Honestly wow, as a martial artist and someone who works out constantly, years of built up tension and stiffness has been definitely worked out like never before. One session and I’m sold, I tried massages in the pat but this was 1000 times better. Can’t even explain how excited I am to go back and do it again! Thank you guys!! Will be back for sure

Finally pain free! After 17 months of bi-weekly massages from different clinics with limited results, I tried Master Therapy in Newmarket. 4 massages and 1 suggested acupuncture and I am finally pain free! Did have to go back once after 5 weeks for another acupuncture session, but I am 9 weeks pain free from that time. Highly recommend!

I called today, Jan 24 to book and appointment at the Newmarket location and I cannot believe how extremely rude the receptionist was who on the phone. I called to inquire about a Massage with an RMT and after asking what time the therapist is available, the lady responded with " I already told you, GOODBYE!" and she literally hung up on me. I was in no way being rude. I just needed to know what time he was free to see what time would work best for me. HORRIBLE customer service. I will not book here ever again due to this. Shame on you for talking to and treating your customers that way.

Shamefully bad experience. Bought a Groupon 12 days ago. Called and made appointment and said I have a Groupon. Showed up for my much needed massage and was told they aren't taking Groupons anymore. I explained to him that nobody called me to cancel the appointment. I didn't appreciate my time being wasted. Also as a Merchant they have to honour the Groupons that are already sold even if they don't want to sell any more of them. He said I could pay for my massage and call Groupon to get a refund for the one I bought from them. I left! With my headache worse than when I arrived. Uggghhh

This place has a therapist who is absolutely amazing!! I could hardly walk when I went in there, my sciatica was really really acting up and I was so miserable. He worked on my Ba k non stop until he was able to completely remove the pain. I don't know how he did it but this gentleman is an absolute Master and I have and will continue to recommend him to anybody who I ever hear talking about body pain. He is TRULY THE MASSAGE MASTER!! STOP SUFFERING AND GO SEE HIM! NOW!!

Great quality that is so central to our community. Really glad that a quality location is now in Newmarket. My wife and I have been several times already and they have provided excellent service. They can even provide the extra documentation if you get any questions from the insurance company to make it easy to make your claim coverage. They have a nice variety of service too.

***** THEIR GROUPON for 1-hour MASSAGE IS A SCAM - WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!!! DO NOT PURCHASE A GROUPON FROM MASTER THERAPY NEWMARKET!!!!! I purchased their Groupon for a 1-hour massage (exp: FRIDAY MARCH 8TH 2019) and as I called to make an appointment for next week, the gentleman on the phone told me their offer no longer "existed" and that I was unable to use my Groupon. Although I tried explaining to him that this Groupon was purchased weeks ago and had yet expired, he urged me to get a refund for my Groupon online. He would not listen to a word I was saying and because I bought the Groupon over two weeks ago, I can no longer get a refund it.... Worst customer service!!!! Almost 2019 and MASTER THERAPY NEWMARKET and its employees do not know the first thing when it comes to respect. Do NOT recommend them. You can find great massages WITH PERSONABLE people elsewhere

Therapist Name: Jian Ping Ding Therapy Date: July 8, 2021 There is no email for me to contact management directly. My mom came to the clinic last week to get a massage as her current massage therapist was fully booked. She came out of the massage extremely sore. During the massage she also kept telling the massage therapist that it hurt too much and to stop (multiple times), and he kept saying "oh you will feel better later". The next day she went to see her physiotherapist, who was shocked and appalled by my moms conditions. The physiotherapist gave her acupuncture to relieve her pain and urged my mom to go see a doctor. I had to take my mom to emergency because of how much pain she was in. The emergency doctor took a look and said she had a reaction to the oil/lotion that was used. She was prescribed tylenol 3 because she could barely keep her shirt on. She was also prescribed 1 week off work (LOST WAGES) because of the burns on her skin. DO NOT GO HERE. I plan to file a formal complaint against the masseuse.

I was informed when I called that I could not be given a receipt and that they do not allow insurance. I am not sure what the insurance part means and I don’t care, but to offer a service and not give a receipt is highly illegal. The goings on in this place is highly suspect. Will not go here.

I was born with a disability and I’ve seen lots of doctors and specialists and been on lots of pills. I’ve tried massage and acupuncture in the past with varying results. While my condition has gotten worse with age, (spinal stenosis and cerebral palsy)I decided to try acupuncture again. Thank goodness I found Frank! I and family have noticed a major improvement in my pain and mobility. I limped into the clinic on my cane, in a lot of pain and 1 hour later I was walking straighter only using my cane for some balance and my pain level was almost non existent. I’ve been back for two more treatments and a massage and WOW! Thank you Frank If you are in pain or just want to spoil yourself visit Frank and his team! Prices are very reasonable and they can direct bills several insurance companies and others you must submit the bills. I will be returning and looking forward to even more improvement in the future.

I have been here a couple of times and have really enjoyed my massages with Frank. Don't judge a place by the sign, inside it is lovely, very clean and bright. Frank is extremely professional. He is knowledgeable about diet and overall body function. He even gave me a first time complimentary acupuncture treatment. I plan to keep going back and I recommend you try them too!

Thanks to Covid 19 I wasn’t able to get any treatments for 3 months I have severe spinal stenosis and I was born with CP. In the last 5 weeks I’ve had 5 treatments. Frank and his staff of specialists are absolutely amazing. I’m off the pills and feeling human again, I no longer rely on my walker and have started using my cane again. I’m sure Frank can tailor his treatments to whatever you need but for me he is very deep tissue and it WORKS!!! Give Massage Resorts a try you won’t be disappointed.

My boyfriend and I went here the other day and are in more pain than ever. Found this place on Groupon and when I called to see if they had an appt available, lady told me I could get same price as Groupon and that I did not need to go through Groupon, that I could just pay at store. So I gave benefit of the doubt. When we got there, they wanted us to pay before, which I never have. Normally you pay after (for the experience). As well as the lady at front didn't even tell us exactly what to do (like we know to trip down and get under comforters, but we weren't sure which ones, since there were so many and some places are particular) and so be it we got under the wrong ones, so they had to leave the room then come back again. Anyways throughout our massage we would mention to the therapists to go hard or softer when need be. But my boyfriend said his therapist pushed on his jaw/chin...and afterwards we were in more pain than to begin with. AND they wanted us to pay $90!! when the Groupon was only $40. I can understand after a deep tissue massage that you are to feel some stiffness and pain for a day or so but man this is excessive, and you are supposed to feel relaxed and quite frankly we feel total opposite. even through the experience. overall not a great experience. This place could have potential. Not satisfied-SHOULD HAVE SPECIFIED OR COMMUNICATED THIS ALL WHILE ON PHONE PRIOR OF WEEK TO BOOKING AND/OR WHEN WE CAME. while going back to discuss, still no resolved and would do nothing for me and now groupons are taken down. customer service not good. didn't even specify the massage and we did communicate throughout if the pressure was okay, even if pressure was hard and we mentioned it, didn't change. I've gotten it done before. this was not good. not helpful in the end still.

Worst customer service. Will not be back!!!! Bought a groupon as a gift to have it cancelled 3 days later. Then waited 2 days to talk to an owner/manager to see what options were available. Confirmed my appointment 3 times for a couples massage not through groupon. 10 minutes before the appointment on the day of my partners birthday had them call to say oh sorry we can only take 1 of you. I called the day before to confirm the time and couples appointment. Obviously my partner went for the massage I was left in the waiting room with the receptionists talking about me because I asked what could be done to make this experience in any way pleasant. They could do nothing .... apparently. I work in customer service I get when things go wrong but I left there feeling embarrassed and appalled!!! Not worth it

I have been coming to this location for a long time. I have seen almost all the massage therapists at this location. Frank has also done cupping and acupuncture treatments for me and my husband. They do not cheat on time. They make sure you get every minute for the 60 minute massage. Yes their massage is deep tissue mostly unless you ask for them to lighten up the pressure. I have done some deep breathing through it in the past and known how much I can push my body, it’s been worth it. Reading other reviews I feel like people need to know they can ask the therapist that they want lighter pressure. I am always last minute when trying to book a massage here however I do recommend for you to book ahead of time. Over time my mom and dad have also come here and everyone has had a great relaxing experience.
