Marie is a skillful RMT who utilizes her background in weightlifting and exercise during treatment. She gives an excellent deep tissue massage and she is very good at locating the right spots that cause referral pain! In addition, she also provides fascial stretch therapy which has been a huge help for my tight hip flexors and glutes. Marie is also a personable therapist which makes the appointment more complete and therapeutic. I highly recommend Marie and Soar Free for your rehabilitation and therapeutic purposes!

I had several issues related to my back, and shoulders due to years of working with poor posture. From heavy lifting I also injured my elbow. Marie provided solution-driven treatment that helped me correct my posture, improve my overall health and wellness. The deep tissue specifically was very effective in eliminating my muscle pain. I was also given advice on how to prevent these types of injuries in the future such as which stretches would help alleviate the pain, activate certain muscle groups and different products that helped. I would 100% recommend this clinic because of the above and beyond guidance towards long-term health which to me added more value than just massage therapy.

I've been going to Marie for massage treatments for the past few years and have thoroughly enjoyed her level of professionalism and ability to pinpoint the sources of discomfort/pain that I was experiencing. As a nurse and powerlifter, I have developed sources of pain/discomfort related to my hips/knees/back/elbows. I have found treatments with Marie to be effective enough that I was comfortable getting back into squatting after being too afraid to aggravate my knee pain! She clearly loves what she does, and it shows in her seamless ability to develop + maintain a strong therapeutic relationship. Highly recommend her for anyone looking for a registered massage therapist, as I travel all the way from Scarborough just to be seen by her :)

HAVE NEVER FELT BETTER!!! Over the years I have tried a number of different massage therapists to help my lower back and upper body due to working a labour intensive job. Marie has by far been one of the most efficient and beneficial professional’s I’ve had a chance to work with. She was able to find the source of my pain/discomfort and use proper technique to fix the problem. Even trying other methods such a cupping to help with past shoulder injuries, I immediately noticed progress the following week at work, my shoulders strength and range of motion has only been improving since. I highly recommend to any one seeking a professional and efficient deep tissue massage

Marie is hands down the best therapist in Durham. I came in with neck, shoulder and lower back issues from sports injuries and her technique, deep tissue work and after care instructions made all the difference - the warm, inviting, clean treatment space doesn't hurt either! I've been seeing Marie for just over a year and she is a life saver! I started working from home because of COVID and developed hip and back pain as a result of the sitting constantly, bad posture etc. I saw a few therapists and physios before I came across Marie. She identified what was causing my pain and treated the source, not the symptoms, and provided me with helpful advice/stretches for prevention.
