I have been to this salon 4 times as of today. Between their old location on Dresden to their new location on barrington. The service is amazing and the price is really good for a men's hair cut with a head massage, shampoo too. Went today and got my hair cut and dyed and I love it, i look like a natural blonde from a brunette. Thank you Justin!!! I will be back for sure whenever I did my hair done or more products :)

As it was my first time at the salon, I was very impressed by the level of care of not only my stylist but the receptionist as well. After telling my stylist of my almond allergy, she thoroughly read each products ingredient label to ensure there was no trace of it. I really appreciated that she not only took the initiative to read each label, but was told me that she was doing so so that I had confidence as well. I got excellent service while choosing a retail product as well, all-around great experience!

my first time getting my lashes done (lift and tint) and they turned out great! the women there are so easy to talk to and the overall vibe is just so relaxing and calming. smells so good in there. they also have a lot of cute things to buy & look at and offer such a wide variety of services. everything is vegan and cruelty free as well which i love. would recommend to anyone! price is decent as well.

It was a first time visit for me and while I love Barrington Street - I have been working from home in the north end since March so it was great to come back downtown. Beautiful salon that was fastidiously clean and I felt entirely comfortable coming here and really looked after. My face must still be feeling the effects of this incredible facial as I went on holiday afterwards and everyone remarked on my skin and how fantastic it looked. A few months ago I saw a stylist at a different salon. Even though I showed her pictures and talked in detail about what I wanted and didn't want, she gave me one of the ugliest haircuts of my life. I only wish I had taken a picture because it's hard to believe how ugly it was. And it was nothing like what I showed her or talked about! I immediately came to Life Salon on Barrington to see if someone was available to fix my hair. I got in with Quin and I've been seeing her ever since. She always listens carefully, plans, and consults with colleagues before doing anything. She made the best of a very short, terrible haircut and two more haircuts later, I can say that it is finally looking good again. I was so upset after this ugly haircut and she was so good working with me. She is a true professional and I do not hesitate in recommending her.

Worst service ever. I had a Groupon coupon for three men's cut. I went there once, but when I called them for the second time, Virginia said their barber left the company and they no longer honor it. After certain discussions, they said if they would honor, they would do so only on certain days. (When student barbers are in!) Avoid!

What a relaxing and spiritually awakening moment. The staff is amazing. I came for a haircut but got treated like royalty. I never knew how relaxing a simple scalp massage could be. Anyone you know that wants a relaxing and professional service, this should be your first stop.

Devin always takes his time and doesn't make you feel rushed, giving you the best overall experience and haircut! I find him very professional and a perfectionist (which is what you want). I don't get my hair cut very often but I've been going to Devin for years and won't trust my hair with anyone else!
