I’m a student, 17 years old in grade 12. For a long time my back would bother me. Feelings of uncomfort in long periods of sitting, neck pain, trouble sleeping, etc. I’ve been going to infinite for about a month now and I’m already seeing huge benefits. I have more energy in the mornings, am more focused in class, and overall am just feeling much better. I’m playing instruments again, working out more, trying out for the basketball team, all good things. 11/10 I would recommend infinite. Plus, Dr. Shariff is a pretty dope guy.

I'm sure everybody's heard the saying "you're only as old as you feel "well when you feel much older than what you are that's never a good sign. I went to my family doctor, Hospital on a couple occasions looking for answers for nerve pain I had even went to the dentist because I was experiencing nerve pain in my neck and my teeth and jaw. So let me tell you how it all begin 2 years ago I went on vacation with my girlfriends and we went for a walk on the beach and that's when it took a turn for the worst my leg went down a sinkhole in the sand and my ankle broke in three spots, needless to say that was the end of my vacation. I decided to fly back home to have the surgery as being in a different country and the language barrier I just wanted to be home. The next few months were a blur as I was heavily medicated and was on the road to recovery. That's when the rest of my body started falling apart with nerve pain issues because my body was now out of alignment. 2 years I was miserable I was constantly in pain and discomfort it was affecting every aspect of my life. My husband and I went to the home show here in oshawa back in March of this year and that's where I met dr. Shareef, I explained my pass injury and what I've been enduring since that time and he actually understood what I was saying and for the first time I didn't feel like I was hallucinating my issues he took the time to listen and explain why I was having these issues. He had a promotion so I thought I'd take the chance for the small fee it would at least give me actual data to go by to make a change in my health. I've been now seeing dr. Shariff for less than 2 months and my quality of life has changed dramatically I'm not a hundred percent but I have more energy and I'm able to focus and do things I haven't been able to do for the past two years because of being in pain. I just like to say thank you dr. Shariff you're making a difference not only in my life but everybody around me, thank you for being you.

Not the right style of care for everyone. Pushy sales tactics, trying to get us to commit to a year of payments upfront with expectations that even at the maintenance level of chiropractic people should be expected to go bi-weekly. No regard for customers level of finances and coverage, expecting that $3000+ a year is reasonable. Even in serious pain my husband had to attend 3 separate appointments without getting any adjustments to try and plug this healing lifestyle instead of just addressing the problem. We went elsewhere and found care much more suited to our needs, funds and expectations.

I randomly walked into Dr Shariff festival booth one day while I was hoping someone in the world could help me so solve my feet pain that has been going on for a long time. I have been even seeing other doctor or using different method to try getting better. He helped me to identify that as fasciitis right away and helped me to get better really fast. I continue my treatment after my feet got better and after 8 months, I was pregnant with my second child. Dr Shariff custom made a very comfortable cushion for pregnant women to be adjusted comfortably and gently. When I have first child, I was having morning sickness for 7 months. With this pregnancy after treatment, I didn't have much of a morning sickness. Even I feel, after adjustment I feel better and even back pain was better. Dr Shariff said I would be a quicker child birth which it did. Half quicker! He also said I would heal faster which I also did. I did not have the back pain I had after child birth as the first one. The first one it took me over three months for it ease a little. He is adjusting both my four years old and new born. I older would ask for going to dr and be adjusted when he feel off and my younger one sleep pretty good at night as I believe adjustment really help the child in general health development. I am 2cm taller after the childbirth and adjustment for a year and my neck and back is straighter. Thank you Dr Shariff for the care of me and my family. He is super friendly and always ask how the patient is doing and talk to them even in such a short time of appointment. He would find out ways to help us on other health issues, and concerns of life. He always try to make things easier for us who have family so that we can be able get to the appointment. Thanks Dr Shariff our Chiropractic doctor for you professional knowledgeable warm care and the joyful staffs to make life happier every time you go.

Well I found the clinic by using these reviews, so it's time I did one myself. I've been having lower back issues and problems with my knees over the years which were getting to the point of questioning if I would be able to continue working in the trades. Here's what you get: A thorough exam/x-ray/scan/testing. A detailed discussion on the findings and a clear path forward. Honesty and compassion regarding your situation. A multi service office, having chiropractic care, massage, and acupuncture that is clean and modern. Great people. What you don't get is the cattle hearding mentality you often see if you try regular physio (my experiences). You don't get a bunch of "over your head" medical talk that leaves you uneasy and unknowing. And you don't have to wait a lifetime to start your journey to changing your life for the better. I experienced almost immediate improvement, with less pain and increased mobility. Once I included acupuncture on my knees I could actually work without pain, having only to strengthen. My journey is not complete and I may not eliminate all my issues, but with the help of this crew, I stand the best chance I have. I love these people. They've probably saved my working career and maybe my life as well. Thanks to discussions with the group, I eat better and exercise more. So the Google reviews that brought me were not false and neither is mine. Try them out - I don't think you can go wrong.

I go to Infinite Healing for chiropractic care with Dr. Shariff, and acupuncture with his wife Maureen as well. *Aug. 2018 - I'm editing my older review because they asked me to write it so I felt pressured to write a great one. I don't go there any more because in short, I wasn't feeling improvements any more and I feel they are more interested in my money than my well being. No matter what your problem, they preach that you must go regularly for life, that your spine will get subluxations if you dont'. He said I needed orthodics for life, new pair every few months. Tried to sell me expensive (but not very good) vit. pills and get me buying them regularly too. The appointments are $30 or $35 for less than 5 min. Where I go now I get 30-45 min. for $40 and a lot better results because my new chiro. is a kinesiologist as well and can tell just by touching me where I hurt, and he fixes it. New chiro. hasn't done an adjustment yet, after almost 2 months. Just muscle work, and says I don't need orthodics, he's got both my legs the same length almost now and knows that I can strengthen the intrinsic muscles of my feet and make them better, without orthodics , which would only weaken my feet and make them more dependant on orthodics. I study Natural Health continuously. I take control of my own health so I don't have to trust someone else to do it for me, because just like in the medical system, they WILL take advantage of you. It was quite obvious who they were looking after when it came to little "gifts" at Christmas time etc., - I got a coupon for a "friend" - how does that benefit me? Why does my friend get the break, she's not the one who has spent thousands of dollars there. So I'm happy now, if you want to be happy find someone who does kinesiology and lets YOU decide if you're feeling better and need to keep going ever week or not!

For those that think chiropractors are a waste of time I will tell you a short story. I have be going to Dr.Shariff for about 4 years. I started there with pain in my back that made me think of saying goodbye cruel word. I was tacking 10 pain pills a day for about 10 years. After a few visits the medication started to reduce. As of to-day I take none. I have been pill free for about 1 year. I also go to acupuncture which is helping with a pinched nerve (sciatic) Fore pain or just to stay healthy try him or her.

I started going this chiropractic and wellness centre roughly a month ago, and I'm very glad that I did. I injured my back at work and after a month or so of it getting worse and no progress being made on my own; I sought out help. After only a few adjustments I not only noticed less pain, but I had more mobility, less aches and got some flexibility back. I am now a month in and have virtually no pain, but I also noticed my sleep is better, my posture is improved, and less headaches. Dr. Shariff is phenomenal as well as his staff. He explains everything thoroughly, and makes sure you understand what he is saying. He is very patient, kind and understanding. It always amazes me that he knows every patients names and even little details, and he takes the time to chat and check in on how you are doing both as a patient and as a person. Very personable and understanding, and he doesn't make you feel like just another number/file. Honestly I was scared/ embarrassed to go to a chiropractor at first but with the progress that i've made and his explanations, metaphors and patience... I would recommend this business every single time!

I first found this team in 2013. I was raised to be skeptical of chiropractic, acupuncture and the like, but gave it a chance, as I was in very rough shape. I was in constant pain from an old back injury that only got worse as years went by. I would take pain meds every day, strong meds that only dulled my pain. I hurt all over. Starting with chiro, I came in nervous and unsure, but I was welcomed. The support staff, and Dr. Shariff made me feel comfortable about seeking this treatment. It was obvious from the start, they all wanted me to feel better. I wasn't just treated, I was listened to, and I was taught, given knowledge so I could express myself and actively seek relief and wellness. Adding in massage therapy and acupuncture, I have seen my overall health improve, and I feel more balanced. I have more energy generally, and can deal with life's stresses much better. The best bonus is not having to rely on pain relief meds as I used to. I barely take any at all now. :) Having moved to their current location a while ago, Infinite Healing has several avenues of care and wellness: chiropractic, massage therapy, acupuncture, orthotics assessments, and even a nutritional advice. It all works together. Learning how chiro and acupuncture etc. works to help the body, it really does make sense, and they all readily and gladly share their knowledge. I began attending this clinic about a month ago after receiving an opportunity for an initial scan assessment for free from a friend who’s already been going there. It has been more than 20 years since I last had chiropractic care and I was pleasantly surprised to learn from Dr. Shariff and his team about how chiropractic helps so much more in the body than just aches and pains and headaches. I have severe IBS and have struggled to manage pain from it with diet alone but I am finding the schedule of adjustments helpful to my body maintenance. My sleep patterns have also improved. When you agree to see the infinite team for care, you’re making a wellness commitment and that includes not only attending based on an individual program plan designed to meet your needs but also regular scans to determine progress. I was pleasantly surprised to see how much improved my scan after one month looked versus the initial. Additionally, clients get regular appointment reminders to email, links to informational videos from Dr. Shariff and the staff/customer service experience is fantastic. Highly recommended if you are interested in making a commitment to including chiropractic as a means to improve your overall wellness.

He wants to help you by not only treating you, but EDUCATING you. The customer service is top notch! Office staff are always courteous, friendly and helpful. Doctor sheriff is always positive and happy. He seems to know all of his patients and always has time to chat. I was definitely standing skewed to one side. My posture has improved, my reaction time has improved in sports and my posture has improved. I'm definitely here for the long haul. I was having trouble with my lower jaw dislocating in a minor manner so that I was felt clicks when I opened my mouth. This problem has almost completely disappeared.

Originally I came to him in rough shape after an old arm and neck injury that hadn't healed properly exploded in pain one day after picking up a tea kettle. For over 3+ years I've been to multiple chiropractors and physiotherapists for my shoulder and knee pain. No matter how often I went to get treated, my problems would never go away. I came across infinite healing in January and noticed Dr. Shariff approaches his practice very differently. The biggest thing that stood out to me was the X-Rays. I’ve been coming here for 4.5 months for adjustments. Started at 3 times a week then down to 2 times. I suffer from severe disc degenerative disease as well as arthritis from having chemo in 2015. I never post on anything for the most part but for how my treatments have improved my life at Infinite Healing I felt I must share. I have suffered with a bad shoulder for about 5 years now to the point it was seizing up and unusable. I was starting to just accept that this was my new life, on top of that my lower left back started acting up and was on the same path as my shoulder! After experiencing several scary episodes of atrial fibrillation or A-fib (heart beating uncontrollably, often when at rest). I went to the doctor and sure enough it was confirmed, and I got booked to see a cardiologist. They are great at dealing with symptoms, but not so much at pointing out the root causes. I needed to know what caused this, so I googled 'causes of a-fib' and a 1 hr. youtube video of Dr. John Bergman of California came up. As he explained, the misfiring nerves in the heart get their signals from the brain, which of course go through the spine. D'uh!! Seems so obvious after he explains it, but I don't think a cardiologist has (or will) ever sent an a-fib patient to a chiropractor! Bergman had success in treating Afib using a wellness approach- using scans and x-rays for diagnosis, and spinal adjustments along with dietary changes, vitamin and mineral supplements, stress reduction and so on. This was the best information I could find on treating this condition without strong meds or surgical procedures, but California is a long commute, not to mention a touch expensive. So the search was on for a wellness practitioner in Durham region with the same wellness philosophy as Dr. Bergman. Infinite Healing ticked all the boxes from Bergman's checklist of things you need in a wellness clinic. After an assessment by Dr. Shariff and beginning a treatment program about 5 weeks ago, my a-fib episodes are now very rare, and I am cleared to resume full physical activities. This is better than I could ever have hoped for!! As Dr. Aly says, we don't treat symptoms, but aim to restore the body to a condition where it can heal itself. It is a long term journey, and it's exciting to feel progress so soon. Especially when I never would have expected a serious heart condition to be treated by a chiropractor! Thanks Dr. Aly!

While I was able to seek relief from treatment I do not like the business tactics Dr. Shariff uses. If you do not follow his plan of treatment (ex. 2 appointments every week) he will not treat you. If you try to change the frequency of your appointments he will give you a hard time and you will need to have a "scan" done before he approves a frequency change. These "scans" are done roughly every 6 months and are an unnecessary scam as it doesn't change where he focuses the adjustments. It became apparent very quickly that his main focus is on gaining more clients and rushing them in and out of their appointments as quickly as possible. I would not recommend this centre.

I have been coming here once a month for massage therapy for a few years. As an active drummer and runner, it’s good to have a regular treatment, and Maybelle is great at listening to my issues and directing her treatment there (and giving me follow up exercises). And more recently I have also started acupuncture. Maureen is very helpful with discussing the process and what you can get out of it. Each week she checks in on your health levels, taking a whole body and lifestyle approach to treatment. I always come out feeling more relaxed, and ready to take on the week. Both massage and acupuncture are great to do in tandem, and they are currently helping me through chronic sinus pain, and a recent bout of elbow tendinitis. Now I rave to anyone about the benefits of chiropractic care (He’s not paying me to say this….I’m paying him :p) My job as a city worker/operator/women of all trades for close to 15 years has me in physically demanding roles and ones which involve repetitive motions, twisting, lifting and all of that. I had felt like it really took a toll on my body when I would wake up with excruciating pain in my lower hip every day. It was to the point where I had to wake up or sleeping further was not an option. I also had swelling in my face in the morning and arms. Sure- I functioned, but with Shariff’s help I realized that adjustments minimize the swelling and pain, while also delivering other unexpected positive benefits. I also carried tension in my neck and shoulders for years and would have at least 5 headaches a week thinking “this is normal”. It turns out that Dr. Shariff could help me with that. Now I find myself with a fuller bottle of ibuprofen, while actually REMEMBERING when I took one last, as I used to take them often enough to forget when I took one (on a daily basis). Another thing he helped with was anxiety and stress-I didn’t believe it would help my mental state as much as it did, but Dr. Shariff was able to get my brain thinking clearly and not stress over the small stuff as much. I would never believe it could have helped with this before, but it really did. I mentally and physically “breathed easier” after my first few treatments. I used to breathe and would feel a strain in my mid back. I was skeptical buying into the treatment plan-as I have some medical coverage but not all of it would cover the costs. But to anyone dabbling with the “hmmm, should I go?”, “Is it worth it?” mentality- GO. Just try it. I promise Dr. Shariff is very welcoming, knowledgeable, and I do believe he cares about his industry and patients. Also, Steph at the desk is always very friendly and quick to help. I went for several acupuncture appointments, which I enjoyed in the beginning but then found it hard to relax and enjoy as I could hear chiropractic adjustments being done nextdoor, and people talking in the hallway, as there is an area for people to wait. I don't agree with this especially when getting accpuncture treatments done. I wanted to have a peaceful and relaxing experience without being easily distracted by what was going on behind the door. I found that it affected my sessions, as I wasn't able to relax and be intune with my body and the spa type music playing in the background, which defeated the purpose. At times, I would hear children being restless, as they waited for their parents, which I understand but this didn't help my treatment. I prefer a calm, quiet and relaxing acupuncture session, as this is helps one relax especially when dealing with so much pain. Hopefully, the staff will take my suggestions into consideration, and look into creating a more quiet and therapeutic experience for the patient undergoing treatment. Until then, I will be looking elsewhere.

I was dealing with a sore R. shoulder that I thought was muscle growth/pain. I started to worry when my index and middle finger went numb and all I’d feel were pins and needles, just in the two fingers day in and out. I tried to ignore/deal with the pain. After Suffering many sleepless nights I decided to do something about my pain. My gf found Infinite Healing through google with their great reviews, so I gave them a try. Best decision ever. Within a week I was scheduled in for my first consult. Ex rays and scans were taken to find the troubled areas I’m suffering from. Dr. Shariff drew up a plan of action of better healing. He walked me through everything so I have a good understanding of treatments to come. I felt great comfort in the exrays and scans, where he’s not just cracking your body back in shape. But targeting the areas that need it, so recovery after each adjustment is not overwhelming, but very comforting. I’ve been getting adjusted for the past month with great comfort in both arms. I overworked my left shoulder compensating for my sore right shoulder. I mentioned it to dr Shariff and within a couple adjustments the left shoulder went pain free. I’m extremely happy to report that both shoulders have been at 90% all within the first month of treatment. My MIL suffered from severe lower back pain and muscle spams in her neck muscles which made her faint and caused so much stress. Slowly, but surely, with consistent appointments, the lower back pain has improved tremendously to the point that my MIL can now walk whereas she couldn't before. She would have shooting pains in her lower back if she walked more than 5 minutes, and now that pain has disappeared and she can walk without feeling pain for more than 20 minutes which is a blessing for her! He has also given her daily stretching exercises to do so which will help her posture. About 2 years ago, I was referred to Infinite Healing Chiropractic by a co-worker of mine, who was blown away by her results. The total cost of care for the year steered me away, as I felt I couldn't financially commit. With no relief or sign of progression from years of treatment at my last Chiropractor, I decided it was time to put my health first, do whatever it takes, and seek our Dr. Shariff. My most problematic area is the left side of my neck/shoulder, with recurrent pinched nerves and migraine headaches. I also have moderate degeneration in my left hip and knee. To say I was blown away by the accuracy, care, education, and detailed analysis, just from the first visit, is an understatement. For the first time in a long time, I did not just feel like a "number". Dr. Shariff and his team treated me and continue to treat me as a whole being, and not just my symptoms. They are attentive- speaking to me honestly and directly, looking me in the eye, asking for suggestions/feedback every week and how I'm benefiting (or not) from their care. On the initial visit, Dr. Shariff read through and discussed my complete health/family history, did a spinal scan to determine the stress on my nerves, and conducted x-rays. On the second visit, the final part of the initial assessment, Dr. Shariff put on a presentation for a small group of us, educating us on the functions of the spine and how all our body systems are connected. He explained in a way that a child could comprehend, which was refreshing! Individually he took us in for a brief meeting, thoroughly discussed his findings from the previous scans, presented his plan of care for the year, and at that point discussed finances and asked if I wanted him to be my Chiropractic doctor (as opposed to him interviewing me to decide if he will take me on as a patient) All of this was conducted and agreed upon before he ever put a hand on me. After spending a total of 3 hours with Dr. Shariff, over 2 separate days, we were all encouraged to make an informed decision. Up until that point, there are no commitments- you can choose to start care, or you can refuse and leave without hassle. I was honestly mind-blown that what he was able to find in a mere couple of hours, no other Chiropractic doctor has known or has been able to tell me in all my 26 years of life. Though I don't make a lot of money, it was through honest reviews, my gut feeling about Dr. Shariff and his practice, and a serious need to get relief and re-alignment, that I decided to start care. Dr. Shariff worked out a payment plan with me for both my Chiropractic visits and Orthotics so that I could comfortably afford care for the year. At first, it is a lot of information to take it, and is a relatively big commitment to make for yourself (currently 3 appointments a week), but so far, it has been more than worth it. I must say, I am also very impressed by the clinics flexibility with scheduling and re-scheduling appointments. I've had to re-schedule probably half of my appointments so far, and is never an issue, as long as it is at least 2 hours prior to the appointment. I am usually on the phone and have the appointment rescheduled within a minute or two- quick and easy! I am greeted by a smiling and energetic assistant, Sherri-Lynn every appointment, and Dr. Shariff is patient, understanding, and informative. I've learned so much about Chiropractic care, and about myself over the last 6 weeks. We are still working on my adjustments "holding", but I have felt more "centered" and a lot less tense than I have in a long time. I'm looking forward to complementing my Chiropractic services with massage and acupuncture soon, and encourage everyone out there who is on the fence about starting Chiropractic care with Dr. Shariff to JUST DO IT! I came to Infinite Healing almost 2 years ago and cannot believe I waited so long to feel so great. I had been living with back issues (specifically lower back) for years that I had become accustomed to and had no idea what I SHOULD feel like on a day to day basis. I was also very hesitant to go for chiropractic care because I didn't really understand how it worked. Dr. Shariff explained everything thoroughly and made sure I was completely comfortable before starting any treatments. The Health Talks that are available at the clinic are extremely informative and eye opening. I started out with adjustments 3 times a week as well as acupuncture once a week and it completely changed everything, especially how I felt during daily activities. I began to notice when something didn't feel right, and realized that I was in a constant state of pain for many years and was actually not in tune with my own body. Acupuncture has also been amazing and a great time to focus on relaxing in my busy schedule while I am getting my treatment. I love that at the beginning of the appointments Maureen goes through details of how you are feeling, what has happened since the last appointment etc. to really get an understanding of what needs focus for that treatment. I never feel like it is a cookie cutter appointment and always feel like I am getting the best treatment for what I need at that time and also as an overall ‘feel great’ tool. Maureen is so knowledgeable and I always feel comfortable with questions about treatment as well as lifestyle questions. Acupuncture has helped with everything from sleep to digestion to headaches. I am now happy to say I am on a maintenance schedule and am in for treatments to keep my body feeling great instead of getting me on track from where I was when I started. The only thing I can say that I miss from when I started treatments 2 years ago is being able to see the Infinite Healing staff so often! The staff is so friendly and feel like family. I have been dealing with osteoarthritis in my lumber spine (disc and spine disease, stenosis) for the last 15 years. It is mainly from playing contact sports throughout my life. I have seen two other chiropractors during this time with minimal success. I have been getting treatment from Dr Shariff for a month now, and I am impressed. I have always stretched and strengthened my body and lower back to help mitigate the pain and lack of mobility in my back. It has helped somewhat, but the stiffness and pain has never gone away. There have been stretches that I could not go deep into because of the stiffness, well that has dramatically improved for me since seeing Dr. Shariff. His adjustments have relieved me of the this stiffness. My back is liking what he is doing. Not only does he have magical hands but his level of care is second to none. I have a chronic back issue and have seen many chiropractors over the years. I have to say with little relief. I have only been a client of Dr. Shariff for a short time but I have found him to be the right fit to treat my issues. Unlike most of the other chiropractors I have seen he first takes x-rays as well as a spinal scan. Hard to believe that some chiropractors just start adjusting without really seeing the problem.
