Terrible customer service!
Two of my friends were booked in for a pedicure, and as one was unable to make it, I called that morning and asked if I could take her place. They insisted on telling me that my friend had called to cancel, and that the spot had since been filled. I confirmed with my friend that she had not cancelled, and we both talked to the spa again. They absolutely refused to accept any accountability, claiming that their staff and robust system couldn't possibly have made an error, and clearly it was one of us who called.
After much discussion, they finally decided to look into it further, and called us back to claim that our other friend had emailed them to cancel the other spot - she had EMAIL PROOF. Apparently this "proof" was just an e-mail that my other friend asked about moving HER appointment, and when it wasn't possible, asked that they leave it all the same. Somehow their staff figured this was a cancellation for both ladies, and then reinstated one of the spots, but not both.
They still continued to insist that the whole thing was our fault, and that the spot had been filled, and they could not accommodate us both at the scheduled time.
My one friend did attend the appointment alone, and no one came during her time to fill the other spot. What was a simple clerical error could have been easily solved by accepting some responsibility, apologizing, and being honest - not the constant string of accusations and a lie about the availability, when the spot sat empty the entire time.
