My appointment was cancelled twice, once because the hairstylist "definitely, could not come in," and then because the stylist wasn't feeling well. I have no problem if people are sick and appointments have to be moved, but for it to happen twice in a two week period...it was extremely frustrating and frankly, felt unprofessional. I ended up going to different salon who could get me in the next day so I wouldn't have to wait another week for an appointment that may end up cancelled ...again.

I'm new to Wolfville and *really* needed a solid haircut. I'm so glad I chose BeLeaf and was given an appointment with Shelby! She totally "got" the look I was going for, checked in with me the entire time (water temperature, length, layers), and was fun to chat with. It's been a week since my appointment and I'm still thrilled with my fresh, youthful, healthy, and easy-to-style haircut. She even let me know that if I need a minor 'clean-up' between cuts that she'd do that at no charge. Very happy client! Thank you, Shelby!

I had the stress-fix massage followed by the indian scalp massage. Ashley was just marvelous: polite, and skilled and efficient - the whole experience was extremely peaceful and relaxing...I can't actually remember the last time I felt so relaxed, and I very much appreciate the wonderful service. As I have very dry hair and a dry scalp, I left the oil in my hair until later - if you book this service and if you had plans for after the service, I would suggest you also book a shampoo there :-)

The massage was excellent. The hair cut was exactly what I told the stylist I did not want. The first thing I said was that I do not want short and I really dislike bobs. I showed pictures of what I want which is what I had at the time to a degree, she swung me around away from the mirror, I asked if she wanted me to keep the pictures open on my phone and she said no, and when she finished cutting she swung me back to the mirror. I had a short bob. Did you not hear the first thing I said?? She tried fixing it but now there’s not much hair..... so she tried to sell me a $300 hair extension. I left but later discovered my medical insurance card missing and knew it was still there as the receptionist was busy and was going to process it while I was getting my hair done. I called the salon and the new receptionist said she would look around and call me back. I needed that card so I drove down the next day because no one called me back. Ugh

I had a trim, and foils. Went nice and blonde for summer. Shelby did an excellent, amazing, incredible job. I also bring my children to her for haircut's. She is so good with them! She always has lots to talk about, and always makes me feel good about myself. The rest of the staff are always kind and friendly as well when we are there.

Be leaf spa is my new favorite hair salon to go to. The staff are always courteous and professional. I have been going semi regularly since the beginning of the year and I never have had a problem. The online booking makes getting in for another appointment so easy! The stylist I saw, Clare, was polite, funny, easy-going and we found fair bit of common ground for conversations so the appointment was a breeze. I was surprised to find I'd been in the salon for an hour. She asked questions before and during the haircut to confirm the length and style I wanted and she did a lovely job. Overall, my experience with her was excellent and I will definitely be back to see her when I need another cut.

This is my favourite spa so far in Nova Scotia. You'll need to book in advance tho to get the appropriate treatment/special you are looking for ???? My Aesthetician aas amazing! She is very personable. We shared stories together. I really felt as tho I was one of her gf's. On top of that she is a very talented artist. I showed her the design I wanted for my pedicure with the colours I picked out and she rocked it. The only thing I regret is not catching her name ????????

My family came to get spray tanned before my sister's wedding tomorrow. We ended up asking to squeeze me in as well. The receptionist, without even asking Jordan (the lady doing the tan), immediately said no. Once my family asked the esthetician, she said it was no issue. Upon entering, the receptionist made every effort to make us feel unwelcome from being passive aggressive to not even asking how to spell my name when entering me into the system. After filling out all the forms, she had us sit in their waiting room. We were talking quietly and she proceeded to come in multiple times to tell us to be quiet because people were getting massaged. However, all doors in the salon were open which proved that no one "was getting massaged". As receptionists, the expectation is that they would be ambassadors for your business. These two women failed miserably at providing the spa experience that is to be expected. The service with Jordan was amazing but unfortunately marred by two women that appeared keen to make the experience unenjoyable.

It's been since the beginning of the pandemic that I've had my hair done. My hair is 3 different colors, and the only thing I've been able to afford the past year is drug store shampoo and condition. Which i KNOW is so so bad. I was terrified of judgement but I quickly felt so comfortable and accepted!! I think I found my new hair gal! ;) I can't thank her enough for the wonderful service I got today! Everything is perfect in the salon! Even the little things they add in like a warm towel around my neck at the sink, I find everywhere else I go it's really uncomfortable. The little scalp and neck massage... I had to force myself to not cry (happy tears of course!) I really needed this pick me up today. Thank you so much!!

I had a great experience with Kirby! She is professional and took the time to learn about my hair (damaged from previous home bleaching) and suggest a solution. My hair looked great after a deep conditioning treatment and a cut that got rid of dead ends while maintaining my length. Couldn’t be happier with the result! Please do not get your hair done here. I am a student at Acadia and went here to get my brown hair balayaged in the summer to a lighter blonde and they completely bleached my entire head of hair orange. I paid $280 for this "service" and ended up spending tons all summer to fix my orange/yellow head of hair. They were absolutely rude when I went back to get it fixed and I had to pay additional fees for my services. They have no clue how to run a business and do not value their customers in any way. They trash the aveda name by the way in which they treat paying customers who's hair has been ruined. You could not pay me to go back there.

You get an essential oil scalp and shoulder massage before your haircut, and it's so relaxing! A great destination in the valley.
