I am a brand new client and never attended this clinic. I had not choice but to select one star. I wanted to select zero start as the RMT cancelled my appointment and the reason, he sited a couple of times when he called me 1 hour before my appointment was that I had made it Saturday evening - not sure what that meant as the online booking scheduled me - does it matter when you make your appointment? An appointment means that you have an obligation to fulfill and as you did not, I will not attend your clinic now that I see how unimportant your clients are to you.

I have been going to Athan for massage therapy for about 3 years and I can't say enough good things about him. He has a great intuitive sense of what his clients need and always manages to get right to the root of the issue. I had recurring headaches that would last for days at a time when I started going there. He linked it to tension in my neck and upper back and after a few treatments, the headaches went away. We've actually recommended him to quite a few people, many of whom are now regular clients of his as well.

Athan is the best massage therapist I have ever had! I initially saw him because of a problem with my shoulder and lower back. He really took the time to listen to me and address my concerns. As well, he suggested stretches to do. With his help I am now 100% better!! On top of his skills as a massage therapist, he is a super nice guy who always made me feel comfortable. He was super accommodating often coming in early for me. The only reason I stopped going to him is because I moved 2 hours away from Toronto! Having said that, if I need a massage therapist in the future I would consider driving to Toronto to see him again! I highly recommend!

*My partner cannot make a review on her account for some reason so she is using my account to write a review.* I called to see if I could book an appointment. A lady answered the phone and immediately had a bad attitude with me. I know you typically have to book in advance so I was inquiring about the next available date for a consultation/appointment. She was very rude and kept pressuring me to hurry up and pick a date and time that I would like to come in. I simply was trying to be respectful. Whoever answers the phones needs training in being nice to customers. I’ve been in the customer service industry for many years now so I understand how you should be talking to your customers. I found another clinic that treated me with respect and compassion. I hope this does not happen again to anyone else.

I first started getting treatments at Healing Hands in 2016 while in the process of completing my Masters at the University of Toronto. Long days and nights at the computer had left my back and neck in rough shape. At my first appointment I was given a full professional assessment, that did not cut in dramatically to my treatment time like other places have done. The treatment room was professional, and the soft music and aromatherapy created a relaxing environment. As a former professional athlete, I have received many treatments of various types. The treatment I received from Healing Hands was on par with the best I have ever received. I left not only feeling better, but also educated about what was happening within my body. I was given follow-up instructions, stretches to help alleviate my pain and provided with a complimentary water. Overall my experience with Healing Hands over the last 4 years has been nothing but positive. My monthly appointments are from start to finish professional, I feel comfortable, heard and respected at every appointment. With so many choices for treatment providers available, I thought it was important that I share my positive experience.

Found this on Groupon and have been going there ever since. Athan is excellent and has helped me with a perennial bad back. Very reasonable price, therapist is registered and my insurance has always fully covered their services. Get their monthly package if you can, as it's most cost effective.

She is so knowledgeable and knew exactly where to tackle when I complained about my soreness. She sure knows what the female body goes through during and post pregnancy! this is the highest rating for any neighbourhood business I have given. I love this place and I appreciate this place. Unassuming, but you know the owner works hard everyday. I’ve gone to several RMTs within the Scarborough/North York area and none has gotten close to the quality of treatments I have received from Athan at Healing Hands. I passionately study and train in Jiu-Jitsu and kickboxing; injuries and strains can become a common thing. Since coming here, Athan has supplemented my recovery regimen so well that my recovery time with each injury has progressively gotten better after each treatment. I can regularly train confidently and efficiently by knowing that I have a knowledgeable support system in Healing Hands. Athan’s prices for his treatments are fair and his workspace is clean. He always customizes the treatments depending on severity of pain or needs. He’s comforting to talk with and very transparent and honest. Two weeks ago I had to fill in to clean the snow storm in a backhoe for 9 hours straight, being an office worker I woke up the next day with massive pain in my left shoulder and neck, up to last night I couldn't sleep due to the pain. My sister arrange me to see Simon at Healing Hands in Orleans, I had a one hour therapy with Simon which resulted in my first time in two week to get a full night sleep. Simon found the pinch nerve in no time and proceeded in repairing the damage. Thank you Simon and I will send all the customer in pain your way.

Athan is a superior practitioner. I have been going to see RMTs my whole life, and he has been the best. I had numbness and tingling in my hand for 3/4 of a year, and with one treatment, he fixed it. I had a terrible attack from arthritis pains and sciatica pains due to spinal stenosis. My shoulder, arms, and leg muscles all became very weak and not functioning well. The massage treatments at the HealingHands helped my poor conditions to improve significantly from Feb - June, 5 months. I liked the focused treatment to fix the problem such as locked hip joint, stiff shoulder and neck joints, reviving numb foot and calf, and discomforts in the stomach area, Their treatments actually solved the problem, not only giving me good feelings. I did the coolsculpting treatment twice a year ago and found no results in measurement. If anything I felt it increased in inches and there were no changes to my diet. I am vegan, very healthy and eat very lean. I would not waste money on this treatment. Also, I left a pair of Tom Ford sunglasses ($800) by the shaking machine after my first treatment and the front-desk lady said she found it but will get back to me when she can locate it again. Called back the following days and now they can't find it. Never heard from her again. I assume someone from the clinic kept my sunglasses and tell me it is not found and stolen. Very unprofessional. I would not recommend the coolsculpting treatment to anyone as it is a waste of money as I know now. And I hope they are happy with keeping my new sunglasses that I only got to wear 2 times.
