Unforgettable experience at this day spa! I got a 60 min massage in the salt cave with Anthony and it was a style of massage I had never experienced before. He listened to my body and used these incredible release techniques! Jenna did my facial and it was so relaxing; my face was glowing after! The spa uses Skin Ceuticals which I am obsessed with. I was also able to use my WaySpa gift card and they provided an RMT receipt. Prices are on the higher end but it is to be expected based on the location and the level of the facility. Gorgeous establishment, clean, friendly staff & an adorable shop through out. Will definitely be back!

This is my go-to place for massage therapy. The staff are always professional and friendly and (when it is open/not during COVID) there is a great lounge area as you wait for your treatment. If you are going for a massage, I recommend Shannon - she listens to what you would like to focus on and is highly skilled. In terms of the Zenbar itself, they also have lots of cutesy/zen-y items for sale (candles, clothing, etc.)

I just had a 1hr massage with Wendy yesterday as an early bday gift to myself and it was amazing! She is a small lady with a lot of force which is PERFECT for me! She asked what kind of pressure I liked and made sure that when she started that I was comfortable .It is hard to find someone who can provide continuous pressure during a massage and she did not disappoint! The only slight complain I had was the room was a bit cold so her hands were cold but it was only the initial touch and then I was fine! I fell asleep HARD so I am not complaining! I will be back!

This was our first time at Zenbar and it definitely won’t be our last! I surprised my husband for his birthday with a massage in the salt cave and I received a pedicure. He absolutely loved it. Total relaxation. My pedicure was perfection. Olivia is amazing! She was friendly, polite and meticulous. Her foot massage was out of this world. Even while adhering to all covid health and safety policies, Zenbar still managed to make us feel relaxed and spoiled. Customer service at the front reception area was wonderful too. So polite and professional. We can’t wait to come back!

I've been to the Zenbar a few times in the last few years but I probably won't be going back there again. It's not that it's bad, it's just that it's "meh" all around. This is not a spa or anything close to it. Spas in Toronto will give you access to some basics such as robes, lockers, sauna, pool, basic refreshments (coffee/tea) etc. In the ZenBar, none of these things are available, or of they are they're dysfunctional and out of service. I went in for a massage for my birthday, the lady was nice enough and we talked a few minutes at the onset. The massage was good but everything before that and after was just nonexistent with virtually zero hospitality. I was also always put off by an establishment like this being in a strip plaza, always felt out of place as the interior looks like a real estate office converted to look relaxing. I also like to have an experience that's memorable rather than mediocre. I won't be going back.

Response- Hi, shocked how you didn’t find anyone by the name “Tanya”, I was literally there on October 20th for a 3pm appointment. Ask your staff how many times I reached out in the last 3 days asking them for a receipt. After I finished the massage, the receptionist said she would send it to my email in 5 minutes. I waited until next day and called in and they told me that since I booked through Groupon they cannot provide a RMT receipt which is understandable but they said they can still send me a receipt for the message. I called thrice and I still haven’t received it. While all the staff are respectable, this is not acceptable. Either say you cannot provide a receipt or just email as promised. It’s been 4 days now and I haven’t received it. Also, instead of being so defensive with reviews, maybe try putting the same effort into improving your service and training your staff better. Advertised as a luxury spa, not anywhere close to it. It’s a shame that there is no space in the room to leave your stuff in a “luxury” spa. Most of the equipment looked very old and rundown in general. Although this was the most expensive place I found on Groupon, I booked thinking the experience was going to be better than other places but I was completely wrong. Better to go with other places offering the same for a much better price. I booked a 60 min session plus scalp massage which they said was going to be an additional 10min. They finished both the things in 50mins. So I basically paid more and received less than what I paid for. The massage therapists were really nice but the massage experience itself was very average. Overall, bad experience. Won’t return to this over priced place. Thanks Update October 25- Zenbar associate reached out to me and sent me a copy of the receipt. Thank you.

First time here today. We arrived 10 min late due to traffic.. we were expecting the message to be 50 min but they only did 40 min. Normally I wouldn't be so picky over 10 min but we spent quite a lot of money for this massage so it did pinch me a little. Massage was good, I told the messusse to put more effort in my back & shoulder blades but he focused more towards the entire body. That extra 10 min would have covered some extra areas in the back which were needed but oh well. I'm not 100% sure if I'll be coming again. Maybe if their prices were a little more reasonable then yes. Overall it was still a very nice experience ????

I recently tried ZenBar myself after buying gift certificates a couple of times for deserving others, but never having gone myself! I booked a 60 minute RMT with Ellis and he was very professional, friendly and delivered an incredible massage. I was a little unsure about going for a massage during COVID, but the front desk staff were well organized, the check in waiver was comprehensive, I felt safe in the lobby while waiting and the massage bed/room appeared cleanly and well kept. I’ll definitely be going back again soon! And it’s important to mention, the massages are fairly priced for the experience in return. ???? I will mention the only drawback is not being able to shower after, but I understand the difficulties and restrictions of operating such a business during COVID. I look forward to being able to use the facilities (shower / lounge) in the future!

Edit: I believe you are mistaken with regards to the service I received. My hot stone massage was performed by an RMT because I got an insurance receipt afterwards... this was also confirmed over the phone prior to booking the appointment. Have a great day. Spa was clean, and massage therapists were friendly. The quality of the massage wasn’t as expected, I asked my massage therapist to apply more pressure, and she didn’t. There was the consistent noise of the train in the salt cave, which took away from a relaxing experience. The price was too expensive for what you got.

Zenbar and their therapists were really good. Reception was polite. We had a 12:45pm appointment for a salt maasage in the cave for 2 people. The therapists finished at 1:30. It was a 60 minute massage. I have a confirmation in my email that stated 12:45. Given that we did not pay for a 45 minute massage, rather a 60 minute, it was disappointing . We had to pick up our kids from daycare so we didn't have time to speak to reception at the time . We were not sure if it was a one off so we contacted them. They were very responsive to investigate the issue and credited us the difference and more, as there was likely a misunderstanding. Their customer service, reception and therapists were great and we will definitely return there.

I had a wonderful experience with Reiki fusion with Krista and highly recommend this if this is a treatment you are interested in. I had a couples massage in the salt cave with my sister for her birthday. This was the most expensive massage I have ever had but it was the worst massage. I went in because I’ve had upper back pain and a stiff neck. I was so looking forward to my massage. I would not go back. Furthermore, our massage was booked from 6pm - 7pm. The massage therapists did not come and get us until after 6:00pm. We then had to get changed and leave our clothes under the massage table. By the time the massage began it was probably 6:10pm and they finished the massage right at 7:00pm. I think the massage should be exactly an hour and not 50 minutes. My massage therapist was literally karate chopping my body. My sisters massage therapist sounded like he was trying to hold in a cough the entire massage. Very disappointed.

I was so excited to try this place. It is beautiful and had a good ambiance. That was until my massage started. One of the worst massages I’ve ever had. The RMT did not respond well to any of my body cues, I then verbally told her several times my concerns and what I preffered. She spent an hour doing the same movement digging her elbow and forearms into my body, and when she finally used her hands her thumb nail would dig into me. My eyes were wide open the whole massage. I was in shock that out of all the places I’ve been to this fancy beautiful spa was the place that gave me the worst massage at the highest price. Very disappointed.

I had the 75 minute Thai Yoga RMT massage( therapist Michelle) it was the first time having this type of massage therapy. From the time I called in to inquire about this type (spoke with Katelyn) of therapy to the actual therapy itself I was very impressed with the professionalism and knowledge of all the employees at Zenbar. Is a small crowded place. I had to wait in the front desk area with nowhere to sit. I asked for water and was told no. Very noise front desk area. Was brought into massage and was burnt on my foot by the jade stone. I said ow multiple times during the massage because Luke hurt me. Didn't feel any better after massage. A.MAY.ZING! Let me tell you, all my covid stress landed in my shoulders and I walked out feeling like jello. I will never get a massage anywhere else! From the first phone call to the moment we were done my spouse and I were so satisfied. We did the couples massage in the salt cave, which might i add was a nice touch to the overall experience. The staff was friendly and welcoming and made me feel so comfortable. I am not one to be comfortable being undressed around strangers but RMT made me feel so relaxed and respected. I came here so many times, and I decided to never come back again cause of their bad administration system, they cancel my appointment cause they don’t have an update credit card in their system even I booked the appointment long time ago and they never mentioned that before, and they didn’t even respect that I’ve been a client for a very long time who never miss any appointment! So I went for my appointment and when I arrived they simply told me they had canceled my appointment and left a voice message the night before! Why didn’t you bother to send an email or tell me when I initially booked with you!!! I thought their call a reminder for the appointment as usual. And one time before they made a mistake in redeeming my gift card and didn’t bother to inform me despite their confirmation email that they redeemed it and got the full amount and at check out ask me to pay with my credit card !!!! Really bad administration and bad system! Bottom line I’ll never come back

This service from the moment we booked our same day treatment until the moment we left was phenomenal. By far the best spa experience we've had... and let me tell you, we have spa days often. Staff is super friendly and efficient. Facility is clean, cozy and therapeutic. Complimentary beverages are delicious and the RMT's truly personalized our treatments to our specific issues & needs ! Bought a Caramel pumpkin body bliss body scrub while it was on special as a birthday present for myself. The studio was clean, with a peaceful ambience ( not a candlelit room though as described on the package). Unfortunately, the treatment itself felt rushed and not thorough. The one hour session did not start on time and yet it ended early. I would have to ask around for a better aesthetician if I intend to go back....but for now I am better off going to another spa.

I’ve been to Zenbar many times but it seems to have gone downhill. Most recently I booked a couples massage and verified in my original email and my confirmation email that we would have two female therapist. Both times that was confirmed. On the day of the message we found we had a male therapist which neither my husband and I were comfortable with. This was addressed with the team and we proceeded but it was not enjoyable. There was no where to leave your clothes so we had to place on the floor. What happened to the lockers and robes?! That was a silly mistake which no one addressed. Upon coming out the front desk girls were discussing another client in a negative fashion. I could not wait to leave and won’t be returning.

Amazing experience! If you're looking for a spa package that's worth the price look no further. I'm from Vaughan and drove out to oakville for the detox day spa package for my birthday. I was hesitant at first because of the covid restrictions but the relaxing calm experience wasn't hindered at all. The staff were so helpful and very attentive. They should have some kind of discount on clients birthdays but other than that it was amazing. Definitely will recommend to friends.

Not an enjoyable experience, especially for a “high end spa.” I had lots to write but it seems that my review is not getting posted but here are some pointers: -there was a long top to bottom mirror in the massage room on the wall and the massage table/my head was pointing directly towards the mirror (so once the covers are lifted up for me to roll over, the massage therapist can basically look in the mirror and see me) -there is no where to put your clothes -the massage therapist did not use appropriate draping technique- she literally lifted up the covers to take my hand out - did she see anything? -my massage therapist for the first time caused a Charlie horse in my feet

I had chronic pain in shoulders and back due to repetitive motions made at work. I booked a 60 minute massage with Mike as it was the first available spot on my day off (tbh my comfort is normally with a female therapist). He was professional, kind and made me feel very comfortable. I was so impressed with the techniques he used to elevate my pain! I am sitting in my car writing this review with my range of motion back and so much less pain. I highly recommend Mike as a registered therapist. For those like me, apprehensive about a male therapist, don’t be! He was a pro. As for the spa in general; staff is friendly, easy to book online, cute lounge to wait in, clean and relaxing environment. Highly recommend!

Positives: -massage was well done. Masseuse took non-verbal cues well and always asked about pressure/comfort. -staff took their time when completing services, didn't feel rushed. -quick pay process. Didn't have to wait long to leave. -staff friendly, helpful. Negatives: -Small waiting room: I went on a busy weekend, so there were more people waiting then there was room to sit. Lots of coats spread out on the seats as well. -Some patrons were talking loudly on their phones, which made the space feel less relaxing. -Some of the furniture and linens are suffering from wear and tear. Overall, services are great, but the atmosphere could be better.

I was at Zenbar this past weekend celebrating my birthday with 3 friends. We booked the salt cave massage and were utterly disappointed. We had to place our clothes, jacket and purse on the dusty floor as there wasnt even a small table or hook in the room. My friend asked for a cup of water before the massage and the response was " the water is on the other side of the studio". I even spoke up and asked for more pressure but my masseuse was not interested in the service whatsoever. It seemed like she was forced to be there. EDIT: I’ve noticed whenever someone leaves you feed back that isn’t positive you get extremely defensive, take this feed back and apply it to making your business better. I have good reviews and bad reviews on businesses, I always post under a different name but I would be more than happy to give you my details and when I was at Zenbar, my friend also came with me and had the same service and was also disappointed. The outside looks great. Disappointed on the inside, I found it actually dirty, very dusty in the front, I used the bathroom and the garbage was legit overflowing, the girls at the front were more interested in talking to one another, the massage was good, not great. I personally won’t be returning, for the price they charge it definitely isn’t worth it.

I cannot begin to express how disappointed I am with my experience at Zenbar. I took my husband there for his birthday and we enjoyed a lovely half day experience, paid our bill and left. A couple of days later, I noticed a considerable charge from Zenbar on my credit card bill. I called the company and was informed that they had made a mistake when cashing out my bill and had subsequently charged my card for the difference. No one called, emailed or sent me a text to inform me of this charge or to ask for my consent. After expressing my displeasure with the sales associate, she apologized, offered to credit my card for the amount and assured me that my card information would be removed from their system and that I would not be charged in the future. As promised, I received the credit, however a few days later, I noticed that the company had charged my card again without my consent. I called back to discuss the charge and the sales associate was not only rude and dismissive but she hung up the phone on me twice. I am currently fighting to get my money back and will be lodging a complaint with Consumer Protection Ontario for violation of privacy. Furthermore, I have yet to receive any assurance that they will not continue to charge my card. I have been to many spas over the years and this is the WORST that I have ever encountered, I will NEVER do business with these people again.

Despite the atmosphere was great, staff were very nice, and the facility was calming, however, the quality of the massage was very low & weak and the body treatment is low too and not as I expected it. Also, the quality of the services differed greatly from one therapist to another. My family and I wanted to feel something different in our stressed and aching bodies after the massage and the body treatment but nothing was different. We hoped the massage & the treatment targeted our pained points professionally. Very pricy for the service received.

This spa is beautiful and tastefully decorated. The services themselves are nice. My massage therapist was excellent. The biggest issue with this spa is that it is noisy! I went there just over two weeks ago for a massage on my birthday and boy oh boy the noise. I mentioned it to the therapist who was empathetic. From my cabin I could here constant door opening and closing as well as the washer and drawer sing song as it finished cycles, staff chit chatting etc. I don't think they paid the money for soundproofing when building out the massage cabins which is a real shame. I would recommend this place for a chatty girls event but if you're really looking for peace, calm, quiet - I would be tempted to look somewhere else. I left a note for the owner on my departure and heard nothing back - the staff who handled my request to leave a note also didn't bother to ask how my service was. So - there are some customer service opportunities as well.

Had an amazing 2 hour massage here. The therapist did a great job at applying just the right amount of pressure. The ambience in this place is very zen like considering it's in a plaza with businesses on either side. Slight issue with some talking outside of my room but not enough to take away from the experience (my room was located just off the front entrance). The only negative thing I have to say is that I was freezing the entire time. I did mention to the therapist and he did give me an extra blanket but with covid and restrictions I understand they can't follow some of their regular practices. Highly recommend Zenbar.

There was nothing special about the massage they offered but are very expensive than the other spas. Their timing too was off. We were late by 7 mins so I would expect the massage to be done for the remaining 53 mins. However, it was only done for 35-40 mins and the time we wasted waiting for the masseuse was also included in us being late. Would not return here to pay full amount for nearly half the service time. Disappointed with the first experience here.

I did the Detox Day & Juice Cleanse and it was wonderful! The staff at the front desk and for the services were fantastic, really appreciated how helpful they were. The juices that were provided were delicious and the facilities were very calming and spotless. Felt very safe during these times of COVID, will definitely be back!

This is the second time I have went to Zenbar. The first time was a half day spa including massage and I said I would never go back because I was so disappointed. Then I became desperate today, on a Sunday, unbearable neck pain. Zenbar had an opening and I have to say PHILIP LUU is INCREDIBLE. I have had probably a hundred massages in my life and he is the best masseuse I have ever met. Talks enough to make you comfortable but knows when to stop and let you enjoy the quiet. Technique was perfect I walked out with my headache mostly relieved and more mobility back in my neck. He is only in on Wednesdays and weekends and I am sure is in high demand. I will be back in a few weeks! Thanks Philip!!

We had such a fabulous experience! My husbands booked a couples massage and a facial for moi. We are pretty particular about our massages and this place does not disappoint. My masseuse was Martin who in my opinion is one of the best - by far! I also love me a good facial. I had the oxygeneo facial - whoa! I didn't want to get up. Olivia was my aesthetician and she's so good! We cannot say enough about our experience at Zenbar. From start to finish, the service was great. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back ... likely sooner than later. Thank you for providing us an experience we really needed.

What a great spa so close to home! Gives you the downtown luxury spa experience without the hassle of driving to get there. I decided to pamper myself with a half day at the spa retreat. I had a massage, pedicure and facial done. All were amazing and I was left feeling very relaxed by the end of it. Jared is an amazing masseuse! He used enough pressure and asked for direction/feedback on what i wanted him to work on next, which was great. I had the massage done in the salt cave, but the salt cave experience wasn’t as great as I thought it would be. I’ve been to other salt caves in Toronto and would not really call this a “cave”. I had kasia for my pedicure and was pleasantly surprised with the fact that eye masks are provided and the chair lifts up high and back to allow for a laying down position, while still allowing the technician to do your nails! Have not experienced that anywhere else - so cool! Kasia did a great job on my nails! She painted them quickly and perfectly. I had an oxygeneo facial by Olivia and it was amazing! My skin was glowing and so moisturized right after. All and all it was a great experience! Although I will probably opt out of the salt cave experience. Will definitely be back :-)
