experience another fainting spell. I've also had an amazing experience with Ryan as my massage therapist. He not only knows what he is doing, he also did a great job at making me feel comfortable and answered all my questions. He also was great at finding my trigger points to help reduce pain in my neck. I can't wait for things to open back up again so I can get a much needed massage!

Prior to my first session with Mellissa I had chronic pain in my shoulder and lower back for many years. After just 90 minutes with Mellissa I felt better physically than I had in a very long time! Mellissa is very friendly and is a complete professional. She may also be some sort of wizard as she can make pain and discomfort disappear so quickly it's like magic! I would totally recommend that anyone who has chronic muscle pain like I did pay her a visit ASAP, your body will thank you for it.

Mellissa is the most unprofessional, discourteous and apathetic therapist I have ever met. After seeing her three times with no issues, I had encountered a family emergency the previous night, sending her a message at 10:11 PM to let her know I may not be able to make it the next morning as I drive from Toronto. I messaged her in the morning to tell her I'd be coming. When I walked in her HOME door, someone was sitting in the kitchen watching, while she reamed me out for sending her a message at 10:11 PM. In an undercutting and condescending tone, she angrily muttered, "why did you feel the need to message me last night when you are here. Never ever do that again it is so unprofessional and disrespectful". She wouldn't let up either. No one appreciates being talked to this way. I refused to let her put her hands on me and walked out. Her negative, selfish and rude demeanor far outweighs any benefits noted by previous posters. Avoid her at all costs unless you want her to go nuts on you for some reason or another. How sending a message to inform you that I may not be able to make the morning appointment is an invasion of privacy is beyond me. Update: To prove my point about her unprofessionalism and lack of empathy, Mellissa sent me an invoice the day after the incident requesting payment for the full amount citing: "arrived but decided against the treatment (time is still charged)".

I have extremely tight muscles from many years of lifting heavy weights and also working with power tools in uncomfortable positions for long periods of time. I arranged appointments with Mellissa from Stone RMT to help loosen the tight muscles and to take the pain away. From the first scheduled appointment I already slept better and pain free immediately. I refuse to take any pain medication. Already now in the early stages of my massage therapy treatments my muscles are feeling loose and not so tight with the knots fully going away. I have been seeing Melissa at Stone RMT for some time now and cannot express how grateful I am for her ability and knowledge. When I first met Melissa, I was coming from a shoulder injury where I was told I would need surgery. Personally, I hated the idea of surgery. I didn’t want to risk having my injury worsen by not having surgery done on my shoulders, but I felt optimistic when I learned about Stone RMT. When first meeting Melissa, I quickly noticed her attention to detail, knowledge, ability to understand and her passion for what she does. In fact, I was quite amazed. Upon reaching home after visiting Melissa for the first time, I could already feel a massive improvement in my shoulder area and knew I made the right decision about seeing her. She is not your typical RMT... that you must know! She is a healer of the human body... seriously lol. Last year, I was fortunate enough to have my name pulled from a list of names and won a complimentary 3 time special treatment where Melissa took more time to assess me and focused on my shoulders and other weak areas that were preventing me from feeling myself and effecting me in my daily routine. After each visit, Melissa provided me with tips and tools for myself to apply even while at home, or during workouts to ensure I have the best results and the knowledge I need to prevent the same injuries/pain again. On the third and last visit I noticed a great deal of improvement with my mobility, flexibility and my strength. When my 3 visit treatment was over, well, let’s just say so was my shoulder injury... and the other troubled area's of my body were entirely improved also. Now, It’s a new year and I but most importantly I feel like a new me. An improved version of me... physically and mentally! I'm writing this with others in mind who I believe should hear that surgery is NOT ALWAYS the answer. I of course also write this with a warm heart thanking you Melissa, for improving my health and giving me my strength back! It feels good to be back... and stronger than ever! You are one of the greats! I am grateful to have met you.

I have been getting massages for years and stone RMT is the #1 therapist experience! I thought it would be strange going to a home clinic at first but once you enter it's set up the same as any other clinic. The screening process is simple, the rooms are clean, private and quiet. I always feel accepted and most importantly I have been helped with my pain. I have been getting treatment for years on my shoulder/neck area and Melissa/Ryan have been the only ones to truly work with me and let me get results! They take the time to identify the problems and work through it at YOUR pace. I found Melissa during a desperate Google search for an RMT to help me with the chronic pain in my neck and shoulder. There are no words to express just how grateful I am to be in her care. That pain was almost totally gone in the first 2 sessions I had with her. I have been to many massage therapists, no one, but no one, comes close to her effectiveness and care. She is very passionate in her desire to help relieve people of their pain; her massages are not fluffy experiences aiming to relax; they are rigorous treatments of an issue causing discomfort and/or pain; the treatments may hurt, but they will certainly cure. I went to her because of a returning numbness I was getting in my left arm. After the first session my arm was already feeling MUCH better but after ONLY 3 sessions the numbing sensation no longer exists. If I could, I would be going to her EVERY week. I met Mellissa when playing volleyball. I have had a nagging injury in my forearm that has constant pain from weight training and playing competitive volleyball and badminton. Mellissa offered to help and performed a diagnosis in between sets. She noticed I have hyper-extending joints and this was the cause of the pain in my elbow/forearm. She suggested I limit my range of motion when weight training to alleviate the extra stress on my ligaments. I listened to her and over time I have now been able to play volleyball, badminton and weight train with no pain! She helped me with no prompting on my part, or even any appointment at her facility. This was simply one volleyball player helping another.
