I booked in and Isabel was very nice, however when i asked for a registration number she said she would speak to my insurance but she's also not listed on the registered Osteopaths of Ontario. Fine. I trust she is registered if she says and would have confirmed the day of, but I go to the appointment with no instructions and it's a house. I knocked and knocked, no answer, and all was dark inside. I called and emailed saying I was there and maybe there was some confusion over time (though I have an email from Isabel confirming the time earlier that week) and almost three weeks later I have heard nothing back BUT I still am receiving her marketing emails or newsletters. I was even going to give the benefit of the doubt that she may have fallen ill but it seems very strange those emails continue almost daily but no response to missing my appointment. No apology, no explanation...nothing. Extremely unprofessional in my opinion and I would not recommend. My husband and i own a multidisciplinary health clinic but don't have an Osteo so I'm quite aware of this sort of business and scheduling problems etc. so I really can find no excuse.
I have read the response and I take issue. I rang the doorbell multiple times, knocked, phoned and emailed. Still weeks later I have received no email, phone call - only a response to this review saying I was a no show client, wholly untrue. It would have been a much better argument to say you had simply had a schedule mishap; however, an un-responded phone message and email easily refutes you not responding to a no show, since I clearly was there for my arranged appointment. Really unbelievable and terrible way to treat a client.
