Also reasonable, understandable and friendly; you leave feeling more like an informed friend and part of the community and less like cattle being herded through, as is sometimes the case at other clinics. Gratefull that they took the time to get to know me and how they could help my situation while taking the time to put me at ease whilst giving the most appropriate care possible - everything all under one roof ????

I was disappointed in my care at this clinic. I visited for physiotherapy for some knee issues and was misdiagnosed by the physiotherapist. After getting a second opinion it was found I had a slightly torn meniscus which is the most common knee injury. I have rapidly improved since seeking out a different physiotherapist. I wasted almost a month and over 400 dollars at woodgroves pine and got nowhere. Also when receiving laser treatment, I was not given goggles on one of my treatments which is very questionable behaviour from the laser technicians. After I left I realized I should have insisted upon wearing them but put my faith in the technician even though I shouldn't have. Disappointed is an understatement. My visits were rushed and averaged between 10-30 mins. The physio I am seeing now spends much longer with me and charges a much fairer rate with combined services included. This place feels like a money grab looking back on it. I highly recommend going elsewhere as Nanaimo has many other great options for physio, etc...

Male massage therapist behaved unprofessionally towards me and when I reported this to staff my concerns were completely ignored and staff seemed eager to brush this under the rug. Use caution in coming here if you're a woman. It is also interesting to note that if you leave a bad review they comment giving details about your medical treatments. Luckily my gmail account doesn't contain my actual name.

Not happy with my visit today. Was booked in for 5 10pm. Came In, sat down as normal. At 5 30pm I figured I must have miss heard the time my appointment was for. Nope, just the place running behind. Fine...I get that. 5 55pm...get told I will have to re-schedual. My time is worth something. I got towed along for 45 minutes to just get told "sorry" I work a camp job, I leave the following day. Now I'm SOL and probably going to slid backwards in my treatment. Cool. ???????????? Time to pick your feet up staff....this place use to rock and work like a well oiled machine. It's starting to lack. This isn't my first scheduling debacle in the last little wile either, but other times I was informed well in advance to sitting around for nearly an hour. Still happy with the general service iv had in the past. So I can't put a low rating.

I booked an hour massage and my massage therapist showed up 15 min late. Then spent 5 minutes wasting time talking about her fear of Covid. Then told me even though it will only be 40 minutes I’m still getting charged for a full hour. I asked why as she was late, she said “that’s just how it goes”. When I flipped On my back she not only made me wear my mask but covered my face with a sheet. I couldn’t breath the entire time, plus I had to ask her to rub my skin (massage me) because she just kept resting her hands on me but with no pressure. So I paid $110.00 for a uncomfortable, stressful, non massage. When I went to the front to pay I asked the receptionist if my massage was suppose to be an hour, she said yes, and I said okay it was 40 minutes, and she just handed me the machine to pay, didn’t ask any questions, didn’t care, just pay and go. So I just paid, left, and won’t return obviously.

All of the practioners are amazing. I have been coming for treatments from acupuncture, to chiro, to chelation, to massage and recently for physio. I have never felt rushed or that my care wasn't a practioners primary thoughts. The admin staff is second to none. Some of the sweetest ladies I've ever met. Changing appointments always made easy!! I would not go anywhere else for treatment!!

Had a bad experience here. Went for my second appointment looking forward to getting treatment. I was called short notice for a cancellation appointment. I missed work and had to arrange a ride as I currently cant drive due to my injury. I showed up for my appointment and was told the Practitioner was not in. The receptionist stated that she "couldn't get a hold of me" when really she did not call. They were able to call me for my appointment so they had my number to inform me of the change. Disappointing to not accept fault for not contacting the customer and blaming the customer for being unable to reach. Will not return.

Wow what an amazing clinic! I have had horrible tendonitis and I was being told I would need surgery to take away the numbness in my hand, but Dr. Scott was fabulous. She diagnosed my problem, explained what was wrong and how she would treat me and then did so! Within 5 visits my numbness was completely gone, my arm pain was gone and I can now do my job! The clinic and staff are so friendly! A great place to go.
