I first started attending the clinic in September, as a result of an injury I received while working. Ultimately the problem will be resolved by surgery in May. However the clinic and its personnel were instrumental in relieving the pain and discomfort I was in. Additionally they really helped to increase the range of motion in my arm. I was worked on by Gadda and "G". Both very expert and knowledgeable people when it comes to assessing and rehabilitating an injury. These folks are my go to people when Im injured or need treatment.

My husband started at PhysioCare after a major accident involving a dislocated knee, as well as multiple torn ligaments, and nerve damage. The entire staff have been helpful and friendly since day one; but what stands out most to us was how quickly PhysioCare booked my husband in immediately after the accident to prep for his surgery, and to this day continue to go above and beyond to ensure he heals properly for a healthy future. In specific, Ganesh and Sayeed have made for a comfortable environment and provided my husband with impeccable care - from laser therapy and ultrasound to extensive hot/cold therapy. I am very happy, fully satisfied last year When I had my back problem. I was not able to bend and even unable to walk and sit on the chair so my family physician referred me to Physiocare. It was my first time to go to this clinic but my wife and my daughter went there when they had car accident in 2018. After after 6 sessions done by a Physio therapist named Saeed and four sessions with Ganesh I am fully recovered and capable to do everything as I used to be. Now I have my shoulder problem. MRI showed tendon broken and tears issues. Six seasons has been done .with therapist named SINDU. She is really a great young lady. She is fully qualified, trained and professional . She is well behaved, mannered, hard worker and sympathetic with empathy. She knows what to with what issues. This means all staff of Physio Care at Kandllewood Plaza has all staff very qualified, trained and professional. In my opinion this place is an asset for our Whitby Community. I feel lucky when I come here for treatment. Now my shoulder is improved lot and stills Sindhi is working satisfactory on it . Further I strongly recommend this place for all type of physio therapy. Ghada is the best. I had a torn ligament in my knee and tried another local physiotherapist over a year ago. They were incompetent so I gave up. I was referred to Ghada who set about methodically working on my knee over eight sessions. She employed a wide variety of techniques including shock wave, laser, graston technique, stretching, resistance exercises and more. If I didn't like a particular method, it was dropped with no questions. At all times Ghada was cautious not to do more damage and protect the injury. After a year of pain, my knee is repaired and I have the tools and exercises to keep it that way. The staff are knowledgeable, highly organized, friendly, make you coffee, and always have a biscuit out. I highly recommend this physiotherapy clinic if you are in the Whitby/Oshawa region.

Pros: 1) They're in such a hidden corner in the plaza but have like 50 signs making it impossible to miss the place. 2) They're following Covid 19 protocols to the tee. 3) They have all the tools needed for physiotherapists. 4) The wait wasn't long for my appointment. Was in on time and out on time. 5) Ganesh is just fantastic at his job. You enter there after the first visit and come out with more pain due to his manual therapies and that's how you know it's working! Cons: 1) Lots of papers to read and sign on first visit. It took all of a 15 minutes but it would be nice to have an option to fill them online or print and sign at home and bring them in to speed up the first appointment.

My friend told me about physio care, since on year they treated her from severe planter fasciastis that caused a lot of pain in her feet. From the first session I realized how this clinic might be the best physiotherapy clinic I have visited ever.A full assessment, clear treatment plan and explanations for all the modalities they use.The physiotherapist spends with me at least on hour every time very professional, knowledgeable and kind to a degree you feel it's your home.They used with me Shockwave therapy, Gaston technique, laser therapy. The approach by the staff was very good they were professional in approach and in few sessions he recovered. The physiotherapist is great , knowledgeable and super nice . I have had a lower back injury for more than half my life and have been living my life around its existence basically. This means I would try not to get involved in activities that would aggravate it and even limit the kind of work, movements and workout I can do. Early this month something I did unbeknown to me caused my back to flare up to a point like never before. I was unable to do the basic things without holding on to any and everything or seeking assistance from others. I could not stand up without grimacing in pain. I could not walk, turn my body or just basically move. After seeing my family doctor who prescribed a muscle relaxer medication and a referral to see a physiotherapist, I did an internet search and came across PhysioCare and was able to make an appointment to see Ghada. I have to admit I was very skeptical at first because this was my first time doing physio but after my second session with Ghada I began to experience some instant relief. I decided after the first visit that I will no longer be taking the medications and to my amazement the pain was at a minimal. When the pain first began it started in my center lower back and then I started to have a more intense pain on my lower right side that went all the way down my thigh which was at times unbearable. After my second session I indicated to Ghada that I am no longer feeling that massive pain on my lower right side and I am only feeling the one in my center lower back but the intensity is minimal. She patiently explained to me that it’s what she expected and showed me a medical book that clearly described (images) what I was experiencing. This renewed my confidence that she is the right person for me and I was in good hands. By my next session I was completely pain free. I was given the assignment to do some basic stretching exercises daily which I continue to do. Ghada showed patience, kindness and understanding throughout my experience with her. She and her assistant made me feel extremely comfortable at all times. The facility appeared to be well equipped, clean and designed appropriately. Amazing work done. I was in this clinic and I received treatment for my Piriformis Syndrome for a couple of sessions. The PT I was dealing with was very knowledgeable and professional. After 4 visits, my pain is totally gone. I was dealing with this pain for the last 2 years. About the clinic itself, I really like the staff. I had some issues with my payments and insurance company. Dr. Gamal, the owner who I think is a physician himself was very helpful and nice to resolve the issue. I definitely recommend them for other patients.

My experience with this clinic was great. My son had an injury to his knee and we took him to Physiocare. They were extremely friendly and helpful. The physiotherapist, Ghada Shendy, is excellent, very knowledgeable and professional. She did a thorough examination and then explained the diagnosis and treatment plan clearly. I have been a patient for almost a year.A few months ago my chronic back issue became worse. I suffered from lumbar herniatiob to 3 discs, trochanter bursitis, severe bilateral pirformis syndrome.i was unable to work,sit and perform many of my activities of daily living. I underwent extensive therapy at physiocare. ..ranging from accupucture, osteopathy, chiro, massage and physiotherapy. I have been so pleased with the results ....after only 2mths of treatment i am now back to work pain free. Having all the specialties under one roof made it easy for me to recieve treatment and also they are able to coordinate my treatment plan together. The approach is "hands on".Everytime i recieved treatment i felt improvement. The atmosphere is so welcoming ..you feel like you are part of the family .starting from the receptionist to the therapists. All the therapists are extremely knowledgeable. I attended physio care a couple of weeks ago during the holiday rush. I was having lots of pain and I called and Gamal did his best to fit me in immediately. Ganesh did a thorough assessment and provided me with simple stretches/exercises to do throughout the week. My pain lessened significantly within the next couple of days. The staff at this clinic do an amazing job to work with your schedule and to make sure you can be seen as soon as possible. They truly care about their clients and want to see them improve. I am very pleased with the service I receive from Physio Care Physiotherapy. I was in a motor vehicle accident and make good use of the services provided. I currently use the chiropractor, physiotherapy, and massage services. I am also pleased with the way that this establishment adheres to the COVID-19 protocols. The make sure patients are safe by limiting capacity to two clients at a time inside the facility and by taking every person's temperature as they walk in the door. After looking for years for a good physiotherapist, I was lucky to come across Ghada's profile and PhysioCare Whitby through an Internet search. I was willing to try anything, was to the point hardly trying to keep myself sane because of a sciatica pain I have been fighting for about 2 months, especially mornings. I have been suffering for years of back pains and have seen around 20 physiotherapists over the past 4 years. Over the past 2 months I got again a back pain that evolved badly to the point that I was terrified going to bed in the night thinking about the next morning pain I'd go through (during the day my pain was getting a bit better). I took lots of pills and no relief. I had lots of poor sleep nights because of pain. I was seeing 2 physiotherapists in the same time lately, chiropractor/acupuncture. They brought me relief only for few hours. Next morning the nightmare would start again to the point that I could not go to work days in row. After seeing Ghada first time my pain started to get better. She took lots of time and patience to assess me and found the real reason and proper exercise/treatment. Now I am after 3 sessions (and 1 week) since I saw Ghada for the first time and I am much better. For the last couple of days almost no pain in the morning(no pain in lower leg - before I had lots of pain all over my lower leg and foot). My sleep improved a lot as well. Sitting was a nightmare, same driving. Now I can drive 1.5 hrs and have minimal pain. Ghada also reminded me importance of keeping the right posture, including while sleeping. I can sleep through the whole night and next morning feel little to no pain. I totally trust her and her knowledge/professionals. I wanted to let everyone know about my great experience here. I came in having an issue with pain in my left forearm, and a slight tear in my left elbow. It hurt to the point that I couldn't lift my son who was only 60lbs. 2 years ago, I was diagnosed with Scleroderma, a rare autoimmune and connective tissue disease. The disease came on hard and fast, even the specialist I was seeing was shocked at how rapidly it progressed. Scleroderma means "thick hard skin". It is an overproduction of collagen. Collagen is an essential part of the tissues that connect our skin to our bones, tendons and cartilage to bones. But too much collagen is a very, very bad thing. A specialist recommended I seek physiotherapy to try to stimulate the skin. PhysioCare was the 4th place I called, and the first one that had even heard of the disease. Gamal told me that though they had no patients with Scleroderma, they would try to help me if I was willing to try as well. I was, and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Scleroderma affects each person with the disease differently. For me, it is mostly skin and joints, with the worst areas being my hands and arms. When I first went to see Ghada at PhysioCare, my hands were very swollen and I was barely able to bend or straighten my fingers, and the skin on my left wrist was so tight and hard that I couldn't move it up or down, or rotate it at all. The skin in my lower and upper arms were also thick and hard. My left elbow was constantly bent and the pain was constant and at times excruciating. My right hand and arms were marginally better. I've been seeing Ghada for 2 years now and she has really improved my physical (and emotional) state. There is currently no known cure for SD, but thanks to PhysioCare, I have had much improvement in my strength, energy and range of motion. The care and attention I get from Ghada and her team is second to none. They are truly special people. I am eternally grateful to Ghada and the rest of the warm and friendly staff at PhysioCare. G. Physiocare is by far the best physiotherapy clinic in Durham region. The therapists there are very nice ,professional and knowledgeable. They fixed my knee pain within few sessions with both manual work and shockwave therapy . Ghada is a great physiotherapist , Roxy is a magic massage therapist and Amanda is a wonderful chiropractic. I highly recommend physiocare for any body needs treatment for musculoskeletal problems !

I went to Physiocare after a motor vehicle accident in 2014. They worked with my insurance company to make the whole process a breeze. I had to do physiotherapy and massage therapy and I saw a chiropractor a few times as well. They were so good - I recovered so quickly thanks to them. Physio Care Physiotherapy assisted me the first time with a Hip injury and then the second time with a strained wrist. In both cases they explained the injury very well and described the method of treatment. Recovery was quick and the treatment was awesome. First weekend of August I sufferred from an extreme lower back blow out that severely strained multiple ligaments in my hip, down my IT band to my knee, calf & ankle on my left side which caused a severe pelvic tilt. My legs were uneven & my left hip was completely raised causing a limp & looked like I had severe scoliosis. I was barely able to walk, I couldn't bend, sit, stand or lay comfortably or without pain. I was in a hyper state of spasm after spasm with each pivot, movement or shift I tried to make. I was taking pain killers every 3-4hrs to cope with the pain. Having been 5 months post-partum I can honestly say this pain was worse than child labor. At this point, I could barely hold myself up let alone my baby which was the initial reason for my injury sadly.. constantly bending & lifting my baby in & out the crib, awkwardly breastfeeding, sitting for long periods of time with him. Also, previously having a lower back injury in the past added to the possibility of getting reinjured again. The chiropractor I began my treatment with ended up going on leave for a surgery 3 weeks in to treatment so I was forced to find another chiropractor. A friend suggested seeing an osteopath as she was helped greatly by one for her back issues. My husband came across physiocare prior & suggested I try them out. I called & they got me in with Dr.Gamal their osteopath a few days after. Having to change clinics was the biggest blessing in disguise as the approach Dr.Gamal set me up for was more thought out & focused on fixing the issue from the root problem instead of only where the pain was coming from. Dr.Gamal has an extensive background & knowledge of the human body. He was able to pinpoint exactly where my injury was without an xray as I am breastfeeding & the radiation could be harmful to my baby. Dr.Gamal & his whole team has impeccable bedside manner & genuinely care about my well being. He made himself available to me at anytime & called me personally to follow up after treatments to see how I was doing. After making the correction to my hip Dr.Gamal worked with the chiropractor Jessica who is an absolute angel & amazing at what she does, not to mention super easy to talk to. I really feel they listen to you & your body, they never went further than I was able to manage, communication is always great. Jessica also practices acupuncture which helped tremendously with pain management within the first month & half of recieving treatment I was able to go from taking pain killers every 3-4hrs to every 8hrs & now 2 months later I only take it when needed which maybe 2-3x in a week at most but on most days I can go without. I also was seeing Ryan & Jennelle the massage therapists who are great! They really listened & helped my body relax enough to get out of the hyper spasm stage in the beginning. I am now seeing Genesh for physiotherapy & he has been amazing. He has an extensive knowledge of the body as well & is very knowledgeable in many different techniques. He too called me the next day to follow up. He listens well & communicates great to get to the bottom of things. I feel as my recovery is entering the next phase with his treatment. I can rest easy knowing I am in good hands & on the road to recovery. The light at the end of the tunnel is nearing & it wouldn't be possible without Dr.Gamal & his team of practitioners who put my health first. My family & I couldn't be more grateful. Thank you to everyone including Dana who always ensured my schedule was set ahead of time & for Dr.Gamal & Jessica for adjusting their schedule to see me when I really needed them. You guys have litterally restored my body & have given me hope that I will be able to return to normal life again with my baby & husband. I would recommend anyone & everyone to physiocare. It will be the best move you can make for your health & well-being believe me they changed the trajectory of my life! God bless you all!

Physio Care physiotherapy means family, care, love, professional, medical treatment and really get to the problem and much more. My family has been going there for years now. My husband have knees problems and will not risk going anywhere else. He speaks highly about the staff especially Ghada. Samantha, the person you see first as you entered have such an amazing welcoming smile and voice. Gamal, well this individual is all about people's care first and have a very calming voice and always happy. It's a very clean environment with amazing updated machines and technology. For myself, I hurt my shoulder very badly at work In August of 2017, I was told by one of my co-worker to go to another physiotherapy clinic I went there for awhile and was told by my doctor I have to have surgery. The pain was unbearable I couldn't even put my top on without crying. Well at that time I returned "home"back to physio Care it was one of the best thing I had ever done. My I am proud to say no more tears, and I can lift my arm which I taught I could never do again. As of today I still go for treatments etc. When I speak to Ghada with any problems I assure you I always come out with peace of mind, oh and no surgery for me so far. Thank God we still have amazing people that truly cares for you as a person. Gamal will work with you no matter what the problem is. My experience at Physiocare has been amazing. From day one I felt as if the whole team truly cared about my well being. Ghada is a wonderful, caring physiotherapist and has been dedicated to helping me through my recovery post-accident. She makes me feel comfortable with every treatment and is always willing to listen when I need to talk. My massage therapist, Jenelle, is incredible. Her treatments always make me feel better than when I came in and she really adds a personal touch. It's as if she knows exactly what I need every time I'm in there. She is also very knowledgeable about the various muscles and tendons and how to relieve tension and pain. After a bad experience at a different clinic with my previous chiropractor, I was hesitant to ever go to another one. Dr. Amanda really changed my opinion. In my first visit she spent more time with me than my previous chiropractor had in 6 months worth of visits! She explains everything and really listens to all your concerns. Her various treatments have been really helpful in managing my pain. The Physiocare team really feels like family. I would recommend them to anyone!!

I can't say enough about the amazing experience I had at this clinic! After suffering with debilitating plantar fasciitis for about 6 months (and spending $600 on custom orthodics with no relief) I was ready to cut my foot off. I was recommended to try shockwave therapy by someone who had their plantar fasciitis treated (and healed) by it. I was very skeptic, but at the point where I was willing to try anything. I was pleasantly surprised by how thorough my initial assessment was. We ended up doing shockwave on my foot during that appointment, and I immediately noticed a difference in my pain levels. I continued shockwave therapy for another few sessions, and I'm thrilled to say that I'm a new man! No more pain at all!!! Everyone at this clinic is super friendly, and they really go the extra mile to make sure that everything is done right.
