Yusuf Daud, RMT and owner NWMT clinic has been my husband's massage therapist. He loves Yusuf's special ability to sense where the problem areas and fixed it. My experience? I never forget how in 2012 Yusuf had brought me back from a crippling pain on my lower back and arms that lasted almost a year, at the worst time, I could not even push down on the door lever; no amount of yoga, chiropractor or acupuncture worked and MRI did not show any problem; upon my hubby's urge and a last resort I went to Yusuf to ease the pain; SURPRISE! he helped me back to no-pain freedom in 6 sessions; the amazing thing was he was able to tell me when to come back after each session, until the last session when he told me to come back whenever I want. The crippling pain was forever gone. I only visit Yusuf when occasional tightness came in, which he usually fixed in one session. Nowadays when I asked if I need to come back, he will say, 'see you when I see you', endearing. Yusuf has been a part of our family's well being until now. Thank you, Yusuf. Had a massage with RMT Paul Sulzycki this evening. Paul is brilliant, I had such a great experience. I left with Insight, stretches, and tips to help with my pain and posture issues. Also, the room.. beautiful. I need whoever designed that room to help me with the feng shui of my apartment. 5 star, highly recommend.

The building is beautiful, as is the studio itself. I had a lovely massage, but the stand out part of my experience was Joanna. She was very focused on treating my specific needs/concerns and she was charming and funny and enthusiastic. I got SO much helpful advice from her. Can't wait to go back!

Desiree has been my RMT for more than a year now and she's been pretty awesome in relieving and managing my back and hip pain. I always come out feeling pretty awesome after a session and it really helps me with my busy work days. The atmosphere of the room is really nice and the room is quite spacious. Everything inside the room makes me feel really relaxed and I can't count the number of times that I fell asleep. The online booking is very convenient and direct billing is a time saver! I will keep coming back to this place for as long as it is there.

Masseuse Yusuf Daud did a (painful) but overall good job releasing some bad knots around my spine. The facility was ok, but the room itself seemed a bit cluttered and could have been cleaner. The next day my body was extremely sore, so be aware that there will be some downtime. Location is in New West fairly easy to get to by transit. Parking is difficult in the area.

I had the most relaxing experience with my RMT Sara. Sara is very knowledgeable and checked in with me multiple times during the session to ensure I was comfortable. Before I left, she gave me some very helpful tips as to how to manage my repetitive straining. I cannot recommend her more.

I see Usef and he does deep tissue massage. He is the only person that could ever in this whole world give me a massage.! He knows what he is doing. I don't have to tell him anything.My shoulder was in so much pain and each time I go there it gets better and better. He is so focused and hard working and very professional. Desiree Taylor has been my massage therapist for 7+ years. I have tried other RMTs during this time, but Desiree is simply the best. She is a highly skilled and extremely knowledgeable RMT, who is very attentive to my progress, and when needed, provides guidance for exercises to maintain the benefits of her treatments. I also love the New West Massage Therapy space. It's quiet and relaxing, and conveniently located a short distance from the New Westminster Skytrain Station.

If you like deep massage, this is the place to be. Therapist's name is Joanna, she is very good! I highly recommend her. She goes out of her way to make sure that your needs are met. The place is at Columbia, very central if you are taking public transport. If you are driving, come earlier, paid parking is along designated parking on the side of the road. The massage room is huge with very nice ambience with lovely calm colours. If you have Pacific Blue Cross.. you are in luck, she does direct billing. It is online booking too just to make your life a lot easier. Do try a massage with Joanna, she is very friendly & amicable, I guarantee you will like her immediately- which is really important for a massage therapist. 5 stars for this service!

I've been to many different massage clinics locally and this one is by far the best. Not only is the location and interior ideal, the staff are amazing. From the moment you walk in, you can feel these people truly care. Desiree found the problems for my back and shoulder pain and put me on a program to full recovery. This clinic is newly opened, but the RMT (Joanna) has been one of my massage therapists for a while at another location. This new location has an unassuming exterior entrance, but once you step inside, you will find a tranquil atmosphere, with tall ceilings, beautiful exposed red brick, and calming lighting. Joanna is an excellent therapist who is able to pinpoint problem areas, provide recommendations to prevent recurring issues, and provides a very effective massage. As an added bonus, she is very easy to talk to and puts you at ease immediately with humour and genuine personality. The location is easy walking distance from two nearby Skytrain stations (Columbia or New West), and there are many interesting places to eat after your massage therapy session. There is street parking or undercover parking nearby at the Anvil Centre. Joanna also does direct billing with Pacific Blue Cross, so it's ultra convenient. I'll definitely be a repeat customer.

Highly recommend Yusuf. An absolute no nonsense person,knowledgeable and knows his stuff. Wish I found him sooner. If you are looking for deep or intense massage he is your go to. Spacious and clean massage room even though the hallway seems cramped. I even got my 4month old to get a mild massage from him and I appreciate and can’t thank him enough for that gesture. The cherry on the cake was they provide direct billing through insurance.

The atmosphere is very spacious and inviting which is surprising from the outside. It was easy getting an appointment and I was able to get in at a convenient time that aligned with my schedule. Been going to Yusuf on a regular basis for quite some time. He’s someone you can easily communicate with and is welcoming and professional! I love how tidy and relaxed his space is. He’s able to pin point problem areas in your body off the bat even without guidance. Clearly knowledgeable and well educated in what he’s doing. You’ll always walk out feeling 100%. Highly recommend him you won’t regret it! A heads up to try to come earlier to avoid issues with parking although you can generally find spots along the clinic. Is easy accessible to get to by transit.

I received an excellent hot stone massage treatment at NWMC. The atmosphere was inviting and calming and I was able to enjoy my massage in maximum comfort. My RMT was Desiree, and she was friendly, welcoming, and calming, making me feel relaxed and completely at ease. I had never done hot stone massage before and Desiree’s skills left me feeling both relaxed as well as free from tension and muscle pain. Sara is the best registered message therapist I have ever encountered! She is extremely knowledgeable, highly skilled, detail-oriented, and professional. She targets the area where you have pain and/or concern, and I always feel extremely relaxed after. She genuinely cares about her clients and gives advice after each session. Also, the interior of this place is super chic and clean with a very relaxing ambiance, which is a plus!

Fantastic massage therapy, beautiful rooms and building. So happy to have found this massage studio. I've been in a number of times for problems with spasming hips, pulled muscles and aching back. Each time I came out feeling significant improvement and armed with knowledge on how to continue working it out at home. Joanna was my therapist, she is genuine, educated, and excellent at targeting the problem areas. Highly recommend.

Desiree has been my RMT for the past 6 weeks and in this short amount of time, I’ve already seen such a great improvement. As I am on the road for work 10-12 hrs a day, by day 5, I’m exhausted and my body is quite sore and stiff. Since coming here, my range of motion has improved and I am much more flexible. I’ve seen many RMTs where after the first couple visits, they start to get lazy and not put in as much effort but Desiree works very hard during each session from start to finish. I highly recommend her!
