If I could give 10 stars I would. My therapist is Katherine Lamar I was in moter vehicle accident in 2009 and went to many therapists. None of the therapists could get to the root of my pain which started in my lower back and is now tricking down to my arms and fingers. Katherine knew how to manipulate my muscles so well that I noticed a huge difference in my lower back pain just after the first visit. I could finally get dressed without shooting pain in my back. I would recommend Katherine to all my friends and relatives. Thank you so much Katherine. PS The receptionists are very accommodating and efficient

I went there for acupuncture the person that did the acupuncture was unti vaccine and proudly told me she is refusing to get covid vaccine and doesn't believe in Western medicine. I usually do acupuncture and I feel wonderful after. However, it was my first time at this place and this time after the acupuncture I felt way more pain after to the point that I couldn't move. Not a good experience I have so much pain that I might need to go to hospital.

At time of writing I have visited Synergy New West Minister multiple times beginning in January 2022. I had ongoing issues that required physiotherapy, at the time I was also looking for RMT. Paid Parking is available in front or in the uncovered parking lot adjacent to the building. The front desk staff is helpful at Synergy and very quickly we’re able to respond to any scheduling concerns I had when calling in by phone. Katherine, the physiotherapist I worked with was professional, kind, attentive and thorough in dealing with the concerns I had. She is experienced and professional and put my needs and comfort first. I highly recommend synergy moving forward.

Well where too start ... After a car accident I was gifted with Matthew ( massage therapist ) and Katherin (physiotherapist ) . I have NEVER EVER been so impressed . Katherin should have her hands and elbows insured cause for a itty bitty tiny thing that girl has SUPER STRENGTH LOL. Mathew and Kathrin have completely changed the shape of my body . From my rounded shoulders , hunched back and a barrel chest. We're still working hard BUT AS A TEAM . I've never been so happy.

I had my very first Massage Therapy session with Matthew today and I am so glad that I did. I have been in severe pain my whole life and it has only gotten worse with time. Matthew is great at what he does, and has definitely picked the right profession! I feel very fortunate to have found someone so knowledgeable, communicative, kind, and compassionate in this field. He explains everything, he is a great listener, and is very respectful - I feel really cared for and heard and a lot of things make sense, now that he has explained them to me, as to where my pain actually is and why it's hurting and what can be done about it both in a session and every day on my own. He's given me very level appropriate exercises I can do at home in between sessions and honestly, if I could give him 6 stars, I would! I don't write reviews as a rule but I wanted to share my experience with others in hopes that they can get the help they are looking for. I spent a good part of 5 years trying to figure out why I was sore all the time and why my body could not relax and unwind. I tried every form of wellness help I could think of and thousands of dollars and my medical coverage from work. I want to thank the honest and sincere employees at Synergy Rehab for finally helping me achieve most of my goal. After just 2 sessions with MATTHEW BLOUDOV I can finally get comfortable enough to sleep through the night now. I don't feel locked up anymore. Yes I still have some work to maintain on my own and thank you to Matthew he advises me on some tips to keep the ball rolling. I suffered for years to the point where I became depressed and feeling hopeless. I wish I had found this place 5 years ago. If you find yourself in discomfort or pain and you simply just want to get to the bottom of it , I highly recommend the knowledgeable and friendly staff at Synergy Rehab as your first stop, Not your last one like I did. MATTHEW BLOUDOV has honestly changed my mobility, my sleep, my happiness and my quality of life.

Matthew has been really good at helping me figure out what the problem areas in my body could be. Been suffering from hip joint pain and LBP for 3yrs now and he has helped me a lot recently with my worsening hip pain. I also have been suffering from upper back and neck pain and tightness, and their new RMT Ehsan has helped me a lot with my neck pain. This clinic has changed from what it was before, waiting area has become significantly small perhaps because of the need for more room as they get busier. Place is clean and has enough privacy (individual rooms instead of cubicles). Frontdesk staff are awesome. They also offer acupuncture and physio in this place. The clinic is conveniently located in a medical building across Royal Columbian Hospital near Sapperton station.

I’ve been seeing Katherine for Physiotherapy since I had a car accident in August and and she’s amazing! She spends the whole half hour treating you by either massage stretching and other techniques depending on your injury. I’ve also been seeing Javier for massage therapy. He specializes with lower back and lumbar, he’s helped me so much too. Everyone here is very good at what they do. I’ve also seen a different Cathrine who does acupuncture and I highly recommend her as well. I had never tried acupuncture, but I decided to give it a try because my back wasn’t getting much better. When I started seeing Catherine I sweat my lower back has hardly been aching. She uses small needles and apply’s them to pressure points that are connected to different body parts and it helps your body’s energy to heal itself by doing stretches. If you come here you won’t be disappointed! I love how acupuncture, massage and physiotherapist are all in one place and they are open on Saturday’s now too so if you have a busy schedule they can work with you. Hope this helps ☺️

I came to this clinic after my car accident. I see Katharine for Physiotherapy and the other Katherine for Acupuncture. Katherine the physiotherapist is SO STRONG! She may be tiny but she Is MIGHTY! she always gives really good treatments and now My husband and I both come to her weekly while in recovery. She is also very friendly. Katherine the acupuncturist is also very kind. I was very nervous for Acupuncture after my accident but she is really great at keeping me calm, reminding me to breath and puts on relaxing music. She is very knowledgeable in her practice and I trust her completely. Thank you to my care team!!!

I just walk-in after work looking for RMT. The receptionist was really nice and helpful. RMT wasn't available that day, she recommended phiso. I don't usually like phsio, but this one is totally different experience for me. I am glad I tried. Kathrine is VERY good; she does deep tissue massage, strong pressure. I felt so good afterwards. Highly recommend her if you are seeing physio.

I had Physio and Massage here which were pretty good. But the active rehab ended up tearing my arm muscle. Any progress I had was gone after the active rehab sessions. The kinesiologist, Natalie had me signed up for rehab sessions every 2 days which was way too frequent, since I had a past arm injury! And I had to cancel a few sessions as I thought it might hurt the arm. I was correct and 6 days later I only have the use of one arm because of the pain, making daily activities difficult. It seemed like she just wanted to bill as much as possible, without considering my well being, and it had negative consequences for me. I definitely wont be doing rehab with her again!

Katherine was so patient with me for being late which turned what could have been an unpleasant start to the appointment into a positive one. Her technique of soft tissue release was fantastic and I left feeling more relaxed and in less pain than when I came in. She did patient teaching with me while she worked on me and made me feel like I was the only thing that mattered throughout our appointment. I will definitely be going back to see her.

Katherine Lamar has been helping me recover from a very back back injury in Feb. Her and the front desk team have been outstanding! She has always taken the time to assess my progress and ask me feedback eventide. She is very conscious of the patient vision of his injury and never pushes to expedite things. They work with you and for your well-being and health, not mass process patients for the sake of $. Thanks to the team there I was able to get better, reinforce the many core muscles that were either damaged or too weak to do their job, get finally the right orthotics soles that will realign my pelvis and prevent future injuries and strain. The full 9 yards. I'm so grateful for Katherine dedication to healing me beyond just pain and working with me to compensate all the weaknesses I had, so I'll beat 200% once I'm done.
