We need more of these in NB! Extremely clean! Staff were quiet...didn't smile much. Thermal experience was great! I have been to the Nordik Spa in Gatineau Quebec - holy smokes. That was a treat! Nordik Moncton was just as nice but on a scaled down version. Also....bistro could use some "normal" food. When I realised the smoothie was just a glass of Oasis Juice syrup....I didn't want to try anything else from the menu. All in all. A great expedia 've and we'll worth the $50 for an afternoon!

I've never been to a Spa before so no idea what to expect. The staff clearly explained the process of sauna for 10-15 minutes (dry or wet), dip in cold water for 30-60 seconds (or there's an overhead bucket that dumps cold water on you when you pull the chain which is cool!), then relax in the warm pool for 20. Repeat as many times as you like. On top of that their is massage (by appointment), lounge area with patio chairs and swings, relaxation room for reading or napping, and a bistro. Robes, towels, flip-flops, provided and if you want to shower before you leave there's body wash and shampoo in the shower stall. There are varying degrees of quiet that everyone has to follow. Makes for a serene time. Facilities were very clean. If I had one complaint its that you can't clearly see a clock to kniw how long you've been in the sauna. All this for roughly $50 a person not including rentals, bistro orders.

Very lovely spa and experience. The hydrotherapy treatment not only feels great, but my skin looked amazing after. Massage therapist was awesome, she knew her stuff. The staff is fairly strict on keeping noise at a wisper to make it a quiet, relaxing place. The only thing I would say is that the warming pooling could have been maybe 5 degrees warmer. Beautiful spot!!

We were there for 2.5 hours. Nice. Relaxing. Didn't get to enjoy the reading area or campfire cause it was too cold. Otherwise the hot and wet saunas were nice. The heated pool was great too.

The massage was great, but the thermal experience was extremely overpriced. If it’s cold outside, the heated pool can’t maintain its temperature and gets cold. We couldn’t complete our full thermal experience because of this, but still paid full price.

Lovely spot. The view is amazing. The facility is clean and inviting. Everything you need to relax. Reason for 4 stars is the poor choice of food. You burn a lot of energy during this and there not really much to eat and refuel your body.

Great place for relaxing and taking a break from work. I recommend going on a monday or tuesday bc they are usually less busy on these days. The entrance fee is about 58 dollars (tax inc.) Not quite cheap but definitely worth the money. Next time I'll try during winter time ! Very friendly and kind stuff had a great stay here

Trying to get a booking... the site is far from user friendly - they do not answer the phone and they don’t return calls ... I called 5 times and left 2 messages. I went there in person 2 times and they refuse to make a booking . I know there’s a pandemic but this is ridiculous.

Outstanding service from their staff, and the facilities are deeply therapudic and generally well thought out. The only small misses are the lack of a proper wood fire pit with a bit more privacy and wind protection, and a relaxing area with larger windows and more space for heated lounge chairs. The tip was also automatically added to the bill (in French) so I accidentally tipped them twice. While their staff is definitely worth the resulting 30 % tip, it would have been better to select the total tip once myself instead of automatically adding it into the bill. Overall great experience and will definitely be back.

One of the most amazing experiences ever. I highly recommend this spa. From the moment you walk in you are greeted with the wonderful smell of essential oils. The no talking or using a hushed voice is so necessary in creating a spa environment. In the spa area all you can hear is the gentle music, rustling grass and the gentle sound of rushing water from the two falls on site. I WILL be back. 10/10.

Absolutely loved this small but mighty thermal cycling spa experience. We spent four hours here, completing four cycles, including lunch in the Bistro. We left feeling blissful! We brought our own housecoats, flip flops, and water bottles are a must. There was no regular water fountain that I could find. The charcuterie boards in the restaurant were delicious and contained a lot of food. We will absolutely all look to be back soon!

The place is very relaxing and beautifully designed. It is quite small for a Nordik spa if you have been to another such as Gatineau, QC but I'm sure it will be expanding, as it had recently opened when I went. The 'hottub' was medium temperature so hopefully they will add a hotter one eventually.

Did our 10 year anniversary here. Spent 6 hours just relaxing and doing the circuit. Had some fantastic drinks, enjoyed the ice cold plunge and the steam room as well as the dry sauna and the zero gravity chairs in the quiet relaxation room. Spent some time in the hammock but it was a bit windy. Facilities were extremely clean and ambiance is warm and modern. Very nice place to enjoy a day with some friends or that special someone. Can’t wait to go back.

My friend Isabelle and I were so excited to try out this spa for the first time... We both took the day off work to treat ourselves to a relaxing day at USVA spa. -The thermal (outside) spa was beautiful and quiet, but unfortunately our experience was ruined by the staff working on this day, Friday July 13th 2018. -When we first walked in, the lady at the front desk did not greet us with a smile. I told her it was our first time and she seemed a bit annoyed and short with us to begin with... We asked a coupled questions since we had no idea how things worked. She did not clearly explain everything (where the timer was in the sauna, where to get water if we were thirsty...) During our lunch, the server only brought one water (for me) and my friend had to ask her if she could have one as well! (that should be common sense) -During the checkout, a different lady was working the front desk and asked me my name (Karissa) which the first "Greeter" did not spell correctly in the system (common mistake) so she had to ask her for help. After doing so, the first greeter gave her attitude for telling her she had spelled my name wrong which made me and my friend VERY uncomfortable. She then left and did not say anything to us!! -This was not a cheap treatment and so we expected to be treated a little differently!!!

The space was stunning and great for a first experience at a Nordic Spa. The massage and massage therapist was lovely and just all around a relaxing experience. I highly recommend it, the only reason it is a 4/5 star is because there was a staff member who seemed annoyed to be there or at least serving us and came off less than nice but still did their job well. Everyone has off days and it did not take away from our experience as a whole.

Conveniently located with a spacious parking lot, the panoramic view is breathtaking. The facility is well kept and modern, 2 towels are provided but bathrobes are available for rent. My expectation of a quiet relaxing experience was unfortunately not met. There was too many guests and a lot of them were laughing and chatting loudly (My visit wasn’t on a blah-blah Thursday). The covid restriction were also not met at times which was a bit frustrating: The steam sauna being closed, all guest wanted to access the dry sauna that had a maximum capacity of 3. We were 9 at one point. The two hairdryers in the dressing room weren’t working. The spa is beautiful, but the thermal experience is a bit overpriced in my opinion.

USVA Nordic Spa Moncton is not accommodating to people with disabilities. On Saturday, Dec. 4/21, a customer in a wheel chair with a service dog was denied a service when they went to the spa with a large family group. While the service may have been upstairs, which is not wheel chair accessible (and built in 2015?!), they refused to allow the service dog until CNIB called 2 times and an RCMP officer informed them that what they were doing was illegal and a Human Rights Violation. The business website does state to contact them directly to discuss mobility issues. The family called 7 days prior, left a message and the spa ignored the request for a return call. After an hour and a half of pleading with the owner, the spa finally refunded the $600.00 in gift cards that were to be used for the treatment. No apology was offered, no accountability taken. Instead a post by the owner was placed on the businesses FB site, which again demonstrated no accountability for its poor judgement. Highly recommend you avoid this spa as they were dismissive, unprofessional and callous in dealing with customers with different abilities.

The spa itself is amazing, but my expectations of a quiet relaxing experience weren't met, until I actually said 'shhhhh' to a couple of gals in the relaxation pool who were laughing and chatting at way above normal voice. I felt badly afterwards, as perhaps they were not advised of the protocol and I hope that I didn't ruin their experience!

The Usva Spa was a wonderful experience. Although the Spa area is pretty small, the steam room and sauna were pretty big and looked and feeled like rooms you would find in larger Spas. We went on a Saturday afternoon and from 1pm until 4pm free guided meditations and water yoga were being offered in the Steam room/sauna/pool for free. This greatly enchanded the experience and was something I never saw in any of the bigger Spas.

I've been here 3 times now, and I have left feeling amazing everytime. The staff are always pleasant, and atmosphere is so calming and the view is beautiful! I've seen a few posts complaining about the "hot tub" but it is actually a warm salt water pool, there is no proper hot tub to relax in. The salt water pool is amazing though! I recommend reading over their website before going to know what to expect and what to bring so you dont forget anything! (Like sunglasses, a water bottle, or a book!) The pricing for the day is well worth every dollar.
